So, the main six Star Wars movies are my favorite movies of all time. I believe I've established that before, so that's no surprise. Well, I had all of the DVDs growing up. However, my past self was really careless when it came to DVDs (A trait I've grown to really regret since it's screwed me over now), and I'm unable to find anything besides Phantom Menace on a VHS tape. So, my question here: Does anyone know if Lucasfilms has OFFICIALLY streamed these movies online for free? I've looked into the Blu Ray sets, but don't have the money to put down for those at the moment. It's been a long time since I've seen these movies, and I'd love to experience them again.

Should be on Netflix, unless they pulled it down.

I've never found them on Netflix. They just have the Clone Wars stuff, which I'm not interested in. : I'll have to check again, though.

type in just "star wars." I read somewhere that they have the complete saga. If not, then we have a problem.

They don't, just Clone Wars. : I'm surprised that there isn't an official stream for the Star Wars movies, considering how huge they are in the history of film.

Buy them on Blu-ray? According to GL the latest version is the most canon.

Might help to read what I said in the post... Also, I'd prefer to have an older version, but accepted that those are near impossible to find these days.

Haha, people do that to me to all the time. At least I'll respond to you pointing that out though.

ehhh from what I've heard the newer versions are heavily edited. I would stick with vhs if you can find them. Though I personally have always had them on dvd.

But they're more canon!

But they're more canon!

They don't add whole new scenes or anything. Just more minuscule changes, like changing Anakin's ghost in VI to the way he appeared in III(a change that I absolutely hate).

You can have that opinion, but the director says the Blu-ray version is the most canon.

You could try renting from somewhere (if anything like that is still open in your region).

Does Redbox have them? I thought they only had more recent movies. I haven't checked Redbox Instant though, so I'll have to check there. Thanks!
