so does anyone else have this problem

Posted

Like when i was really little I got ear infections very frequently, so much that once my eardrum busted. So like I had to take a ton of antibiotics and apparently that made my teeth permanently yellowish? Like did this happen to anyone else.

Err... No... Sorry...

Not me. I think you should ask your dentist what to do.This is KH13 not ask Yahoo

Depends on the antibiotic you took.

if you are concerned at the cosmetic appearance of your yellowing teeth due to antibiotics, speak with you Doctor and see if it is safe to consult an oral hygienist so they can help you whiten your teeth with some agents.

I hope you find the solution, all the best!

Human teeth are naturally in a range of hues from off-white to yellow, so maybe you're just unlucky in that respect. If you're really concerned about it, though, maybe try talking to a dentist or your primary care doctor? I've never heard of a correlation between antibiotics and teeth yellowing, so I don't really know.

Ew.

I would ask your dentist about this but I have heard of certain medications yellowing the teeth. Maybe it's time for a good cleaning.

I have no advice to give, but I will honestly say that I'm sorry this happened to you. :(
