I can't belive that Assassin's Creed is still going after all these years. I really do like the series, but let's be honest people, Assassi's Creed has really lost its charm after Revaltions. The series really should have ended with AC: Revelations. Before AC3, AC has fantastic characters. You had Altiar who made a very good start to the series. He really helped kicked off to where AC was originally. He was badass, stealthy, and nothing like anyone has ever played as before. He felt completely fresh as a protagonist. Than came Assassin's Creed 2 where they introduced us to Ezio. That was when the series REALLY started to blow everyone's miinds. He proved to be even better than Altair, and ALtair was already a good enough character. Toe the moment when he was born, to when he became an assassin's, to when he found Altair's remains in the library of Masyaf. His story was truly breath taking and is the whole reason why he's one of my favorite video game protagonists of all time. He really had a tremendous story that truly felt emotional. And on top of that, you have the story (I mean mean the actual story from the first AC up to AC3). All that with the apple of Edin, the threat of the Earth being destroyed by a solar flare, and Desmond being the chosen hero who was destined to save the world. And than came Assassin's Creed 3. Boy did that game drop the ball of the series. Hard. Conner was seriously really uninteresting as a character. His character development was not all that great because all he really did throughout the whole game was trying to save his villiage. Heck, his entire story was just flat out uninteresting and full of garbage. Now as for Hatham, I'll admit he was a bit more interesting as a character. But I still didn't like him all that much because all he ever did was go to Boston, have a wife, and than suddenly join u with the Templars. As far as I'm concerned as a fan. The AC series really should have ended at Revelations. Because that was the last good AC game. You see? The huge difference between Ezio & Altair and COnner & Hatham was that Ezio and Altair actually fought for something. While Conner and Hatham just ran around doing whatever it is they wanted to do with no cause whatsoever. And now all that Ubisoft is doing with the series is milking it without even coming up with a good, and emotional story. They're just trying to get every cent out of the AC series as much as they can. It's a shame to see it turn into the next Call of Duty. The reason I don't buy the new AC games because I feel that it really should have ended at AC: revelations or 3.
