Lavendar Town is life

Actually it's death

Dang I did not expect anything from live action Disney remakes

But it beats the animated Beauty & the Beast in like 70% of the fields in my opinion

Malificent was fantastic owo

Haven't watched the others though

So I can't say anything about those

Same Duck, I only ever saw Maleficent

 

This live action film definitely beats that one for me

 

I liked this one so much and I'm not a fan of the beauty and the beast story prior to this

 

It was always just yeah I'm a fan of Disney so I guess I like it

 

But this one for sure I loved it

 

I'll stay cynical though and assume the upcoming live action films won't compare

 

Go in expecting nothing and you'll love the movie like I did

Read Tale as Old As Time, though: it's a f^&ked up version of the story, with murder, magical girls, Belle is an enchantress, Belle's mom was THE Enchantress, insane asylums, unwanted herozing of Gaston, and a ton of violence and gore. 

Also, all the enchanted objects die.

The unnamed mermaid in the little mermaid can't kill the prince, so she commits suicide by diving into the ocean, and disolves into sea foam, becoming a "Daughter of The Air' who flies around the world for 300 years, before being allowed a soul. 

Sleeping Beauty is raped by the king, and wakes when her newborn son sucks on a finger, pulling out the spindle tip. The king's wife feeds the babies to an ogeress, kills Sleeping Beauty, and serves her corpse to the king in a stew.
