So I recently found Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the PS3 in my collection, and decided to just play a few games. After screwing around with some not so serious titles (Kid Chameleon and Ecco the Dolphin!), I picked up Shining Force. Being a big Fire Emblem fan, I was immediately sucked into and addicted by this game. It's a strategy rpg, real simplistic storyline, basically, kill bad guys, get glory. But it's a lot of fun. I was just curious if anyone else here had ever even heard of this series.

I've heard the name, but other than that not familiar.

Good game, i give it 4/5

Does the PS2 action RPG attempted reboot Shining Force Neo count? If not, then no. And then I would say I only heard about the original series.

Only the first one that got remade for the GBA.
