Ok now, most (or none) of you know that i have been obsessed with Bravely Default as of late (and that's why my status were always about me talking about the game. and i even change my avi to show how much i love this game) and i heard about the bad and true endings of the game. so i decided to get the bad ending first then get the true ending.

 

 

But i found out that i have to be in chapter 5 to get the bad ending. and right now i'm in chapter 6, so i'm confuse :blink:  how do i get the bad ending? can i still get it? and how do i get the true ending?

 

 

 

 

This was something i felt that i could not put on some status, so i made a blog.

You can get the bad ending after chapter 5 in Bravely Default, not just chapter 5. To get the bad ending mash (and I mean mash, if you do it slowly it won't break) the x button when awakening any of the crystals and keep doing it, even after Airy tells you to stop.I would wait to get the ending for a bit, I haven't played the game in a few months, but I know around chapter 6 or 7, some of the characters start heavily hinting about something not being right, and implies you should break the crystals. I learned from experience doing it too early and it can lead to some potential spoilers. You'll know when you should do it.To get the true ending, just keep awakening the crystals for several more chapters, I think it goes to 8 chapters, so you awaken the crystals a total amount of twenty times.I also just now noticed that this is a few hours old, so you probably already googled it, but if you didn't, here you go  :lol:

You also have to beat all those Bloodrose Region guys, Sky Knights, and all the others in each chapter otherwise you won't get the true ending.

First if all I never tell my honest opinions on games until I beat the game, so what I wrote before was just me venting because I got upset at one part. 2nd as long as you do those two things to get the true ending you'll be fine so I'm going to say no because you destroy the Crystals which cause it to be the bad ending. So yeah you'll have to start all over.

I don't think you need to beat the optional boss fights to get the true ending. But they're awesome and you should try and do them anyway

Yup just chapters 5 through 8 will get you the true ending. Or you could do the Konami code to in lock it.
