im looking for a game that could be beaten over night. i want to invite my friend to sleep over at my house and just play a game from start to finish. we dont have to 100% the game but we would like to beat it. symphony of the night seems like a good choice but i figured id ask for others before i pull the trigger. im looking for a fairly short game. not as short as kirby's dream land tho. something that i could beat with my friend within 1 day of playing. do you guys know of any good games that me and my friend could beat in 1 day (it doesent have to be multiplayer) or is symphony of the night a good choice?

Metal Gear Solid is very short if you skip all the cutscenes/convos.

And yes, SotN is a very good choice.

Edit: Wait, are you talking about 24 hours or just the night?

That broadens the list of games by a lot.

You could beat God of War 2 or any of the GoW psp (now remastered) games within 1 day.

Portal (the first one) and/or Super Moustache King Adventure

Can't go wrong with Symphony of the Night, but you could also play:

Most 2D and 3D Mario games, they can be beaten very quickly

Sonic 1,2,3&Knuckles,4 Episode 1 and Episode 2,Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations are all very Short games(Sonic 1 and 2 can be challenging though if you're not used to play Sonic games)

If you guy like a challenge there's Classic Mega Man and the Mega Man X games

Every Metroid and Castlevania game is pretty short if you know what you're doing, so you could probably beat any of those within a day easily.
