i know. i hear my fair share of jokes at the airport and the other guys in my flight meeting class *rolls eyes* dumb short jokes.

I wouldn't be so much worried about the jokes as the guys you hang out with, dear. I mean this in a very loving way, but you're quite innocent, and A LOT of people will seek to use that against you.

yeah i know that's what my aunt told me.... and my flight instructor. she said i need to toughen up a bit or brush up on my salty humor. but neither strike my fancy at the moment.

Hmmm...Ally is right. You should really be careful about the company you keep. Try to find a more wholesome crowd, if you can! That way you can focus better without that...distracting talk.

most of them are pretty good but they have their moments. Honestly, they are just there to look cool. and i like the older lady i sometimes see at EAA meetings. she's building her own plane!

she is! she introduced me to the person i like actually and she takes me flying every once in a while or quizzes me on planes and flying in general.

Hey man, I know its hard. You think the flight meetings are bad. Remember, I'm a theatre major. I've pretty much seen (and heard) it all! Generally speaking, the performing arts is pretty liberal when it comes to sexuality. XDX That's just part of the culture I've chosen to go into. But that doesn't mean that I have to be a part of that aspect of the profession as well.
