I can see a lot of the fanbase enjoy and love that particular world. But truthfully... I don't get it. I never really enjoyed seeing or playing through that world at all, not quite colourful or impacting when I visit the various other worlds in the series as a whole. Don't get me wrong, there are worser worlds out there, but when I first played through Traverse Town, I just thought it was long, pandering, needleesly complexed added during the release of KH3D, and most of all, boring.

 

I just don't get the love for it, that's all. Maybe it's because I played KH2 first and Hollow Bastion blew me away it made Traverse Town not as epic.

 

But when I play the games, surprisingly, Traverse Town is the one I seriously dread going to the most, the close second being Wonderland. I seriously believe it's overrated, but that's just me thought on the matter.

 

Does anyone else feel the same, or is there something I'm missing about the world that gets people liking it?

i really like traverse town.... the night atmosphere, the music, the boss too

even in DDD i liked the new places (not so much the dream eater fight )

 

 

you forgot about the disney cameos other then merlin and the fairy godmother, that is 101 Dalmatians house and lady and the tramp's fountain in the 3th district

It's not that I forgot them, but they're Disney chars, so they are a natural regular part of KH. Either way, I enjoyed their inclusions too now that you mention them. 

     Traverse Town is one of my favorite worlds. It's a safe haven (mostly) with calm music and a loving environment. It's a place I would actually like to live in. I'm also a night owl so the 24/7 nightfall wouldn't be a problem.

     In DDD, they really screwed it up by adding a gimmicky district just to adhere to the new gameplay. It was a dream, which is okay, I really hope they don't add the same district in KH3. If they add a Fourth District, make it similar to the other three. 

You can definitely do worse. Like, you can go to a world that is completely underwater and where you sing annoying songs with stupid fish and mermaids...
