Day One

The Players all woke up simultaneously, finding themselves at the Scramble Crossing. As per the rules of the game, they were required to find a partner, and soon. Meanwhile, they were all sent the same text when the woke up:

"Mission: Go to 104. You have 2 hours. Fail and face erasure. -The Reapers"

As the Players read this message, a timer burned into their hands, counting down the time until their erasure...

Onritsu

Onritsu woke up in the middle of the street He rubbed his head, and tried to look around. What's going on...? Oh yeah... I'm in the Reaper's Games... I'm doomed... He thought to himself. "This looks like the Scramble Crossing... So I'm in Shibuya, then... At least I know where the heck I am." He muttered. I need a partner... But who would want to team up with a wimp like me? Suddenly, he received a text. He read it aloud, and was surprised when a timer burned itself into his hand. "Great... A time limit. There's no way I'll do this in time..."

Fuki

Fuki jumped off of the ground, eager to get moving. "Normally, I wouldn't be so energetic about all of this... But, I have to save her..." She spoke to herself. "Shibuya, right? This shouldn't be too bad. I know my way around here, at least. Now I just need a game partner." She ran through the streets, hoping to come across someone she could team up with. As she ran, she checked her phone, and read the mission to herself. After doing so, she felt a sharp pain in her palm, and quickly noticed a timer. "Great, they weren't kidding about the time limit."

Soul noticed a man followed by a girl, but what was more interesting was the choice of words. "I wonder if any other players have made it here yet...?"

"Wait for me." he told his partner, running over to Fuki.

He poked her nose.

"Can. You. Hear. Me."

Roi noticed Soul noticing the pair in question. "Wait for me," he said. "Like hell I'm doing that!" Roi exclaimed as he chased his partner.

Roi nearly tripped and faceplanted when he saw Soul poking the girl out of the blue. He caught up to Soul as he continued to... be Soul.

"Er, my apologies," Roi managed to say to Soul's target and he puled his partner back a bit. "This guy's a bit weird at times."

Aika blinked a few times before looking down at her hand. The timer was gone. She flipped her hand over, then looked up her arm, then her other hand, then her other arm, then inside her shirt, checking every place for any signs of the infamous timer. It was nowhere to be seen. Gone. Poof. Which meant- "(I'm safe?...I'm safe!)"Aika thought as her eyes gleamed happily, throwing her arms into the air as she started to jump up and down happily. If she could speak, she would squeal. She was starting to think that maybe this game wasn't as hard as she thought it would be. But then again she couldn't get ahead of herself. This was day one after all. Which meant six more days to go, and a lot can happen in six days alone. "(If I make it to the seventh day...would it mean that I get to live again? Or go to heaven? Or whatever?)"Aika thought as she got her hand in her pocket and felt the pins inside. They were there for the use of battle yet...it was all so strange. As real as all of this was. It was almost like a crazy dream that one would have after accidentally falling asleep in school or at home on the sofa. She quickly took out her phone and typed into it, only to show it to Onritsu as the message said, 'Thank you'.

Onritsu hoped that he wasn't blushing. Being the type of person who avoided social interaction, he wasn't exactly used to being thanked. Not to mention, with his sudden loss in self-confidence, hearing that he'd helped made him a lot happier than it would have in any other situation. "Heh... I wouldn't have been able to do it without you, either." He said, grinning. "So... Thank you, too."

Fuki was surprised to see a boy start to run over to her, and even more surprised that he poked her nose. "Yes, I hear you... And I can feel you." She answered, wondering why he needed to poke her nose of all things. However, she quickly remembered something important... "Wait. Are you a player, too?" She asked the boy. "Rokugo, I found another one!" She exclaimed to her partner, excited that she'd found a new potential ally. Just then, another boy ran up to her.

"I can tell that." Fuki laughed. "I'm guessing you're his partner, then? I'm Fuki, and this is my partner, Rokugo!" She introduced both herself and her partner enthusiastically.

"That's me," Roi sheepishly said to answer Fuki's question. He gave a small quick bow. "My name's Roi, and my compatriot here is Soul. I can't exactly say I'm happy to see more dead people, but I am glad to see that we aren't alone in this Game."

Soul laughed at Roi's blunder. He would never get used to this. "Hey, Soul here. I guess we all have a common goal." He shrugged cooly. He felt much comfortable in the prescence of a girl, which he always blamed on Yeul.

"So, what exactly do we need to do? If we don't have to fight each other, why don't we form a team?"

Aika smiled at his thanks. "(This game isn't as bad as I thought it would be! Then again...it's only the first day right?)"Aika thought. There were other teams too. But then she wondered, would all of them be able to go back if they all got to the end? She hoped so. "(I hope the other teams have an easy time reaching here.)"Aika thought. She paused and looked over at Onritsu for a moment. She took out her phone and quickly typed into it, showing the message which read, 'You do seem to know a lot about this game. Forgive me for asking. But have you played the reaper's game before?'.

Soul strolled over to the new team that arrived, to bored to wait for their answer. And partly because there was another girl there. In fact, she was the original person he saw on the first hour. He sped his pace, checking out her cellphone from behind her.

"Yeah.... so I guess you lost your voice. Well, I assume we're all here. Any other players will have to bribe us to join our exclusive team!" He yelled, hands dramatically raised in the air. "I have an idea. We all have specific powers, so if we team up, we'll blow through this in a breeze. Who agrees?"

Finally done with his outburst, he leaned towards the building. What a stressesful day. Soul wanted Yeul, not these people, and would happily play the game twice if they were together.

As Harmony searched around for clues, she heard an outburst from a loud person talking about special abilities. She moves her head to the direction of the sound and spotted a group of four people talking about the game. In excitement of knowing she and Gaku are not alone, she grabs Gaku's arm as he was pondering his next action to discuss his death.

"Hey! What's gotten into you!?" Gaku yelled as he was being dragged along with Harmony. "I found more players! I want to go talk to them!" Harmony responded. The two musical partners eventually reached to the group with Gaku bent over trying to catch his breath while Harmony stood strong in a cute manner. "Hiya guys! I assume you are players of the Reaper's Game as well? Because I overheard you guys talking about the Reaper's Games." Harmony said.

Fuki

Fuki was surprised by all of the other players that were suddenly approaching. "Nice to meet you, Roi!" She grinned at Soul's partner. She turned to answer Soul's question, but saw that he had already run off to speak with another team. "He's... A little impatient." She thought to herself. "Rokugo, Roi, let's go meet those two!"

Onritsu

Onritsu shook his head. "It's fine. I haven't played the Reaper's Game before... I guess I was just told a lot more than some other Players." He shrugged. "What I know is what the Reapers told me while I was entering the game." As he spoke with Aika, a few people approached the two. Oh, great... And they can talk, too... He sighed, and listened to them. He nodded in response to Soul's exclamation. "Y-yeah... I agree." He said. He turned to Harmony. "Y-yeah, we're in the Game..." He spoke quietly.

Aika turned to the group of people coming over. Oh yes, social interaction! Oh how she yearned for it! She was about to speak when she remembered she couldn't. Lightly frowning about the fact, since she would always let out a tune of happiness, she shook her head and smiled at the group. Quickly typing down a reaction to Soul's comment, she wrote down her message and shoved her phone in front of Soul's face. The message read: 'That actually sounds like a fantastic idea! That way no one has to die, and we can all go back to the world of the living faster! By the way, my name is Aika. As you've noticed I've lost my voice. Kind of a drag really, my fingers are starting to hurt even when I'm typing this down. :' ((((( I died after being pushed from the roof of my school. Nice to meet you!'. Aika smiled as she showed the message to Soul, Gaku and Harmony, even though the message itself seemed rather grim of how she added her cause of death. But the fact that she couldn't speak made her want to express as much as she could.

She turned to answer Soul's question, but saw that he had already run off to speak with another team. "He's... A little impatient." She thought to herself. "Rokugo, Roi, let's go meet those two!"

"Hmph... weird bunch," was all Rokugo cared to say as he followded Fuki over to the others. I wonder if any of these guys have some extra smokes on them? If they do, then we'll get along just fine, Rokugo snarked to himself.

  • 3 weeks later...

Cera looked at her hand, 104 still embossed. "Yes..... let's go."

She tried to set off with a brisk walk, but could barely walk in the first place. Closing her eyes, she coughed twice, before proceeding forward. Of course, Cera remembered, her health was worse than ever. Struggling toward her partner, she leaned onto him.

"Do you mind carrying me for now?"

Edited by Soul Eater Evans

Tsyuki felt cera come up behind him. She was looking worse than ever. He knew cera's story, and if she was ever gonna be able to see her brother agian, she needed to make it through this. When she asked him if he would carry her, he gladly obliged. He smiled for her. "Sure cera." He knelt down, and put her arm around his shoulder. "1....2...3...hup" He grabbed her behind the knees and back, and held her in his arms as she hung off his neck. once that was all sorted out, he started off to 104.

Soul lazily looked around the streets, waiting for any kind of action. His melancholic urges were strong, and he needed something to get his mind off of it. "Roi, let's make a bet. If I can find one little sister like mine, I win 50 yen." Idling around, he started yelling towards the passerbys, to no avail. Looking towards the adjacent street, he noticed a frail girl being carried toward them. "I think he's coming towards us..."

Meanwhile, Cera enjoyed the wind as Tsyuki ran across the streets. She had never been able to run in her life, and savored the feeling. Feeling her mark fade, she poked Tsyuki's head. "We're getting near, over there!" She noticed a silver haired boy state at her as they approached the building. What was more surprising, however, was the group of teens together behind him.

"Hello.... are you all... Dead too?"

Tsyuki slowed to a stop as cera pointed to where the others were standing. "Huh. looks like we've come to the right place." he approached two boys, one of which was looking at them. Cera broke the silence with a question.
