The day has finally come to investigate the strange goings on in Death City as well as to find Eibon's other inventions to make sure no one will use them for evil. Death the Kid as sent letters to those to who he needs for the investigation mission the day before, the letter say's "Hello meister, weapon or witch, if your reading this you have been chosen by Death the Kid to help in an important investigation mission that could very well be even most important than the mission to stop the Kishin's revival. Please come see me at the front of DWMA tomorrow morning at 8, not 7, 8!" & now Death the Kid is waiting at the front of DWMA for those he has chosen.

 

Kana had been up since 6am & had already eaten her breakfast & got herself ready to go to DWMA early. Kana said nothing to her parents as she walked out the door. Kana was now walking down a street full of people passing by, Kana was getting a bit annoyed with how many people were around. Kana started to run pass the people hoping she won't accidentally transform & hurt them, Kana ran into a near by alley trying to regain her breath & to get some space from all those people. Kana took a look to see if all or at least most of the people were out of the area so she could start heading towards DWMA again.

 

 

Juniper felt his eye burn as it was replaced. It felt as if his eye was being ripped right out of him as he stood. As soon as his eye was replaced, the pain stopped, but it brought a new feeling of power as flashes of knowledge rush into his mind. Whatever knowledge his new eye had was now being delivered throughout his body, the basics, of course, enough to know what he could possibly do, what the eye could allow him to do. Once it was all done, Juniper was able to open his eyes, showing off Maaba's eye within him. "This...belongs to Maaba..." Juniper muttered under his breath. "Juniper!" He looked down to see Tori and Beni looking up at him. "Are you alright?!" Beni asked. "I'm fine!" He held his head slightly. "Go meet up with Lord Death, he might need the help!" Juniper yelled, and the two obliged as they ran off. Juniper breathed before deciding that he would attempt to fight Madeus, if not another opponent got in the way of it. "Let's see how Madeus handles this." With that, Juniper flew into the middle of the city.

Melusine felt her entire body ache, as if she had been dropped into a bed of countless needles and all of them sticking into her at the same time. Her stomach felt the worst. She knelt down, gasping the dirt underneath as she let out ragged gasps. She opened her mouth, forcing her body to arch in hopes that something would come out of her. Maybe vomit, maybe a malign spirit, anything that was making her feel sick, but nothing came out. "What...is happening...to me...?" Melusine could barely spit out the words. The feeling was getting stronger, it was sufficating.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Hishin vs DWMA & Witches vs Madeus & Star*Clan

 

FINAL CHAPTER

 

At Death City. As Elliot, Faith, Void & Light were in slowly freezing to death Kana all of a sudden stopped & looked into the air seeing the Hishin hovering aboce the city "Hmm...So that's the soul I must eat is it?..." said Kana as she started to jumping off rooftops heading towards the Hishin leaving Elliot & the others be as if she had lost intrest in them. Meanwhile the other Kana had broken out from the Eibon invention 'Rebosa' landing right in front of a new Meister named Audrey & her weapon partner Melinda asking them both to eat her soul so they could gain control over their death weapon powers & Madness form powers at will. Meanwhile Yellow*Star made her move attacking Andreas & Nadia with quick speed she was in front of them pointing 1 finger at Andreas's forehead then Yellow*Star gave a small grin before saying "See ya" as she then gave a little push with her finger on his forehead soon a great force sent Andreas & Nadia flying away smashing through a wall "Well I guess I should show my true power too then. ANIMAL*STAR FORM: EXTINCTED*STAR!!!" yelled Blue*Star as he started to transform too. Blue*Star's body started to grow much bigger as he's muscles grew bigger & bigger, his hair grew longer, his star shape pupils grew bigger until they swallowed his whole eyes looking like his eyes are glowing bright Blue "Here I come Jack!!" yelled Blue*Star as he charged at Jasper & Awenia.

 

Meanwhile as the Hishin hovered she opened her mouth wide & quickly everyone that Death the Kid & Blair didn't save with their powers were being transformed into a pink little piece candy then flying straight into the Woman's mouth & this means that everyone else on the whole planet was turned into candy & was being eaten by the Hishin woman. Even Blair was sent flying into her mouth, but Madeus, Kana & Melusine weren't effected by her candy transformation spell. The Hishin's stomach grew ten times her size but when she was finished swallowing all the candy her stomach quickly started to go back to normal size as if she had already digested all the souls "Mmm, that was delicious. Know for a little bit of exercises. But who to play with first? Hmm...oh I forgot to introduce myself. to the new gen of children, you may call me Life since that so called husband of mine calls himself Death in this world of yours" said the Hishin.

 

Meanwhile Now that Luna & Juniper both have a Mabaa magic eye Juniper was heading after Madeus, Madeus could see that Juniper was coming towards her in the distance "Hmm...yet another witch wants to betray me...no matter. Melusine's soul should be giving me their true selves as I speak" said Madeus. Then Melusine threw up alot of black blood from her mouth which moved a bit away from her soon creating Melusine's, Jasper's, Luna's, Elliot's, Andreas's, Audrey's & Void's true selves that were deep inside their souls. Madeus gave a smile "Thanks to that Eibon invention 'Eyeasi' I was able to taint their Souls with part of my black blood which by now my black blood should have gathered enough of their powers to created their true selves that Melsuine has been holding within her this whole time HAHAHA!" laughed Madeus.   

After Andreas was sent smashing through the wall his soul wavelength spiked like crazy. There was a moment of cracking and all the broken bones from the crash were regenerated. He looked towards his brother.

"Go on Jasper! We got the behemoth!" He shouted. Then black blood started spraying out of Melusine's mouth. There wasn't much time before the black blood infected Jasper. This caused him to laugh uncontrollably.

"You realize that I already gave way to madness a long time ago." He now turned to the hovering woman. Awenia spoke

"Master. Don't reveal your power just yet."

"I know. I'll just toy with her a little." He replied and made his way forwards. His steeps made a strange sound at first in a matter of steps he was literally walking on air.

"Pardon me! But could you finally stand and show me if you're worth the effort!"

To say Audrey had absolutely no idea what was going on was the understatement of the year. Well, she knew what was going on, just not how it was happening. Such as a giant 'whatever' eating a lot of random people, and now a spirit was in front of them asking if they could 'eat' her soul to gain control over their madness and death weapon powers. Right.... And to think all she really wanted to do right now was crawl into a corner and try not to have a panic attack. But she didn't, because that's not what she was trained for, she was trained to combat any foe that held threat to the DWMA.

 

"Are you f*cking serious?" Melinda yelled. Audrey looked over to her weapon, no her friend. Her best friend. She inwardly cringed at her outburst, knowing that Melinda was a pessimist, she knew this was either going to go either really good, or incredibly bad. "Why the hell should we trust you? We don't even know you and the city's being attacked! How can we be sure that you're not just trying to trick us into rampaging in the city killing even more people!"

 

"I think we should do it." Audrey was probably surprised more than Melinda with what she just said. She thought it was extremely suspicious too, but something seemed off. When she looked in the spirit's eyes, she saw desperation, not malice.

 

"Wait, now are you f*cking serious? Did you not just hear all the points I just said?" Melinda was glaring at her, but Audrey could tell she was really just terrified, and knowing Melinda, it wasn't just for herself.

 

"This could be our only chance to gain enough power to actually help the DWMA without being killed almost immediately. That and I...trust her." Melinda was just giving her an incredulous look the entire time. "If you don't want to do it, I won't hold it against you, but I'm...I'm going to do it." Audrey could see that Melinda was on the verge of breaking down, trying extremely hard not lash out. Then, it looked as if she tried to swallow it, and she let out a worried, tired sigh.

 

"Fine," she whispered, and didn't meet Audrey's eyes. "But first," she said as she walked up to the spirit until she closed the gap between them. "You better explain what the actual f*ck is going on, or me and my meister aren't eating your soul anytime soon. Capiche?"

 

Audrey's eyes widened, and gave a slight smile at her back of Melinda's head. She was on board, and Audrey had a feeling this train was about to take off. She suddenly swayed however, and clutched her head. Audrey felt light-headed, as if something about her had just...changed. "This isn't the time to get a bad headache Audrey," she chided herself. She regained her posture before Melinda noticed, and tried to shake off the feeling that something incredibly bad had just happened. The slight swaying of her head just wouldn't stop.

Melusine watched in horror as the black blood that came out of her body started to form into mirror images of everyone that stood there, including herself. “No…no no…” Melusine whispered, begging for this all to be simply a nightmare. She was holding onto the last bit of sanity she had, but she was starting to lose it, and at a very fast pace. It doesn’t take infection to make a person mad, just the right amount of mental torture and pressure. This was much more than Melusine’s delicate mind could handle. “THIS CAN’T BE!!! I DON’T WANT TO KILL!!! I DON’T WANT TO BE KILLED!!! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?! WHY?! WHY?!” Melusine started to scream to the top of her lungs, tears escaping the edge of her eyes. The black blood Melusine stood up with a smirk. “Isn’t it time that you finally gave up?” It asked. Melusine looked up with a desperate look in her eyes. “Humanity hates witches. They hate the fact that we exist. It is by this pure fact that you were…that we were locked away, remember?” The black blood Melusine whispered, not lying, but simply twisting the truth to break Melusine. Melusine started to remember again. The way she was treated at the orphanage for being a witch. The way she was locked in the attic, fed only by the means of slipping a plate with food and water underneath the door, no contact with anyone whatsoever. Forced to stay inside and hidden in a crawl space while the rest of the children played and were eventually adopted one by one. It was hell. It was lonely. Why couldn’t she be like the rest of the children? Was she just that weird? Was she really that cursed? Maybe she should die. Maybe she should run away. That was all that haunted Melusine’s mind for the past years. For a long time they had vanished…but now they were back. “It’s no use to fight for humans that in the end will treat you the same way they had always have. They will turn their back on you and treat you like a monster the moment this is all over…you know as such. Despite how nice to act, despite how kind you are, they will always have doubt. They will always suspect. They wouldn’t think twice to put a knife to your neck were you to misbehave once…Melusine.” The black blood Melusine whispered before holding Melusine’s face. To Melusine’s eyes it wasn’t just a mirror image of black blood, it looked like someone else…someone extremely familiar…similar. The black blood Melusine smirked as she spoke to Melusine in a different voice, a deeper yet softer one. “Melusine honey,” It whispered, making Melusine’s eyes widen in horror. The black blood Melusine reflected someone she never got to meet, but that deep in her memories she did remember her warmth, and the way she loved her very much in the short time they were together; her mother, a witch like her, with long purple hair and gorgeous blue eyes whose color could match the sky. “Let’s go home.” Melusine’s mind snapped, memories flooding back before her eyes. When you witness something at a young age, you don’t really forget, the memories simply hide within the mind. Now these were returning. She remembered her mother hiding Melusine in a snake’s nest, asking the snakes to take Melusine somewhere away where she could be safe. Right before Melusine’s mother was taken by villagers and beaten to death. Melusine screamed at the top of her lungs, the tone blood curling and sharp as dark aura started to spread from Melusine; madness formed out of anger, fueled by the black blood that had infected her. She couldn’t fight it anymore.

 

“Take this!” Juniper screamed as he shot sharp feathers towards Madeus. He stood there with wide eyes as he saw Melusine fall into the madness. “No…” He whispered. She had fallen. By this point there was no turning back, he knew as much. That filled him with anger. “How…how DARE you!!!” Juniper screamed at Madeus. He waved his wand around him, moving it into a full circle as a circle of light was formed by the movement of the wand. “You’re the reason why we are so hated, why witches have been hunted down for generations without given a second chance. Were us to fight back against the people, we would justify to be murderers, and the only choice left was to let us do whatever they wished! Kill us like rats and animals of cattle! I won’t let you get away, Madeus!” Juniper hissed as he pointed his wand right in the middle of the circle. “Pluma levavit!!!” He screamed, the circle shining brightly as sharp edges started to form from it, much like feathers. With a swift movement endless of golden, sharpened feathers were sent flying from the circle, all following in a trail at Madeus as their target.

 

Tori and Beni managed to reach to Lord Death, but it appeared that one of the witches had already fallen into the madness. “Oh sh*t!” Beni cursed as Tori extended an arm in front of Tori. The black blood Melusine laughed as she started to surround Melusine, helping her stand. Melusine’s appearance changed ever so slightly. Her amber eyes were of a brighter color, almost yellow. The white of her eyes had turn black. Her veins were filled with black blood, and at the edges of her eyes thin black marks spread across. Her skin turned paler, her teeth sharper, much resembling one’s of a snake. “I...don’t want to die…” Melusine whispered, sobbing and hiccupping. Her tears were nothing but black blood as she looked over at the group with despair. “Therefor it means that I have to kill you all first!!!!”

 For a split second, Elliot was glad that the girl turned her attention away from them. However, when he turned his head, his heart skipped a beat as Death, Blair, and all the citizens were sucked into the woman's mouth. Being able to move again, Elliot looked from the roof to see chaos everywhere. Two witches, Madeus and Juniper were fighting, Blue*Star and Yellow*Star seem to unleash their most powerful form and was beginning to fight a couple of meisters and weapons, and...

 "Melusine!" The witch he greeted just this morning was emotionally unstable as her appearance started to change ever so slightly. Out of all the people who needed help, Elliot knew he had to calm Melusine down. Unfortunately, just as he was able to run toward her, black blood in the shape of himself appeared in front of him. 

 "You can't save her, Elliot, in fact, you can't save anyone." It taunted. Faith ran up to Elliot's side. "What are you saying?" 

 "Hmm, why don't you tell your partner what happened to your family?" The black blood said. Faith looked confused as she looked at Elliot who was silent the whole time. "Didn't you say your family moved to another country or something?"

 What's this? Luna reached toward her eye that was replaced with one of Mabaa's magic eye. Feeling a new sense of strong power, she was about assist the witch who was fighting Madeus but a figure made by black blood blocked her way.

"Move." She simply said. Yet the black blood Luna stayed still as it crossed her arms stubbornly. "You're going to help the academy aren't you? When they ruined your fun?" 

 Luna sighed as she walked past the figure, she had no time for such nonsense but the black blood persisted. "And what's going to happen after you help? You're still not allowed to harm humans or destroy buildings! What's the point in that?" The witch stopped, facing her other. "I admit, you're right about that but.." The black blood Luna cut her off. 

 "But, you can retain those glorious moments again," The figure pointed at the witch who was fighting Madeus. "Kill that witch and get the other Mabaa's eye, then you'll join with Maedus and I'm sure she will let you reign destruction over the city once again." Luna bit her lip and felt Boo tug at her socks. The offer is too good; together with Boo, they can go through those exciting times for probably forever. "..." Luna looked up at the sky looking directly at the witch who had the other Madaa's eye.

At Death City. As Juniper screamed shooting his sharp feathers towards Madeus, Madeus stood her ground dodging only a few of the sharp fathers as the rest cut parts of her body. Madeus then just stared at Junpier with a smirk on her face after feeling the good in Melusine start to fall "Oh my fellow witch" said Madeus looking at Juniper in the air "Did you really think you, DWMA or even lord Death had a chance against me? The moment I gained control over that Eibon invention "Eyeasi' I saw everything, tho you did however manage to make some changes to your futures which I did not foresee, but in the end my plan has come together just as I foresaw with the 'Eyeasi'. Melusine was destined to become the new me, the good inside her soul will soon vanish, she'll hate everyone even her friends, Would you like to know what happens to the rest of you?" said Madeus. Then Junpier shot his golden sharp feathers in anger at Madeus which Madeus quickly transformed her right arm into a black blood shield to block Juniper's attack, but the golden feathers went straight through the shield hitting Madeus all over her body. Madeus laid on the ground, her body was all cut up & her right arm was missing "HAHAHA, I guess your to angry to ask me so I'll just tell you...some will die, others fall to the madness & the rest...well, their ends aren't as friendly" said Madeus with a smile on her face.

 

Meanwhile Audrey & Melinda were talking the Kana that broke out of the Eibon invention 'Rebosa', Kana stood for a moment in silence showing little emotion before she began to speak "I will tell you. Some years ago I ran away from home & soon found a small town in the dessert, that's where I met my first friend, madeus. Madeus & I were trying hard to survive as street rats, then one day we met a star*clan member named Green*Star that Madeus said he's suppose to be dead. Lord Death soon arrived & fought Green*Star & that's then I died from a shot through the chest from one of lord Death's guns during their fight. That's when the good in Madeus's soul died as well, but now she's trying to reborn the world by having me eat the Hishin's soul. My body won't do as I say anymore now that it's replaced me with a new soul full of sorrow & black blood. Eating my soul is the only way you can not only help is world but me as well, please...I don't want this world to fall because of me." said Kana as a tear runs down her face. Just then Audrey's black blood true self was approaching them from behind whispering to it's self.

 

Meanwhile as Tori & Beni finally reached Death the Kid he was lying against a wall with Liz & Patty near him in their human forms. "H-hey, you two" said Kid to Tori & Beni "I'm afraid I can't fight anymore, but Liz & Patty are still able to. Please take them & help the others out, Since your both tagged with my Death god soul seal you should be able to use soul resonance with Liz & Patty creating powerful shots" said Kid as he coughed a bit "Don't over do it Kid, just rest for now" said Liz "YEAH! WE'LL KICK THEM IN THEIR BUTTS!" yelled Patty as they both then transformed into their weapon forms, Liz landing in Tori's hands & Patty landing in Beni's hands.

 

Meanwhile Jasper & Awenia were walking on air staring at the Hishin woman ready to fight "Oh my, how can you speak to me in such a rude manner my dear boy. Now then, is it just the 3 of you?" said Life as she saw behind Jasper that Kana was hovering in the air too about the same distance as jasper was from the Hishin. Then Jasper's black blood true self also appeared by walking on the air to Jasper's left side staring at him whispering. Meanwhile after Andreas called Blue*Star a behemoth Blue*Star stopped in his tracks "Oh! So you think you can take me & Yellow*Star do you kid?" said Blue*Star with his body now looking like Brolly from DBZ. Yellow*Star looked a bit surprised that Andreas "Wow, most men don't survive that attack. I was planning on killing you just to piss off your brother but now I REALLY want to kill you!" yelled Yellow*Star. Just then the black blood that Madeus infected Nadia with started to pull both herself & Andreas into madness. Yellow*Star then pointed her finger towards herself "Now, COME HERE!!" yelled Yellow*Star as a strong force started to pull Andreas & Nadia towards her with Blue*Star waiting to deliver a powerful attack on them both & to make matters worse Andreas's black blood true self showed up staring at Andreas & Nadia whispering. Meanwhile with Soul eaten by the Hishin Shelby had no weapon partner to use & Void & Light seem to be trying to regain their strength.

Audrey wasn't sure why she was crying. She didn't even know the girl, but when that single tear ran down her emotionless face, it was more than she could take. Which was actually a really bad sign in hindsight. So when she locked eyes with the spirit, she didn't give her a look of pity. She gave her a look of respect. Audrey wasn't sure what she would do in a situation as such as hers, but she knew darn well it wouldn't be offering strangers her soul. "If you really believe that this will make a difference," Audrey began, trying to find the right words,"I'll gladly fufill your wish." She tried to say it with as much dignity as she could. Her head turned to Melinda. "Was that enough, Mel?" When she didn't respond, Audrey's eyebrows furrowed. She gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "Mel?"

 

Her gaze wasn't meeting anything but the ground, and that's when it hit Audrey, she wasn't the only one affected by that last statement. Melinda suddenly brought her head back up. "Yeah," she started,"Yeah, I am. I've pretty much accepted you weren't going to back out of this." She looked to the spirit. "I think I get why you're doing this, and if Audrey believes you, well, I guess I have no choice but to believe you. So, I guess I'll gladly eat, wait no, that sounds threatening. Uh, devour? Ugh, no. Take your soul."

 

"Well isn't this heartwarming?" a voice giggled from behind them, causing both Audrey and Melinda to whirl around, only for their jaws to drop. Standing before them was no other than, Audrey. Well, it had the form of Audrey, but it was entirely black.

 

"Please tell me I'm not the only one who sees that, right? Please tell me I'm not." Audrey ignored Melinda's comment, and instead signaled her to transform. Thankfully she caught it, and a rapier landed gently in Audrey's hand.

 

Readying her battle stance, Audrey called out to the imposter. "Who are you?" The thing only giggled in reply.

 

"I'm you, silly"

 

"No you're not"

 

"Well, true. Of course I'm not you. I'm an improvement from you." And then it lunged for her her. It was quicker than Audrey had originally anticipated, and she barely had anytime to roll to the right.

 

"Really, becuase from what I see, there aren't any improvements," She scoffed, and she turned her head to the spirit. "If there's any way we can...digest you, I guess, without getting preferably stabbed, please do it!" She sidestepped, as the imposter threw a punch at her, but the arm started to change shape, and now took to the form of a blade. The thing threw a hook punch, and Audrey barely blocked it in time. What? she thought, not believing her eyes. Only one substance I know of can do that. Black blood, but this thing isn't...Oh great, we're f*cked. The two warriors broke apart, and the Black Blood changed it's other arm to a blade as well.

 

"Really now? Because if you haven't been paying attention, I'm dominanting you in combat at the moment. And," it said, running up close to clash blades with Audrey again, who was using all her might not to fall from the sheer weight,"as you will have soon to see, unlike you, I'm flawless. The Future Has Changed!

 

The Return Of Maka, Soul, Black*Star & Tsubaki

At Death City. Everyone was in a really bad position & it was only getting worse until Green*Star showed up right before Madeus "Not so fast Madeus! There is one more thing you couldn't foresee with the Eibon invention 'Eyeasi'...& that's me returning from the dead using my Dimension*Star style" said Green*Star as he then clapped his hand together yelling out "DIMENSION*STAR FORM: DARK HOLE WARP!!" & just like that all the black blood true self's of everyone excepted Melusine's (as shes fused with hers right now) where warped away into nothingness "& That's not all I've done Madeus" said Green*Star with a small smile on his face. Just right before a massive black blood snake was about to eat Juniper Maka come in swinging her partner Soul in his weapon form cutting the head off the snake saving Juniper "Juniper! Hurry & go help your friends defeat the Hishin I can take care of Madeus!" yelled Maka to Juniper. Just as Andreas & Nadia were about to be attacked by Blue*Star Black*Star stopped his punch with only his right hand while Tsubaki stopped Andreas & Nadia from being pulled by Yellow*Star's sun gravity pull "Hey! Andreas & Naida, just leave these 2 dying stars to me & Tsubaki while you take down that Hishin monster" said Black*Star to Andreas & Nadia.

 

The black blood that Madues infected Nadia with then quickly come out of her body heading to where Madeus is leaving Nadia completely cured of the black blood. Meanwhile the spirit of Kana was waiting for Audrey & Melinda to eat her soul that she held out in her hand. Tori now has Liz in her weapon form in his hands & Beni has Patty in her weapon form in his hands heading to where the Hishin is & Void & Light are also heading towards to where the Hishin is too. meanwhile Elliot & Faith where on a rooftop seeing everything thats happening & Luna & boo where about to fight their black blood true self until it was warped away & Jasper & Awenia were staring face to face with the Hishin herself & the Eishin Kana behind him. Madeus quickly form her body back together showing a really pissed off look on her face "So, Green*Star...You come from the heavens themselves to stop me. Let me send you back there" said Madeus as a black blood spear shot right through his heart from behind him. It was the piece of black blood that was inside Nadia that stabbed Green*Star "Hehe, you won't be coming back again" said Madeus as her black blood spear then covered his body melting him into her black blood. 

 

(Is Melusine the Hishin? I’m guessing she is. Tell me if I’m wrong and I’ll correct it.)

 

Juniper held his wand tightly, seeing Maka and Soul save him from the snake that almost ate him up. Had that snake ate him he would’ve most likely been drowned by the black blood and madness would’ve taken him too. “R…Right! Be careful!” Juniper said, spinning as he flew off away from the fight and torwards his new target, the Hishin. “Juniper!” Beni called, running right beneath him with Tori. “Guys! We have to take care of the Hishin!” Juniper yelled. “We know! Death lend us his weapons!” Tori yelled back. “Does this mean we will end up killing her, though?!” Beni asked. Juniper gritted his teeth. “It’s the least we can do now, isn’t it? Kill her…and free her.” Juniper murmured. Melusine sobbed, raising her arms as claws of aura began to form around her, the black blood around her turning into multiple snakes that would respond to her every move and order. “You guys are going to end up killing me…you’ll kill me like you killed mom…!!!” Melusine sobbed, screaming. “I’m not going to let you do any of that!” Tori and Beni began to shoot straight at Melusine, who jumped around, dodging the attacks faster than before. Juniper breathed and began to screech at Melusine, who in turn used her aura claws to protect herself, sending black blood snakes straight at him to try to bite him. Juniper dodged, flying around and away as he tried to outrun the snakes, Tori and Beni shooting relentlessly at Melusine, trying to get through the black blood to land a hit. Death City had become a battle ground, and the result would determine who would rule…who would live.
