Hey, everyone, so I'm back with another question involving a game.

Thinking about getting a PS3 by the end of the year, so I can continue 1.5 finally as well as play 2.5 when it comes out. My bigger thing is, I do not have a TV at all, but will be staying with my grandparents a bit, and they have a standard television.

My question is this: should I wait to buy a PS3 until I can get an HD TV as well, or would I be fine getting one just being able to use a standard TV?

You should get your HD TV first. That way you'll enjoy Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 in their full HD glory.

Yeah, get an HD TV first. It requires much more effort than getting a PS3, and depending on what you're looking for in other games, you may have more choices to make. If you get a HD 3D TV, you can play other games in 3D if they support it. But if you're pretty sure you'll be content with just an HD TV, then there are still lots of relatively affordable options that you can choose from. It'll feel a whole lot better having something to plug your newly bought PS3 into rather than having it sit there waiting for a screen to plug into. Trust me, the PS3 is a system meant for HD TVs, it'd sort of be incomplete without it.

it comes with component cables so it'll most likely be compatible with their tv.but with an HD TV you see more stuff in games better.

You don't have a HDTV? Go get one.

Thanks everyone! I may go with the TV first after all as well. Biggest issue is that getting them both at once will be more expensive for the budget I have -_-
