"On the other hand, Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, a PlayStation 4 title is confirmed to be playable with a trailer but is absent from this line-up."
I'm sure there's some explanation as to why A Realm Reborn being absent from the list is completely different from Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV being absent, and no doubt someone will explain how in the comments, but I just wanted to cite it before someone else did- I'm not putting much stock on the statement myself but it does help
Now despite III and XV not appearing at TGS being the most likely scenario based on history, I'm doomed to repeat it as I get my hopes up yet again
I'm not expecting a 2015 release date or a playable demo- but I am expecting a trailer for one if not both of them
Call me an optimist, naïve, or even a fool like MasterXemnas does- no matter what logic dictates there's always some small part of me that believes the improbable will occur no matter what my brain argues is sensible, meaning my hopes are almost always crushed
But sometimes, just sometimes my blind faith is met by a trailer or some news, and it is those moments that make all the disappointments and letdowns worthwhile for me
