So the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 hd remix 358/2 days hd movie did a really good job I think. But I don't know if anyone else noticed how Xion couldn't make up her mind in this scene. If you pay attention she has her hood up and down. Did anyone else notice this when they watched it? It drived me crazy!

I believe that the hood being up is how Axel saw Xion at the time. We kept seeing how Axel and Roxas saw her.

To me it wasn't that she couldn't make up her mind. It was that that's how people saw her. Roxas saw her with her hood of, and Axel saw her with her hood on until they became friends, or more acquainted. l

I noticed that about her hood when I watched it way back when, assummed it was just a programming error but more than likely it's the above aforementioned depends on those who saw her.  Regardless though it still looked jumpy to flick like that with no obvious change in who's perspective we were getting, it was jarring to watch.  

That was just Axel's point of view alternating with Roxas'

That happened in the original DS game too, so it's definitely not a glitch. I think the accepted idea is that it was the difference between how Roxas and Axel saw her, seeing as everyone saw something different when looking at her (Xigbar saw her as Ven, for example).

it's because when roxas looks at xion he sees her face, but when Axel looks at her, she just sees her hood, it's not a glitch

I never noticed this in the DS game!

I always thought that two different teams animated the same scene. One team did it with the hood up, and the other did it with the hood off. Then nobody wanted to waste the effort so they spliced it together hoping nobody would notice.

Could seem a programming mistake but it actually happens because the point of view of the camera changes during the cutscene, so both Roxas and Axel's way to see Xion were mashed together (Xion appearance is different depending on who's watching her)
