Hey guys, I just wanted to share something and ask for prayer/thoughts. My dad goes in for some surgery tomorrow at 3 for some guy issues he's been dealing with for a long time now. Its not too serious, but the doctors will have to go in through his abdomen to fix his issue. My dad is not in the best of health, so if you guys could pray for a successful/safe operation, I would be most grateful. Thanks.EDIT: My dad got out of surgery this evening and it was a success! He's in recovery now and doing fine. Unfortunately, he'll be staying at the hospital through Thanksgiving, but he should be home by Saturday. Thanks to all of you who prayed/thought of my dad!

but yea i would feel uncomfortable knowing someone is going to have metal things inside of him/her (in this case, your father). good luck to him, hope his operation goes smoothly

Alicia, I know these times can be difficult. Even though it's not too serious, seeing your loved ones in such bad condition is something that no one can bare. I will most definitely pray for your father daily, until he does make it through this.
