July 8, 201411 yr I believe the official description said what they'd be up to "In an effort to undermine Xehanort’s plot, Sora, Donald and Goofy search for seven guardians of light and the “Key to Return Hearts,” while King Mickey and Riku search for previous Keyblade wielders." Since Sora is looking for the seven lights, I'd assume that means previous protagonists while Riku and Mickey search for Keyblade Wielders new to the series (new original characters). Their stories will probably be parallel in the beginning, hopefully new branches featuring different playable characters will become available as you progress
July 8, 201411 yr Author Well, technically, it's Riku/Mickey's journey were talking about. EX: Riku and King Mickey goes to all the worlds (esp. Frozen world/Arendelle) to help out Disney characters (including Elsa or Anna). They could go to the realm of darkness and Castle Oblivion to find Aqua and Ventus so they could be recruited to find Terra. Then, After finding Terra, they'll find Kairi, Lea, Sora, Donald and Goofy to defeat Master Xehanort and his true Organization XIII.

July 10, 201411 yr I have a feeling that Kairi will be the person who finds Aqua, since they have some sort of connection from the events of BBS. Riku and Mickey will probably go with her to protect her, plus Mickey has met Aqua so he could help locating her too... Sending a novice to the Realm of Darkness would be a bad idea, but at least Kairi is a Princess of Heart, so the Realm of Darkness couldn't corrupt her heart. Afterwards, Riku and Mickey might try and find a way to save Terra while Sora goes with Aqua to restore Ventus.

Sora will find the Key to Return Hearts with Donald and Goofy and Riku will find Terra, Ventus, Aqua and Eraqus with King Mickey.

July 16, 201411 yr Well, Sora and Co. would be going around looking for the Key to Return Hearts which would bring back Roxas, Ventus, and Xion. And Riku and Mickey would team up and try to find out about where in the world Terra is and find a way to retrieve Aqua, which is who i think will be the easiest person to find since all they need is Eraqus' keyblade. wait...is that list a total of 7 people excluding MIckey?!! But, besides your idea, I think it's a plausible option if Sora, Donald and Goofy search for seven Guardians of Light (new or old characters) and the "Key to Return Hearts" while Mickey and Riku search for the Foretellers that happened to be still alive and THEN, the crews reunite to search Aqua, Terra and Ventus all together sounds the most likely especially when u consider that hate throwing away charecters
