Ok. I wouldn't really call what I'm about to say to all of you, an idea.

I've been having this thought for a long time, ever since HD 2.5 was being made. I wanted to post my thoughts on here, but I was too busy with community college and I was afraid of getting into trouble, by the one's in charge of this site. I was so hesitant because part of what I'm going to talk about has something to deal with Dream Drop Distance. I was afraid of being a spoiler... Not only that, I had a fear that I might confuse all of you of what I was about to say. 

For the one's in charge of this site, if this topic is too much, then I lock it and I apologize for posting this topic...

To start off. When HD 2.5 was being made in Japan and X [Chi] is still going on, I was thinking about all of the Kingdom Hearts games that's being made in this world. The PS2 and PSP Final Mixes that was available in Japan, the original games, and Re: Chain of Memories as well as Re: Coded. All of them in their original state. Not a single new thing shown.

I was also thinking about the "Secret Message" in Dream Drop Distance. The one you have to collect those Gold Letters in people's names (Even the "N" in Nomura's name lol) to spell out "Secret Message Unlocked", on the Touch Screen? The one that says:

 

"The past will be reawakened as a new number in never-before-seen detail. Prepare yourself for the awakening of the next number."

 

Well, as I understood what was revealed to us in Dream Drop Distance. All of the mind-blowing stuff and the confusing but understandable talk about "Time Travel". And as I read that "Secret Message", this ridiculous thought came into my mind. 

 

I was thinking to myself: What if Xehanort's time traveling had some kind of effect in the "Past"? 

The "Past" meaning those HD 1.5 and 2.5 ReMix games. 

 

That secret message reflects my thoughts. In the real world, what was new to us in HD 1.5 and 2.5 (other than its new number) was the HD graphic's, some of the tracks being played with live instruments, and those 2 new cutscenes in 2.5.

But the series on the other hand, it's still growing up to reveal something big for Kingdom Hearts 3. Even X [Chi] is revealing something big. (I was trying to compare what's going on in the "Real World" VS the Kingdom Hearts Series. Sorry if I confuse you in this part.)

But again I ask:  What if Xehanort's time traveling had some kind of effect in the "Past"? 

 

I think that's all I wanted to say. I know this thought of mine is ridiculous, but I don't know why I have this thought.  I might have missed out some things, but like I said. If this post is too much, I'll lock it.

Well Xehanort's action's are definitely having some heinous effects on the Timeline, that's for sure. If he really is in cahoots with the 6th Follower from Chi, then he's literally had everyone screwed over since the beginning. ( A villain ruining your life a thousand years before you're even born.......fail. )

 

He states over and over that the past cannot be changed, but can only be guided. What's also strange, is that  M. Xehanort claims to be unable to see the future, yet speaks as if he's experienced all of this before, and knows what events will happen. Like when he tells Terra "Every time the Worlds fall to Darkness, a boy will be there to save them. But it won't be you Terra!" Almost like this has all happen before, and he knows, because he was there. Or...someone told him. (6th Follower attributes, again?)

 

Anyhoo, it's no kidding that his actions have severely flawed the past, and probably ruined future, but it's too late now! We're all gonna be NORTS!!!!

but with what you said, I've always felt that "WE" are involved in the story because you know, we play as Sora, Ven, Riku, ect. Its like we're the hero of the story

Perhaps we ALL are involved in this story by us playing as Sora and the others.  Playing the role of the hero and experiencing all what is going on, within the series.

exactly! like if your HP is running low and Sora has game over, its like we died or something. kinda like breaking the 4th wall where we are the ones controlling everyone's actions. I could imagine how terrifying it was in Birth By Sleep where you are about to do the final boss and you just stay there and look around where all those keyblades are in the graveyard. you just know something bad will happen basically to you and either Terra, Ventus and Aqua
