Okay, you know that cliché where there is a very famous franchise, and it turns out that that the creator didn't actually come up with the idea himself, but he stole it from a friend and he (the creator) is making millions of dollars off of the idea and the friend doesn't get any credit?

 

I'm kind of getting paranoid about sharing my ideas with people right now, because of this cliché. 

 

When, and who should i share my ideas with?                    

 

 

Share it with me and I guarantee I will make millions off you

Rule nr 1) NOT on the internet!

You best email your finished project to yourself and get it patented.

Then sell it and make money off it.

Honestly the hard part is getting people to notice and care about what you're doing, period. If you want to be selective about who to share your ideas with, you can at least rely on emails or whatever sent to a group of people you trust. But if you're going to be pursuing a creative path, one of the worst things you could do is keeping your ideas all to yourself.
