IGN's PS4 Review

I'm surprised that they're doing a review of this console now. I thought they had reviewed this console a year ago. But this video has further proved to me that not getting the PS4 on launch day was a good decision. Because to this day, the PS4 has no games that are worth getting a PS4 for atm. Hopefully, that will change once FF Type-0 HD and other games after that come around.

    PSN IS free. It's just that some multiplayer games require PlayStation Plus. It's up to the developer if their game requires it.

    Yeah they just updated their review probably for clicks and stuff. I haven't seen them do an updated review for either the Wii U or Xbox One though so can't say for sure if the PS4 was the only one to get the treatment.

     

    I look at this past year for the PS4 as a pretty meh launch year. My PS3 still suits me fine, any of the indie games they blabber on about I can get on Steam for cheaper and oh yeah I've enjoyed my Wii U immensely. I am however getting a PS4 this Christmas but that's partially because of Type-0 releasing in March.
