God bless Persona 5. This was the game I was waiting for. Never in my life have I needed something so much and never known until I received it.

I bought the game for my friend that got me into Persona but started playing it myself

 

12 hours and 2 minutes in now I just beat the first dungeon and am only like 12 days into the game or so

 

Pretty sure I'm on 4/20 but too tired to check

Is Persona 5 standalone?

As in do you need the previous entries to understand the story?

If not, I might pick it up one day

Or maybe I'll pick it up anyway

Didn't play it(nor do I plan to buy it) but from my experience with the Persona series, you don't really need to play the other games to understand the story.
