Fresh off the recent news about Battle Of Gods, we're getting YET ANOTHER new DragonBall Z movie next year; the production and development of this movie will be handled by the creator himself, Akira Toriyama, and due to a previous inverview with Toriyama, there might be a possibility of Vegeta being the main star of the show.

Even though i didnt watch dragon ball as a kid, i still like it and i will see this movie because it looks different than the other movie and episodes.Less screaming more fighting you know....

Maybe Bills? Whis did say he could die. But i don't see him being revived being a horrible wish, unless he tried to destroy Earth again.

Uh... The anime kinda ended years ago. All we've had since then are movies, and the only canon one was Battle of Gods. I've heard mixed views on BoG, but it looks fantastic to me. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm going to go see it in theaters in two weeks.

The Buu Saga was the last saga in the series. GT is completely noncanon, and Toriyama didn't even write it from what I understand. After Buu was defeated, the only thing that really matters story-wise is Battle of Gods, and this upcoming movie.

yeah it's been a long time since I saw a episode, I think I got turned away because if the games, every year there was a new game and so I stopped buying the games and watch the shows.

Don't let the games get you down, the story's still fantastic. The games might not be your things, but there's still always the manga or the anime! If you're ever interested, they're actually re-doing the show in HD and cutting the filler. It's called Dragon Ball Kai, and they're currently at the start of the Buu Saga from what I understand. It's a much nicer alternative than the original show (at least in my opinion).

Dragon Ball WAS dead for years. Of course, after gathering the Dragon Balls together, us fans could wish it back, and it's beautiful.

Technically it never died, since Japan kept it going even after the anime/manga with merchandise, video games and shit. But in terms of new anime or anything, yeah its been dead. But thank goodness that it is BACK once more.

It's coming to the USA in August (In theaters anyway, no word on when it's coming to Blu-Ray). The only reason it took so long to get an English release is because Fox had the rights to DBZ movies, and didn't want to do anything with Battle of Gods for some reason
