(OKAY GUYS. Just a quick few things I forgot to mention. Please follow this rp so that y'all will know when a post is made, and also if someone doesn't post for a while just let that person know. On with the rp!)"I hope you all amuse me..."Roxas was already up in this fine morning in Asnia. Usually his brother woke up first, however the sounds of his father working always woke Roxas right up. He wanted to see the cool new weapons that were being made. He swung around downstairs, said hi to his mother, and ran right outside to greet his father at the forge. "Hey dad!"The father chuckled, and showed Roxas a rather fancy looking sword. "This here is made out of Orichalcum. Pretty deadly. Why don't you call your brother down to see?"Roxas chuckled, and slipped into the front door. "NERD-""Roxas!" The father scolded."...Ventus! Dad wants you to wake up and come downstairs!" he turned right back around. He expected Ventus to be up anyway... he did after all, put a spider on his pillow. If Roxas had a watch, he would check it. "I give it three seconds." he mused to himself.

Meanwhile, another page in a storybook was currently scrambling to get ready for his own day. This man was Corvo Attano. He was to adopt from an orphanage that day; and unfortunately he had just gotten back from a rather deadly contract he just completed. Escorting a messenger through a dungeon. How bad could it be? He currently was living in an inn, however for legal purposes he bought a little cottage like home next to the inn and some farmer and her magic student son. One of the maids was fixing him up."Corvo, you look like a mess."I know, I know." He ran a hand through his hair. "Look, I gotta go. See you soon.""Corvo!"He turned around. "What?"

The maid sighed. "You have blood on your face." The man sighed and just licked his thumb to wipe the blood off. He just then hurried out the door to go to the orphanage. He didn't want to be late.

Namine chuckled. "I'm glad you made lots of friends. And it's great to meet you, Scotsman."  But then she heard a twinkling sound.

She stayed silent as Kirby placed the shard on the table. "The shard..." she said. It had a red glow in the middle.

"Strange...this didn't happen before, right Kirby?" She then stood up and went to the door, and locked it.

She didn't want anybody come into the shop with a shard on the table. Especially because it was glowing.

Scotsman nods, then looks at the shard that Kirby presented.

"Odd.....that thingy is oddly familiar, but I don't know why in Earl's Glenn it's glowing like a reindeer's nose...."

He stood there, with his arms crossed looking at the shard puzzled.

Corvo raised an eyebrow. A dog? He never really saw much domesticated animals around these parts. Outside the front door was a little German Shepherd puppy in a little box with a ribbon around her neck. It barked and yipped, wanting to be picked up. Attached to the ribbon was a note. Corvo was still in the kitchen. "What is it?"

Silver basically froze in place. First of all who the hell was this kook and why does everyone want to learn magic? Why do people want him to teach them? After a few moments, he spoke.

"Speak slowly..." He muttered. "And quiet down! What dark Mage? How do you know?" He looked to Link as if asking for help.

Roxas was very okay with that idea. He was pretty bored too. "Fine. But hurry up! You're so slow." He needed to get outside too. Roxas always grew crazy when he stayed inside for too long. "We should spar later. I miss beating the crap out of you."

Once the two were leaving the house, Vanitas thought this to be a perfect opening for his plan. "Let's go. Don't mess this up." He cleared his throat, fixed his appearance, and ran up to a guard. "Help! Help!" He cried. The guard grumbled and asked him what was going on.

"I saw someone practicing black magic in the blacksmith's house!" He pointed to said house.

"Damnit... Boys I need some people with me!" He called two more guards and approached the house. Hopefully those twins didn't notice it.

Vanitas brushed himself off. "Ugh... I hate acting like a prissy two year old."

Delsin took a deep breath, and began. "Im the one who drew the fire symbol. When i did, some kids cought me. Later that night, i saw the kids in town and i went up to them to try and convince then not to turn me in. When i was walking up to them in the market, they were talking to a young girl who was selling them something. The item had a faint purple golw. I had read enough about magic to know it was enchanted, most likley by a black mage. I tried to keep the kids from buying it. One kid bought it, and his brother came up to me and introduced himself as ventus. He said thanks, and i asked him to keep an eye out for me. I know somebody evil cursed that object. On top of that, i have a meeting with the yound girl agian tonight. I dont know if shes the mage or not, but i know it could be trouble. I began searching for a way to learn magic, as a means of self defense."

Merlin and Akela soon find themselves fighting off the attackers in the street, with the sounds of growling, bashing, bonking of heads, and the dropping of unconscious bodies (they aren't dead)."We gave you all a warning! Now you all will be sorry!"

(Wrong RP dude LOL)

Skeleton greeted Namine, then looking at what Kirby put down.

"What is this, Kirby?" He asked.

Minato opened the door fully, picked the dog up, and started petting it. "It's a puppy. It was in a box, and it has a ribbon around its neck. It also has a note attached to the ribbon," he said to Corvo, as he took the ribbon off the dog, and read the note attached to it. (I know it's not much, but without knowing what the note says, this is all I can say, really.)

"Well I was just going home with Naomi, we've just been to the market, then I spotted you at this wall alone." Yu said to Miles, holding a hand out to help him up.

"Why are you sad?" Naomi asked abruptly.

"Naomi please don't be so rude." Yu replied.

Silver nodded and took a few moments to think. "So you're the one who painted that fire symbol. The guards are really upset about that by the way." He grinned at the thought of the scene earlier with the guard from yesterday yelling about the symbol on the wall. He then thought about the dark Mage. He didn't know any dark mages, especially in Asnia. "It sounds like it's cursed." He said with a shrug. "I'm busy with something already. But if this person is really a dark Mage I can't get into it in Asnia. Link knows a fire spell and I only know mostly telekinetic spells. I don't really think it's a good idea to fight this Mage with spells. The guards will kill you both. I might be able to enchant a small dagger though." He sighed. Why did he come to Asnia. And those twins he mentioned... "I don't think it's a good idea meeting the girl without an enchanted dagger at least."

Meanwhile the note Minato had read;

"Hey Corvo~!

I heard you finally adopted someone and I'm so happy for you! Here's a puppy for your new addition to your family. She's a pure bred and her mother is great at herding the sheeps. Be sure to take good care of her!

-Margie"

Corvo walked up to Minato and wiped his hand on his face. Great. "A dog." He just adopted Minato. He didn't need a baby to raise. That's basically what puppies are. Babies. At least it was a Chivian Shepherd (basically German Shepherd). "Margaret is a maid who works at the inn I used to stay at."

Delsin held out his hunting knife. "okay then. enchant this. Thank you." It wasn't what he was hoping for, but it was something at least. and knowing there was a practicing mage in the area gave him hope for the future. Once it was done, Del said his apologies and thank yous, and left. he went to his room. he needed to prepare.

~Link Baxter~ "There's a Dark Mage here? They could be anyone...." Link muttered to himself. The surprise guest seemed trustworthy enough, honest at least. Even if he planned to betray Link and Silver, he didn't look strong enough to get too far. Wait, the symbol Miles was looking at last night, painted by this guy? Hmm. "Silver, if this guy is right, then we're all in trouble here.~Miles Thompson~ "No, it's alright," Miles told Yu. he looked at Naomi and simply said "No worries, I'm sure it'll all work itself out!" Miles started to think that he was overreacting anyways. Link was his friend, and had no reason to say what he did. "Help! Help!" A loud cry was heard. Miles looked towards Yu, and began dashing towards the sound, hoping Yu would follow. A gathering of the guards had occured, surrounding a boy with black hair. "I saw someone practicing black magic in the blacksmith's house!" He shouted and pointed towards the nearby house. After the guards walked away towards the house, the black haired boy got up and walked away like nothing happened. "Hm, somethings not right here."~Dawn Estheim~ "It's a shame you have to do something like that to get their attention." Dawn commented, although she was slightly entertained by the sissy Vanitas.

Delsin sat down on his bed. he was scared. so much had happened in less than a day. but he couldn't just skip town. his conscience wouldn't let him. there were potentially lives at stake. but then again, so was his. so many people knew he was a vandal. any minute guards could bust in and arrest him. and now someone with dark magic was gunning for him. he didn't know if he would make it to see tomorrow. but even with the fear of death within him, he knew what he had to do. he sheathed his newly enchanted knife, and strapped it to his belt. he stood up, took a deep breath, and left the inn, for what could be the last time. It was still day time, so he knew the girl wouldn't be at the market. but he had something to do first. he needed to find Ventus.

Edited by TheGuide

As Ventus headed to town with Roxas, he noticed some guards entering their house. "H-Hey! Roxas, look!" he said, as he held his brother's arm.

"Why are those guards entering our house?!" He glared at Roxas. "What did you do this time?"

Scotsman stands in the background as he observes the shard, interested in the object and especially what was making it glow.

"I saw one of those somewhere nearby....these peppy wee ladies were tryin' to snag it out of a tree, but they couldn't reach it..."

Delsin dashed down the street towards Ventus and his brothers house. as he came around the bend, he saw the two boys. "Hey, Ventus!" He yelled, but then he saw the the boys house, which was being entered by guards. He slowed to a walk and came up behind the twins. "is everything alright? whats happened?"

Kirby looked at Skeleton as he asked him what the shard was. Kirby simply shrugged at him. He looked back at the Scotsman with a raised eyebrow. After a while, the red flashing had stopped. What in the world was that? It never did that before...Odd. What the Scotsman said stuck with Kirby, and he scratched his head. Was the red light some kind of warning? He shook his head as he came out of his questioning.

He sighed and stood up from the table, sort of glad it was over. He took the shard and put it back in his pocket. He then took out the coins Skeleton gave him and counted them. He wanted to go and get everyone something to munch on from the market.

He looked at them as if to ask them what they wanted.

He knew what he was going to get. A big red tomato. And who knows? Maybe he'll come across his other friends. He smiled at Namine, Skelly, and the Scotsman.

Vanitus rolled his eyes at the stupid guards. So easily fooled. He looked over to Dawn. "Yes... it IS a shame." he said. He watched the scene with the guards unfold. "I could have just attracted them by other means, but that would be too messy." he suddenly hissed; that man with the paint from earlier found the twins. "Great. The spick is back."Roxas' eyes widened. He knew he didn't do anything, however his mind kept going back to the charm he had in his room. He looked to Ventus. "I didn't do anything!" He just casted Delsin a look before immediately running to the guards. "Guys, help me!"The guards ran into the house. The father tried to fight them, but knew it was a bad idea."I can't find it!" one said."Check upstairs!" came another.Suddenly after a few minutes and when Roxas ran into the house, not even knowing if Ven and Delsin was behind them, the guard came from downstairs with the enchanted charm. "Dark magic..." he said. "Arrest both boys!""Stop!" the father yelled. He put his hand to his chest. "This charm is mine. I hid it in my boys' room. They had no idea about it." he lied.Meanwhile, Silver opened up his spell book and flipped through some pages. "Well, this mage might not be dark. If he is, I don't think he's strong. Dark mages rely on converting innocent souls to corrupted ones. We'll have to look into it though. Who knows who this mage is."

~Link Baxter~ "Well, we should still make the proper precautions! Is there someway to fight against the corruptions?" Link was curious. Maybe if something happens to him or Miles, they could fight it off and maybe get behind this whole ordeal.~Miles Thompson~ "Something isn't right here..." He noticed the two boys from last night standing over to the side. He raced to join them, wondering if Yu and Naomi were still close by."Roxas! Ventus! What's going on?" They ran into the house before he could get to them. He hoped they could still hear him.~Dawn Estheim~ She looked back to Vanitas, hoping things would go well."I think it's best if we get out of here. Don't want to get too caught up in this stuff."

"Delsin, come on!" said Ventus, following Roxas. The guards were everywhere. In the kitchen, upstairs, the forge.

"V-Ventus, Roxas!" cried the mother. "What is going on-- wait, Rick!"  "Dad! No!" Ventus couldn't believe it. Their dad took the blame on him.

"No..!"

Miles then came by. Ventus didn't even have the strength to talk.

"Ah. I see." said Namine. She herself had some coins too. "Okay! Let's all go to the market." Namine wanted something sweet, so she thought maybe a cupcake would be fine. She looked at Kirby. "Um.. Kirby, are you sure you want to take the shard with you? What if it starts to glow again?"

Edited by ventusluv006

Delsin didn't know what to do. he needed to help the boys! he ran into the house, passing ventus's brother. "Stop!" he yelled at the top of his lungs. "I know whats going on here. arrest me, not this family. if you arrest me, i can give you plenty of information on the dark charm, and whose been vandalizing the town." he didn't know if it would work, but he had to try. At least if he was arrested, they would be arresting someone who actually committed a crime.

( sorry if this messes up anybody's plans for their character, but since i don't control the guards, it wouldn't be right for me to have them do what i want them to.)

(Hey dude I was controlling the guards in the house. xD)

Vanitas nodded. "Yeah. Let's ditch this place." He suddenly growled. The stupid man was ruining their plan. "Dawn, we have to get this Delsin out of the picture. Now." He pondered for a moment. There was no spells he thought that could fix the situation. "Damnit... Damnit! I want to kill him right now...."

Silver nodded. "You're right. If you want I could try to get some more totems to help you learn magic. In the meantime I guess I can enchant your sword until them to give us some backup." He flipped some more pages. "Hm.... Magical wards..."

(Oh snap, my bad. should i void that last post?)
