Has it ever occurred to you that you are watching a movie, TV show, or reading a book and you see a character and think to yourself:

''Wow. This guy/gal is so, totally me!''

Sorry that i sounded like a valley girl in this bit

Anyway, this has just occurred to me today when i thought of some characteristics of two characters:

Xander Harris (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

Dr. Horrible (Dr. Horrible)

Has this ever happened to you? Comment below!

Yes, more often than not.

Should I dare even list all of them.

That's quite common for everyone xD

If there's a fictional character they like, a person will grasp at straws and look for any similarities between them and the character they like

"Most of the time I'm like (insert silent, mysterious, popular, strong, and/or good looking character) but sometimes I'm (insert friendly, outgoing, good looking, and/or awesome character)

We're who we are, but pretty much at one point in life a person will compare themselves to or try to act more like a fictional character they find endearing

I should know, I'm using Ruby Rose as my avatar for this site xP

There aren't a lot of fictional characters I feel like are a lot like me.  The only one I can see some of myself in is Sherlock Holmes.  But I'm not the most interesting person so this is probably a good thing xD

Why compare yourself to someone when you are just awesome being yourself?

It happens sometimes. Can't name any specific examples right now.
