New character sheets for "The Last!"

 

In this Line-up, we have Ino, Shino, and Kiba joining the crew!

 

Ino

 

Ino's feminine features have been increased, esp. with her facial features. She no longer wears in a ponytail and drops her hair down. Her hair is nearly as long as Mei Terumi and Kushina Uzumaki.

 

 

Shino

 

The lonebug just got cooler and slick. He continues to wear the hood and his sunglasses, however, these sunglasses are sleek, modern-like and they cover the entire eye area, so good luck trying to see his eyes! Also, when he's not wearing a hood, he sports a bandana like Ibiki Morino. Basically, his cool factor got multiplied.

 

 

Kiba

 

If there is a award for "Most drastically changed appearance," I'm giving it to Kiba. His Wildman Features just got wilder. He now sports a Goatee, a slicked back hairstyle, and wild clothing. Hopefully, he will do something in the movie to compensate that idiotic bark at the moon. Strange that we don't see Akamaru in the sheet

THIS IS WHAT WE FREAKING NEEDED! Start out with a bang, (Which blew off the statue's heads again ) and begin the final phase, Taijutsu! And when did Naruto get good at Fuuinjutsu? I can't flipping believe Naruto tripped with a Great Rasagen in tow, which gave Sasuke an opportunity to land a continuous blow on Naruto as the former kicked Sasuke back. Then we get a full 2 page panel of the two duking it out which said to last all the way to evening (Time flew too quickly).

 

Sakura finally woke up from her Genjutsu, and she was informed of the situation from Kakashi, Hagaromo is no longer with them. Knowing their current state, I doubt they will go and stop the fight. Back to the battle, Naruto and Sasuke's fists were directly planted in tiring fashion towards the specific sections they wanted to wound back then. Naruto wanted to put a scratch on Sasuke's forehead, and Sasuke wanted to strike Naruto's heart. Yin Kurama gains chakra, but thanks to Sasuke's currently still working Rinnegan, Sasuke stole the chakra and converts it to Chidori, who gets ready to deliver the final blow as he says goodbye to Naruto, his only friend.

 

Mother of God, this had to be the most intense chapter I read so far. The Battle is drawing its conclusion. What do you think will happen?

Now, for the news. We have the official soundtrack cover of "The Last," And get ready for this one, cause it spells NARUHINA!!!

 

That's right! This cover finally shows Hinata in her full anime version of "The Last." And she finally ditched the coats to replace it with a combination of Tsunade and Kurenai's clothing. In the cover, Hinata is seen walking with Naruto in the fields. Interestingly, a tagline appeared somewhere on the interwebs, which is a real tagline, that states "The Last Story, The First Love." Gais, It's obvious, NaruHina will be explored at some point in the movie.

Anywhoo, my thoughts on 697:

 

 

TAAAAAIJUUUUUUUTSUUUUUU!!!

 

Now I'll admit: I was being "that guy" last week, thinking "oh, who cares if Naruto and Sasuke aren't using standard taijutsu, they're both on god level with Kurama and the new Susanoo armor shooting explosions at each other, we can't go back from here." But you know what? Past Firaga can shut the f*ck up because Current Firaga, me, thinks this chapter was AMAZAH! Simply amazah, I tell you, and it's only going to look even better when the anime adapts it! #Taijutsu #Intense #DBZLevelAction

 

Also, just to throw this into the conversation: people have been theorizing how Naruto got a banadanged up hand in The Last, and some of them think that its because Naruto is going to injure his hand by catching Sasuke's Chidori that he pulled out at the end of this chapter, either that, or Amaterasu, two theories that I can agree with.

 

 

As for the NaruHina poster... saw it coming. What more can I say?

With that moon symbol in the back, I think it has to be the incarnation of Hamura possibly. Also, he is linked to the original manga somehow. But we are giving a basic plotline of his role. He kidnapped Hanabi Hyuuga, so Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Sai, and Shikamaru were tasked to bring her back.

 

 

Sasuke's full outfit is finally revealed, unfortunately. . .

On the last note with Naruto news, we have a new cover for Volume 71. (Do not read the text in the spoilers if you have not caught up in the manga)

 

This cover features Team 7, with the title called "I Love You." This volume takes place from the beginning of the battle with Kaguya to the ending of the battle. This means the last volume which will be Volume 72, will wrap up the remaining chapters we have read so far.

 

Additional information and speculation from Saiyan Island.com reveals some hints about the plot involving the new character:

This character is teased to be linked to the original manga in some shape and form, however, his identity and that link is not revealed. What is revealed is this man has kidnapped Hanabi Hyuga, Hinata’s sister, and it’s up to Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Sai, and Shikamaru to bring her back home safely.

Two weeks ago, it was teased the moon was near collision with Earth and doomsday was near. Based on that and the reveal of this new mysterious character’s actions we can infer he has something to do with the impending doom.

Oh my God. Chapter 698 was a milestone. Sasuke, who has been an idiot so far, has finally expressed himself properly!! I'm so happy.... Really great and satisfactory chapter Welp, Naruto's bandaged arm mystery is solved

 

Holy Sh!t, a bunch of crazy stuff relating to manga and "The Last" occurred today! Unfortunately, I won't be able to go into detail, for my time right now is stretched so thin. So I will list the main points, and have our wonderful Sensei, Firaga, do the dirty work.

4. A book form of the movie will release on Dec. 8, two days after the movie releases.

 

5. Finally, a new trailer of "The Last" will be playing in Japanese theaters this Saturday!

I'm sort of speechless with this one. The end of the fight was great, there was a lot of nostalgia, and I loved how Sasuke finally sort of spilled the beans to Naruto. All in all, it was great.
