decisivesora123 39 Posted January 27, 2015 So, throughout some kingdom hearts game i feel like this weapon's name is kind of over exaggerated, when i see ultima weapon i think probably the weapon with the best strength, magic and length, but then in the games in 2.5 you have the fenrir, which is stronger, in bbs, you have royal radiance which was actually named the strongest, keyblade. what in the world is the best keyblade? lets leave decisive pumpkin out of the convo. TheKingdomkid 1,194 Posted January 27, 2015 (edited) Well the Ultima Weapon is the strongest in terms of Strength and Magic and it does have a better ability then Fenrir in Kingdom Hearts 2 in my opinion. The Ultima Weapon was the strongest in BbS until BbSFM which introduced Royal Radiance. In my opinion the Ultima Weapon is the best keyblade there is no matter what even if it doesn't have the highest strength or magic strength compared to some other keyblades in the Kingdom Hearts game. Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted January 27, 2015 #SweetMemoriesBestKeyblade It really depends on the circumstances. Some Keyblades are most suited to certain situations. For instance, in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix for the Data Battles, Decisive Pumpkin (I know you said keep it out, but let's face it: it's THE best) is mainly used because of it's capability to deal heavy finishers. However, for some of them such as Vexen, Demyx and Zexion we use Bond of Flame because of its Fire Boost ability. For Axel, you may use Mysterious Abyss because of its Blizzard Boost ability. For Xaldin, you'd use Guardian Soul because of its Reaction Boost. For Xigbar, Hero's Crest because of Air Combo Boost. Oathkeeper is good to use when Drive Form grinding because of its Form Boost ability... I could go on really. Don't get me wrong, Ultima Weapon is a very good Keyblade, but sometimes it's not the most efficient way to go. Its ability, MP Hastega, is awesome of you're a big-time Magic user and it has good Strength and Magic. I'm not too sure about Birth by Sleep since I haven't played it much. Peace! 1 decisivesora123 reacted to this
Lu Xun 2,069 Posted January 27, 2015 I've always thought of it as the best Keyblade in the way that it is the best balanced Keyblade -- like it has both great Atk and Mag. Like Fenrir is only nice for Atk -- it is terrible for Mag. I think they designed it to be the best Keyblade in general terms, even though it may lose to others in a few specific aspects

dabestgamer 62 Posted January 27, 2015 Sadly, Ultima Weapon outclasses Fenrir. If you equip all of your abilities, including Combo Pluses and such, you'll realize that you'll deal more damage from a full combo with Ultima than with Fenrir. Yes, I am factoring in Fenrir. If you add a "Combo Plus" to Fenrir, you gotta do it to Ultima as well for a better comparison. And also, Ultima Weapon is outclassed by Decisive Pumpkin a lot of the time, simply because Decisive Pumpkin has Combo Boost.

Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted January 27, 2015 It's the strongest, most balanced weapon. It get's exceeded in one area, but never in all of them.
BlankShell 638 Posted January 27, 2015 It's the best weapon for the base game, and then the Final Mix version introduces Keyblades that outclass it in either strength or magic (but never both!). Plus is always looks the best and in KH2 has the best ability, so there.
TwoBecameOne 33 Posted January 28, 2015 Just remember: in KH1 Ultima Weapon was the best keyblade. In KH2 I still use Ultima Weapon since it has MP Hastega, and it is the second best keyblade in stats overall (Winners' Proof is stronger) and in KHBbS it is strong enough for beating all ultimate bosses and unlock Royal Radiance, which is the strongest keyblade because it has an ability, the others don't.
