A recent comment got me thinking about the KH series and its recent, current and future path. If you asked me 3 even 2 years ago if it would eventually end I would've screamed but I've been disenchanted with the series' recent direction and Im hoping on BBS in September and Im really counting on my efforts to avoid spoilers will pay off.

 

COM is old news but ReCOM was an unnecessary filler it stopped the Osaka team from working on BBS and thats why the series is nearly ten years old but its only genuinely progressed a minute bit lately.

 

I mean if KH 3D is just another COM, Days or Coded I'll probably loss faith, but since the 3DS is supposed to be as powerful as Xbox 1 which means it could have the same scope as the console versions and BBS, but what I really wanna see is KH3, but KH3D means that SE are gonna invest another year in it and another one (almost) localising it

I don't even think Tetsuya Nomura knows where the series is going.

I agree with you totally...COM, days and coded/recoded are in themselves meaningless. There is no real progression of the story, they only fill in certain gaps here and there.

Yeah, they really should have just released them straight away.

Remakes are pointless take too much time. Releasing them in the correct order would have been much much better.

Well I like re com and 358. They helped me understand the story more. So I don't think they're pointless. And I don't like kh 1, cause I don't know the whole story cause I can't get past agrabah. Kh 2 was a main part to me. Coded I think is just another pointless game. Bbs I am not sure about it. Its iffy for me. I just hope kh 3d and reconnect (possible name) are amazing

I doubt that Nourma knows where the series is going. I thought that KH 358/2 Days was a pretty good game and also it explained some major parts to the series. But I thought that KH CoM was pretty useless because of the stupid card system and also I think that instead of revealing the organization, they should've had all the organization members in KH2. Even though I can't predict the future or anything, I predict that KH 3DS will be pretty cool and the KH ReConnect (or some other title) will be awesome. And also if KH ReConnect is not KH3, then I predict that KH3 will also be awesome

In my opinion the only truly useless one is coded. About the entire point of the game could be explained in one cutscene. As for where the series is going, who knows?

Well Days and maybe Coded don't progress the story, my view is that Coded was very important to KH2's story. RE:CoM was developed during teh same time as KH2:FM+, so really it wasn

I agree with Aaron on the RE:COM and coded/recoded being meaningless.But I thought that days wasn't that meaningless at all,I mean,it cleared up a question or two of KH 2.At least for me it did.
