A strange Darkness from another universe has reached our universe, and our world. The Darkness has been in our world for almost three years now. It keeps on spreading, and now it has spread to our country of Ryoshima. As it spreads throughout the villages, towns, and even cities, monsters and diseases are killing people. The sun will even disappear, when it gets dark enough.

 

The people that the Darkness kills soul's become one with the darkness as well, so the more we lose, the more they gain. Everybody has just about give up. Until some people decide to fight the darkness, and get their country back.

 

It will not be an easy journey, but the Gods and Godesses of light has sent us someone who will help us: Hikari (Hikari means light in japanese). This person is genderless, but appears to be female. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=5894378

 

But... as if to strike back, the Gods and Goddeses of Darkness also sent a person to support the darkness: Yami (Yami means darkness in japanese). This person is also genderless, but appears to be male.

 

 

 

SO. Let the story begin.

 

Oki sat on the floor, with a book right in front of him. It was closed. He had been sitting there almost all day, except to eat breakfast. His grandparents had gave him the book. But, he had all the books his grandparents had almost ten times. ...I'm sick of this. I want out of the place. Some people have to do SOMETHING about this. He got up. And walked towards the door.

 

His grandma looked at him. "Where are you going?" She asked.

 

"...Anywhere out of this place." He opened the door, and walked outside. The sky was a dark gray, even though it was only 12:00 PM. There was black and red mist everywhere. Some of the red, though, was just blood from travelers who got killed while passing by.

 

Right now there was currently no monsters.. but there were corpses laying about.. they could rise as undead any minute. Oki wasn't surprised his grandparents weren't following him.. they were just two cowards, afraid of the darkness. He took a deep breath, and took a step forward into the darkness...

"No, no, no!" Sophie screamed. How was it back? Why was it back? Who was that boy?" She backed away onto the last patch of uninfected meadow. Sophie glowered at the darkness creeping towards her. The fairytale meadow had looked beautiful, but now it looked like something out of a horror movie. 'No' She thought 'I am not going to let this destroy my home ever again!' Sophie tried to do the same thing she'd done in the woods to heal the forest to banish the darkness, but nothing happened. "Come on, please!" She begged herself. "Work!" Her arms were shaking as she madly tried to get the red fog to creep back. "Go AWAY!" Yet the darkness kept creeping closer and closer. She yanked up her sleeve, checking to see if her wolf tattoo was glowing. Instead, it wasn't there.

When Sophie fell on the ground, sleeping.. Oki caught her. "Sophie!" He said. Then he realized what he just did. "..." He hadn't felt that kind of... affection... in a while. (LoL, I've just noticed, my characters are like always the 'lover boi' of every RP I join. ) He noticed that Sophie had an unpleasant look on her face... "...Wake up..?" He said, not exactly expecting that would work though.

Azura watched as Sophie was uncounceous.She kneeled down."Sophie!Wake up!What happened to her?"Azura asked worried.She saw the expressions that Sophie was making on her face."Is she...dreaming?"Azura asks.Suddenly the forest starts to appear with creatures again."Oh great.They have the most wonderful timing don't they?"Azura asks as she gets ready to fight."Oki,watch over her and try to wake her up.I'll take care of this."Azura says as she starts to throw lighting at the creatures.Surprisingly,this ones actually feel the hit.

"...Okay." He picks Sophie's body up, and heads to safe place. Meanwhile, the monster that Azura hit was enraged. It turned towards Azura and charged toward her, knocking even huge trees into the air as it ran. It jumped high into the air, and landed sending a shockwave, creating an earthquake... which destroyed the forest even more. It screamed its terrifying scream and glared at Azura.

 

(Oh yeah. I'm THAT epic.)

Where!? Sophie moved back a step as the darkness crept even closer. Where is my tattoo? Does that mean I can't use my powers anymore? Just as the first of the red mist started to swirl around her, it was gone. She bolted upright, breathing hard. She didn't acknowledge King Fireball-Oki--she had to know it was still there. Sophie yanked up the sleeve of her shirt, and let out a breath she didn't know she was holding when she saw the tattoo, faintly glowing green. She relaxed slightly, and looked up at King Fireball-Oki. "What happened to me?" She looked around, and not seeing anyone, added. "And where's Azura?"

"...I think you fell asleep." He laid her down. "I... don't know where she went." He scratched his head. "I think she said she's fighting back the monsters," He said.

 

Suddenly, a divine white light shone down on the forest... making the monsters fade into darkness. They heard Hikari's voice, once again. "I have defeated the monsters for you... but Sophie. You are needed to restore the forest. Suddenly they saw her floating up in the sky. She smiled slightly at Sophie and said, "You just need to focus a bit more."

 

"..." Oki watched... of course, he didn't have the best idea what was going on, who this girl was, who that man of darkness was...

Azura glared the creature back.She charged in for an attack.She puts her hand up in the air and lighting starts to fall down.It hits the creaturebut the creature reacts by taking Azura and throwing her against the ground.Azura got up slowly and weakly."Man...what the heck IS this thing?!"Azura asked.The creatured roared again.Suddenly a light shone down.Azura covered her eyes.When she looks all the creatures,even the big one was destroyed.Then she heard a voice."That voice..."Azura says.She starts to run over Sophie's and Oki's direction."Sophie!Oki!"Azura yells.

Hikari disappears again...

 

Oki saw Azura run over to them... "Hm?" He asked. But then he looked at the forest... Agata Forest. It was so nice before, green grass and everything, the lake was so deep no one could see the bottom. But when the darkness spread... it had completely drained dry. And now... even the rest was destroyed. He sighed.

 

(BTW, as we go on Sophi cant just restore the land like that, no pun intended because she was supposed to heal it like this the first time, but in different places there will be different methods to restore them..)

"You guys OK?Sophie!You woke up!"Azura says.Azura then looked back.The forest,once again...destroyed.Azura sighs."I guess I made the creature way to mad didn't I?"Azura says laughing weakly."By the way,I swear I heard a wierd voice right after the creatures dissapeared.I couldn't exactly hear what it was saying though.Did you guys heard it?"Azura asks.

"Yea... we did actually. Who... who is that girl...?" He asked. "She seems to wanna help us..." He said out loud.

 

(Meh... I know that was a short post, couldn't think of anything else..)

Azura looked at him and tilted her head a little bit."Girl?What girl?"Azura asked.Azura thought really hard,then it hit her."Wait,Sophie.Is that the girl named Hikari that you've been looking for?"Azura asked.She was exited to know if that was her,cause if it was,then they might have a chance.

(I think we should wait for Sophie...)

Sophie nodded. "Yeah, Hikari. Ugh! I cannot BELIEVE she was just here! We've been looking everywhere, right, Azura!? And suddenly she just shows up out of nowhere..." Sophie sighed miserably. "I think she's a goddess. One of the ones who gifted us with these powers. She must have known we were looking for her, so why wouldn't she show up?" Azura nodded sadly. "Maybe there's a reason. Can you heal the forest?" "Yeah," She sighed again and stood. Her palms glowed faintly with comforting green-tinted light, but nothing happened. "Huh? Why's it not..." She trailed off, and a look of concentration came over her face. "Come on!" "You can't just heal it all the time," King Fireball-Oki interrupted. "Why not!?" Sophie protested. As the forest burned, it felt like she was burning, too. She could almost feel the little animals still left scurrying away in terror. The trees silently falling until they slammed into the ground. "Because I think that's part of the reason we got our powers." He explained. "To heal everywhere from darkness. But I don't think it can all be done wiht your powers." He explained, and Sophie jaw dropped. "WHAT!? How could we get this just to fix the woods up!?" Azura shook her head. "I don't think that's what he means. That's part of the mission, I think, but not the main point." "But that still doesn't answer the question," Sophie looked up at the deep red sky. "What are our powers for? What IS the mission?"

Azura holds her head as she was starting to get a headache from all of this.She looks at Oki and Sophie."I think our mission is to fight against darkness around different places.To minimize the darkness population in different areas and villeges.To eliminate the darkness.To stop it from spreading.I think that's our mission."Azura explained."Oh great.All this analizing got me a headache."Azura says as she sits down."So?What do you think?"Azura asks.

kijoko keep walking ther the villega he made it to the center of the place it was a wide open space ther he stood tehr looking how they had made it soo the houses surround it like a rind...what's this a place for chating or somthing like that i wonder. he took a step and under his feet he cold feel somthign moving fast he took anotehr step and some monster's came up he moved out of the way and kicked it detorying it he was making his way to the middle of the place to se what would hapen it was getting dark as he tok step's

"Hmm," Sophie nodded slowly. "Alright. That's a good theory. I think you're right, Azura. But that still doesn't explain why Hikari won't show up when we're looking for her. I mean, the only reason we even hiked all the way out here was to find her. And she just magically shows up to tell me to focus. She's a GODDESS! She's way more powerful than us! The name Hikari... means 'light', doesn't it? Light illuminates darkness--it destroys it. So why can't SHE just do it? She said the power of the 'gods and goddesses'. Why US? I mean, we weren't rich, we weren't very special. I wasn't planning to be rich or famous or anything special. Why not them do it? Or, if they're too lazy, why not have some martial arts expert. What I'm trying to say...why are WE doing their dirty work? Why can't they just do it themselves?"

Oki looked at her. "I think... the darkness is draining their powers. They're not lazy, they just... they can't do it. I mean, I think we have a special gift inside of us... the darkness can't get to us. I think that's why we have to do it. So we can either back down and let the Darkness rampage our home... or we can step up to the plate and do something about it. Plus, the faith in the Gods is getting weaker these days. That's probably another reason why they can't use their power to help us."

kijoko keep walking he made it to the middel he felt something under him it was moving fat but he couldnt tell teh size of it he felt it about to come up he jumped up in the air as soon as he poped up he was abouv the hight of the water fall and it just keep coming up..danm this thing is hug.. wait that's the thign from befor.it keep trying ot eat him rom in the air the moved but his clouth's got riped h blocked on of the other time then jumped on it's bck but it moved and sent him flying down fast tehn he jumped of an landed on teh gournd and another one came up ..he had frined's huh .he jumped up agian when he did he could see the three peoply befor laying there talking about osmehting but he moved againwhen he was w=falling back down another one came up up of the gournd hee spon around and kicked it but it cloused it's mouth and he clashed wtih it's teeth...this thing's are hug ..how many are they

"I agree with Oki.The god and godesses are the most powerful beings in the universe.If they wanted to,they would have turned us into fish already.If they gave us their powers like that,they must be in deep trouble.And with that,we should help.Agreeed?"Azura asks putting her hand in the middle.

Sophie started to say something, but then thought better of it. King Fireball-Oki's idea may just be right. The Gods and Goddesses gained their powers from the faith those in the light had in them. If that faith was to fade, as it had when the country had been consumed by the darkness... then they would be powerless. They would be targets to the darkness, too. "That's why Hikari wouldn't show herself to us, Azura!" She blurted excitedly. "She knew we were searching. But the darkness here...the Gods and Goddesses aren't strong enought to resist it for long anymore. Then that means that they..." She shook her head. "Alright. I say we do something." She put her fist out, and motioned for King Fireball-Oki and Azura to do the same. "All for one, and one for all!"

"Yeah.But first,can we go to sleep?I've been awake for more than 24 hours,and the suns about to rise up again."Azura says as she looks at the horizon."Now if you escuse me."Azura says.She gets up in one of the remaning trees.She puuls the branches and moves the leaves until she can finally make a spot to rest."You should rest too.You can't fight if you're asleep.Nighty night."Azura says as she closes her eyes.

Yet... Oki didn't cooperate. He thought it looked embarrasing. () He looked away and started to walk into the forest as if he forgot what they were talking about. He made an orb of fire in his hand as he walked through the forest so he could see. He ignored them if they try to get him.. it was almost as if he was hypnotized by something.

Azura opened her eyes to see Oki walking away."Um,Oki.We're suppouse to stick together."Azura says.But Oki dosn't respond and keeps on walking.She gets a serious look on her face.She jumps off the tree and lands gracefully besides Sophie."Somethings not right."Azura whispers in Sophie's ear.

Sophie couldn't sleep. Not after what they now knew. She heard Azura snoring softly. How could she possibly sleep with thoughts like the ones bouncing around in Sophie's head? She glanced down, and saw King Fireball-Oki disappear through the trees. 'Where is he going?' She thought, surprised. Quietly and carefully, she slipped down through the branches, and fell the last few feet. She stumbled, and caught the trunk of the tree. Sophie couldn't see anything--it was pitch black. It was a dangerous, stupid idea, but she needed to see. 'Nature...' Sophie recalled. 'Animals are part of that, aren't they? No way I could summon a lion or something, but maybe some fireflies...' She felt silly calling out for them in her mind, but, slowly, there were greenish flickering lights all around her. They gathered, and filled in her palms. Sophie whispered excitedly to herself. "This is so cool!" She started after King Fireball-Oki.

kijoko jumped back he was near a tower it was like a church tower he looked at it....danm i have to move now if i can just get a little higher one of them charged him when tey did he ran head up to them and jumped over itback he ran on it's back then other one tryed to get him he jumped over it and got lounged ino the air he saw th kid's agian while he wasnt payign agian one tryed to eat him from below even with his eye's cloused he could see them when it tryed to get him he manged to jump of it's theeth and got high in the air but one of them hit him sending him flyinginto anotehr one when he did he manged to hit his ffet on it and push his self foarward

As Oki walked on... his eyes were blank. Then he heard someone trip behind him. He turned around. It was Sophie, she tripped on some woods. He grabbed her hand and helped her back up to her feet before she hit the ground. "..." He turned away as if to continue walking... then he snapped out of it. His eyes went back to normal.. and he turned around.
