Absolutely devastated. I pre-ordered the CE from ShopTo Day 1. They used DPD to ship, day before release got an email DPD received the tracking number and were waiting to receive the parcel...only they never did. I contacted ShopTo about it, (and in the mean time, I was at least lucky enough to buy the normal Limited Edition as I wanted to play it really bad at that time), and after nearly a week of investigating, ShopTo have told me they can't locate my parcel, so they're offering me a refund...but I wanted the CE.Even more guttering because I originally ordered from the SE Store, but cancelled and switched to ShopTo, cause I buy most things games related from there, and doing so seems to have screwed me this time.

 

Just feel so hurt by this and it seems theres nothing I can do. Apart from paying over double for the CE on eBay, which is just terrible.

That sucks. D: I can understand why you're annoyed... Still, nothing you can do now. : /

That stinks! I recommend that in the future if there is ever a game only available from the developer store and a few other locations, you go straight from the developer, just to be safe. I usually use other sites too, but for something like this, it's too risky, and Square Enix will guarantee you get one even if something gets messed up. They put out a notice for people who received damaged Collector's editions to contact their customer service, and I believe they were replacing them, which means they had a reserve somewhere just in case.

Yeh why didn't you buy from Square if you can I think it was even cheaper there.

It was actually cheaper at ShopTo, as I had a Gold account, so it was £71 there. It shouldnt matter where I ordered from either way, maybe in future for "truly limited" products I will go for the manufacturers website if  thats an option.

I did just try contacting Square Enix to see about getting a replacement...and no. Apparently as somsone who pre-ordered the collectors edition and havent received it due to no fault of my own, I'm not entitled to a replacement from Square Enix, they're only for people who ordered from the website. Its just ridiculous and all I'm seeing is people on eBay owning 4/5 each and selling them for more than double. This type of stuff makes me hate humanity.
