Holy ship, some things I could make since of, and some I couldn't. But One thing's for sure. We know who started the Senju and Uchiha clans, and got to see what Rikudo Sennin, his mother, and his sons look like. And Naruto is possessed by the younger son's ghost. Obviously Madara is possessed by the elder son's ghosts, but what about Sasuke?

 

I want to make more of a better review, but this is complex. I need to rest up and reread this again a couple times tomorrow.

Now for that summary.

 

Gai VS Madara on hold. But in its place, Naruto meets Hagoromo. THE Hagoromo, the Sage of Six Paths. We get some Naruto-Hagoromo comic relief in the form of Naruto not able to understand Hagoromo's way of speaking at first, hardy har har, and then shit gets serious. Hagoromo tells Naruto his life story basically: His mom Kaguya ate the Chakra Fruit, and ended the wars in the ninja-less world at the time, yadda yadda yadda, and then she had two sons, Hagoromo and a brother, who fight the Juubi and seal it away into Hagoromo. Then Hagoromo has two kids named Ashura and Indra, who basically follow the same old "two brothers" formula we've seen in this series a bunch of times already, except of course this one starts the whole era of ninja to being with, as well as the "war" the shinobi world. Hagoromo then drops a bombshell on us and says Naruto is the reincarnation of Ashura, who of course had a similar past with Naruto, as did Indra with Sasuke. Does that mean Sasuke is Indra's reincarnation? Most likely but I don't want to jump the gun too quickly. Exciting ass chapter overall.

DAMN. If it wasnt for personal reasons not allowing me to read the chapter at release last night, i couldve gotten to the Tags. DAM.

 

 

That chapter was a bombshell, holy crap. That was incredible backstory and shat. I loved this chapter, Kishi's pulling out all the stops now. I get the feeling that Indra reincarnated into Sasuke honestly, rather than Madara.

 

I wasn't expecting the Naruto was the reincarnatedson of the Greatest Ninja in history part, i mean, i know Naruto's the main character, but that was kinda predictable. We don't have to make Naruto the "Child of Destiny" in every single respect you know Kishi? It was fine him being the son of the 4th and the jinchuuriki of the strongest tailed beast, but this is going a bit far with it. Nevertheless, it was still a nice plot twist.

 

Im liking where this backstory is going. Its just like the Hashirama Madara backstory, but cooler. Kishi's really trying to make the finale incredible, and i'm loving it. Technically this conversation arleady happened tho, since it was while Naruto was dying, and he's being revived by Obito at the moment.

Ask Kishi, he's the one who said it'll end this year, there's only 10 weeks after the 700 mark, really only 9 cause the last week will be holiday, so thats only 39. Not to mention, there's a good chance Kishi takes a few breaks before the year is over, so really, i think he'll end it at 700. I figure he'll take 20-25 more issues to finish the battle with Madara, then spend the next 9-4 issues wrapping up the business with after the war, Sasuke(and his crew)'s return and the current state of Konoha. Then we'll have the Sasuke Vs Naruto fight for the position of Hokage, and then the last chapter will probably be a longass huge Epilogue chapter, showing Naruto as Hokage, and the future of all the main characters, along with maybe some official pairings and the future generation.

 

 

Thats my guess. After that, one of the Big 3 will be finshed, with Bleach probably ending soon aswell(since they're in the final arc aswell as Naruto), leaving only One Piece.

 

Im hoping he does a 3rd Prequel Part about

Minato and Kushina

but otherwise, that he takes a break from Naruto for awhile. Maybe after awhile he should go back to it, but i think he deserves a long nice break once this finishes. I can't wait to see how the Anime adapts all of the new stuff the manga has in it after the Kakashi filler is over.

Sasuke's getting Rinnegan, but by the end of the series, Naruto's gonna end up having: Sage Mode, BEING THE 10 TAILED JINCHUURIKI(or that he somehow seperates the 10 tails again and regains Kurama again and even then he'll have full Kurama mode), and Rasenshuriken, WHICH WAS MADE SPECFIICALLY TO BE EFFECTIVE AGAINST SASUKE'S ELEMENT OF THUNDER(plus it can destroy the cells of a person's body that isnt Madara or Pain and can really kill them). Sure he probably won't use Sage mode due to its unusability right away, but im sure he'll use KCM/Sageof6paths mode if Sasuke uses his Rinnegan, which he will have to if he wants to beat Naruto. I'm sure by now Naruto will ravage Sasuke, the only thing that'll save Sasuke from dying in the battle(besides Naruto holding back) is the Rinnegan. They're gonna have an all out final battle for Hokage, since Sasuke is serious about changing the village, and its always been Naruto's dream, so i don't think he'll give it up that easy, even for Sasuke.

 

I honestly think Naruto will destroy Sasuke in the span of 10 or fewer Issues, seriously. Rinnegan's the only thing that'll make Sasuke a decent challenge so that he wont get massacred honestly. :|

Dude, if it was just 4 or 9 chapters of non stop action, it could stil be good, if its all action and little dialogue. You can fit alot in a single chapter, just look at last nights chapter.Besides the Anime will lengthen it and make it better, most likely. 

 

That said, i hope its 9 chapters, since it'd make more sense. Besides, its ending this year anyway, at best, there are 9 chapters after the 700 mark IF KISHI TAKES NO BREAKS IN BETWEEN. Thats still not much, plus im sure Kishi will tkae another break or 2 before the year is over, meaning less chapters. Plus, i don't think he'll go all the way to THE VERY END OF THE YEAR to end the series. : 

 

 

It's been a while since I stopped reading Naruto, but as I understood it:

 

Naruto loved Sakura, Sakura loved Sasuke, Sasuke loved power

 

Parallel to:

 

Obito loving Rin, Rin loving Kakashi, Kakashi loving strength

 

Also couples tend to fare poorly in Naruto- Kushina+Minato, Kurenai+Asuma, Tsunade+Dan, Yūgao+Hayate, Mikoto+Fugaku; unless you're Sakura's parents or are never specified there's an 80% chance one or both of you will not die of natural causes
