Ok. So I heard that there will be a sixth Naruto movie, BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED!

So, i read Issue 8 today and caught up with Gaiden.

So, there was the corny mushy stuff about Naruto basically telling Sarada, "It doesn't matter that Sakura's not your  biological mom, she's still your real mom because she cares for you." yada yada, and we got the sweet Part 1 Flashbacks from Naruto's POV on what it's like to build a family through connections and bonding rather than just blood relations. And then we got Sarada's flashbacks with Sakura on why Sasuke was never around, and she even pulled an Itachi on her with the "maybe next time" poke about what she thought was better than a kiss concerning Sasuke. (I'm still pretty sure she meant the Itachi Poke:

Poke > Kiss or Sex anyday)

 

And then we have the classic Naruto/Sasuke bickering which was always nice to see. Sakura's still arguing with Shin about what it means to reproduce and why his morals are dumb and what it's really like to be a parent, and it looks like some fighting's about to go down which is cool.

 

Oh and Sarada has the Sharingan now, but whatevs/shot.

 

Also, i'm gonna agree with Firaga on the "Karin is Sarada's Birth mom" BS. Why would she have a piece of her own hair on her desk if she's gone conveniently there? If it's anyones, it would be Sasuke probably, and of course that'd be a match for Sarada. But since its a manga and it's black and white, we can't tell for awhile i guess. Curse you Manga colors for stopping us from seeing the truth!

Oh well. Kishimoto confirmed it was gonna be one volume anyways. I assume two more chapters, or one chapter depending on what happens this week if the scans come out on Thursday. Better be longer than 20 pages.

A little off topic, but does Kurama ever get a human form?

 

The say that the Kitsune or Fox Spirits can usually take on human a form  :blink:  ...but I've read through all 700 chapters and I've never seen his human form

Nope, he always remains as a fox

 

 

Although when Kushina appeared in Naruto's mind (When he was trying to take control of Kurama), Naruto thought she was Kurama's human form

Well that wrapped up quite nicely. I admit it did feel a little rushed, but there wasn't anything else that I wanted to happen instead, so I can't really complain. Also, seeing slim Choji was funny, if only because it finally put an end to Chouchou's schtick. Also, seeing Kabuto was surprising.

 

Oh yeah and EVERYBODY WHO THOUGHT THAT SAKURA WASN'T THE REAL MOTHER CAN SUCK IT. I KNEW THIS SHIT RIGHT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!

As short as the series was, I really enjoyed reading it. I was surprised that Sarada turned out to be the main character of it, but she actually seemed really cool. I'm kind of curious if Shin (Or the Shin army I guess) will come back up in the Boruto movie, but I guess we'll have to wait and see for that one. I'm kind of sad that this seems to be the end until the new movie (Well, aside from those novels I guess), but I trust that the Boruto movie will be a great conclusion to the series.

 

Also, that Kabuto... I didn't think he'd be back in the Leaf helping children after all his crimes, but whatever.

Kabuto's dream came true: plenty of Sharingans for him to study and molest /shot

 

Can be anything to do with the series.

Obito is one of the best written characters in the series.

Sakura is one of the few characters that makes mistakes, like a real person. Whilst most characters don't seem to mess up.

Sai is super underrated and Shikamaru too.

Sasuke was great, until he pulled that stupid move at the end of the manga. That really annoyed me.

Team 7 had training from the Sannin fgs, who did Shikamaru's team get? Asuma who wasn't even that good...That was extremely unfair towards the other teams.

Danzo is utter trash

The scene where Sasuke killed Karin was hillarious.

No duh we talk about Shippuden. That doesn't mean none of us have seen or re-watch the first anime. Shippuden is just more relevant because it's still adapating the rest of the manga. The first anime is a completed product.
