Hayato Date - Naruto's anime director - posted on his twitter that the current plan is for canon to resume after the ANBU arc. He also pointed out that there should be no more filler arcs for the remainder of this year.

My opinion on this: There may be no more filler arcs this year, however I think people should still expect "padded" canon episodes. If you don't know what I mean, look at episodes such as 330, 338, and 346. All of those episodes covered manga chapters, but they were "padded".

Ironically enough, I might be most excited for the episode about Yamato. We've seen a lot of Kakashi's past, and while I love seeing more of it, Yamato's a character I'd really like to learn more about. The others all sound excellent too, of course.

Didn't expect a whole special dedicated to Death Glare Yamato in this arc, but hey, we might as well grab some insight on the Hashirama cell-carrying ninja. I still hope we see some Itachi in this arc, tho. If there's one thing this arc should take advantage of, its showing Itachi as an Anbu BEFORE he went ax-crazy on his own clan. (Not saying he's pyschotic, but you know what I mean.)

WE'RE SCREWED AGAIN!!!!

 

EVERYTHING HAS BEEN GOING DOWN EVEN FURTHER!!!!

 

Team Taka and Orochimaru head towards where Sasuke is with Karin in the lead. She senses the person we saw in the last page of last week's chapter. Juugo keeps his suspicions in check, watching Orochimaru, thinking that he will try to take Sasuke's body again while Sasuke is in a bad state. But from Orochimaru's viewpoint, all he seems to be thinking about is Sasuke's Wind, wondering if his wind has stopped blowing.

 

Meanwhile, we get a comical scene between the members of Team Guy (RIP Neji). Guy's body won't simply keep up with his "youthful mind". They noticed that Gaara, Sakura, and Naruto are heading to where Kakashi is battling Black Zetsu. Seeing this, Guy gains even more youthful energy, including Lee to catch up with Kakashi. Tenten, however, wished that Neji didn't leave her alone with the duo.

 

Back to the seriousness, Madara is heading towards Kakashi's battle, and felt heavy, he spits out rikudou's ninja tools and decides they are worthless to him, and carries on feeling lighter and more badass.

 

Back to Team Guy, Guy had an odd feeling that something was approaching them, which turned out to the ninja tools that Madara got rid of, which went hurtling into duo's backs. Tenten then realizes what the tools are.

 

Finally after a good 5 or so chapters, we finally get back to Minato and Kakashi vs. Black Zetsu. Kakashi couldn't sense any consciousness from Obito, meaning he could be in a coma now. Minato was about to attack when Yin Kuruma tells him to go into Sensory mode, realizing that Naruto's Yang Kuruma has been extracted. Gaara and Sakura arrive and explain the situation, stating that Minato must transfer Yin Kurama into Naruto to keep him alive. We then go into flashbacks....

 

Minato and Kushina are conversing about Naruto, From the state of Kushina, early months of pregnancy. Kushina is concerned that with Minato away being Hokage, Naruto won't spend much time with him and ends up being all those things that we have seen Naruto back in the past. Kushina states that she knows this would happen, because she is his mother. Of course, Minato combats back saying that he won't die easy, because he is Naruto's father.

 

As the sealing got close to the end, Black Zetsu shows up out of nowhere, and extracts Kuruma out. Now, Minato is no longer Jinchiruki (forgive my spelling), and Naruto is still in the same state. Finally, Madara shows up in the battlefield, disappointed in Black Zetsu for making him come to the battlefield.

 

 

WE ARE STILL SCREWED!!!! But there's hope! Tenten's usefulness might rise by tenfold if she knows how to wield the Rikudou's tools. She may play an important role in the next couple chapters hopefully. And we still have no idea who the mysterious person is (I still say it's Kabuto). What do you think will happen in next week's chapter?

Is it bad that I read Tenten's lines in her usual Naruto SD way of speaking? The more comedic feeling of Team Gai's conversation felt too much like SD to me, especially the joke about Neji. Anyway, to be more serious... This is bad. REALLY bad. Minato's in a bad position, and can't get to Naruto to heal him... I have no clue how they'll manage to save Naruto at this rate. DAMMIT BLACK STAR, I FINISHED THE CHAPTER RIGHT THIS SECOND AND I WANTED FIRSTIES ON WHO GETS TO TALK ABOOT IT!!! DX... *sigh*... rage aside...HOLY CRAP, TEAM GAI IS RELEVANT AGAIN! lol Sorry, but both Lee and Tenten haven't done anything since they got KCM Cloaks and used the Rasengan and Gai hasn't been relevant since he used Daytime Tiger on Madara, so this was a great few moments for Team Gai imo. Even the Neji joke. lol Tenten must have regular migraines from hanging with those Bruce Lee-esque goofballs for so long... it's no wonder she's so undeveloped too, because these two hams take up all her time! xDOkay, enough Team Gai shiz, lets get serious: so the person who visited Sasuke is... still up in the air. Way to keep us on our toes, Kishi. Oro and Taka are rushing over to Sasuke's aid, with them sensing the mystery dude and wondering who he is, ala more hype. Madara makes his way over to Minato and Kakashi, spitting out the Sage tools on the way, and like a prick not even caring for it. Remember how Samui and her bro are stuck in the jar? They must be REALLY wanting to get the hell out of there. Hopefully Team Gai will do so for them since the jar and the tool just so happened to be spit by Madara in their direction, transitioning to Lee and Gai getting head smacked. LOL. Anyways, Gaara and Sakura make their way to Minato and Kakashi who are still fighting Black Zetsu/Obto. (Note: this means Poop Zetsu didn't take over Obito. Even tho it's obvs that its YAMATO.) Minato has a flashback with Kushina to hype up his importance as a father, blah blah blah, and then proceeds to seal (with one fricking hand. Screw you Haku! ) the Yin Side of Kurama into Naruto. In "ITS A TRAP" fashion, however, Black Zetsu firetrucks it up, stops the seal, even chats with Kurama for a few seconds, and leads us into Madara arriving on the scene. As i figured, i thought that they wouldn't have an easy time putting the Kyuubi back into Naruto WITH BLACK ZETSU RIGHT THERE! Seriously, did they just think he was gonna stand there and let Naruto be revived?

 

Also, im still curious who this figure approaching Sasuke is. I think it might be Hashirama, but who knows. : You know what'd be a real plot twist? IF IT WAS KUSHINA! I doubt it tho. Looking forward to next issue.

 The Gold and Silver brothers are in that jar that Madara spit out and they have some Nine Tails chakra. Team Gai is heading towards Naruto with them. If Madara suceeds in getting the Kyuubi away from them, they could try to extract the chakra from those 2, and give it to Naruto maybe.

Well, Minato with his infinite chakra due to being Edo Tensei could probably beat the crap out of them and take it by force. I mean, if his son's life is on the line, then he'd probably do anything to save him.
