The graphics in the final mix movie 358 days is much much better, anyone agree with me?

Ah, what?

If you mean the 358/2 Days HD Cinematic Story Videos looking a lot better than the DS then of course. H.a.n.d made 358/2 Days pretty poorly in terms of asset quality.

nothing to do with HAND, DS barely has any space, they had to compress it to make it fit at all

Ah, yes it does. Matrix Software managed to make HD assets during development of III and IV. Square Enix had no issues remastering III and IV in HD but they couldn't do so for 358/2 Days and Re:coded.

that... doesn't really have anything to do with the DS game though, it was as good as that could be. They didn't remaster Days or Coded because it'd take too long (and they wanted to focus on KH3), they said in multiple interviews

No, they said it would take the time it would take to remake it where III and IV they remastered them no problem with a small team.

First, the FFs were remastered incredibly lazily, so that's already not a very fair comparison, the textures in particular look awful

and

that small team could be helping make KH3 happen. That's why they just did cutscene movies. They COULD have remastered them, but it simply wasn't worth the time lost on KH3 versus the moeny gained from an HD remake on a single console that has already been replaced. Even then this really doens't have much to do with HAND at all.

And yet good old PC Master Race were happy with them and yet come XIII they're pissed as firetruck. III and IV look great now while the DS versions look like shit.

That small team is in the mobile division. Lol. And nah, they couldn't remaster it, they were pretty clear it would have required a remake.

The PC versions of III and IV look truly awful, but that's beside the point. At the end of the day saying HAND did a bad job with Days' assets is incredibly disrespectful and also completely wrong. They pushed the DS to its limits. The DS just had low limits.

It's not a Final Mix installment.

The DS may have had low limits, but that didn't stop the cut scenes from making an appearance in the game. And for the DS, they were rather decent. A good achievement.
