Ok so this will be my guesses that might appear in Kingdom Hearts III. Some are common reasons such as for which original world will appear and stuff. Trust me, this is only speculation and I may have the wrong reasons. If I'm wrong, just let me know and I would love to hear some of your thoughts as well!
ORIGINAL WORLDS THAT MIGHT APPEAR/WILL APPEAR
1. Destiny Islands

So we all know that Young Xehanort escaped from the island but we don't know how he did it. I don't know if this will be a playable world but there is also the mainland. We've never visited the mainland before and we might actually do. Some people believe it is Cable Town but who knows what could we do there!
2. Twilight Town

Twilight Town is the world balanced in light and darkness and there might be something going on there during the journey. Who knows? Maybe that Old Mansion will be important in KHIII. People think it has something to do with the Foretellers in Chi because if you look closely, there are Leopard symbols and many Unicorn statues set up around. Could it possibly be a base when their world "fell into darkness" after the first war happened?
3. Radiant Garden

Ok when will Kairi find out about her true home world? Plus, Dilan, Even, Aeleus, and Ienzo are still located in Ansem's study room. They may have information about what happened to Xehanort and why he created them as Nobodies. The question is, where are the somebodies of Luxord, Demyx, Marluxia, and Larxene?
4. Realm of Darkness

It's time for us to actually visit the dark depths of this realm. We know that we played as Aqua in Birth by Sleep but it's time for us to visit again. This time I think it won't be Sora to go since his heart is strong and filled with light in which it could easily be a target to the pureblooded Heartless. I pretty sure King Mickey and Riku will go and rescue her since they have more experience because they were stuck in the realm during the events of Kingdom Hearts. Aqua is also the only one { unless we think she is...} who knows where Ventus is.
5. Castle Oblivion

I don't even know if this will be a playable world or not but when Aqua is rescued from down under, she's the one who will tell everyone where Ventus is. I don't know if this is true, but guess that Aqua is the only one who can open the door where Ventus is currently sleeping.
6. Land of Departure

Alrighty then...to be honest, I don't know what will happen to the Land of Departure now that it's Castle Oblivion. Castle Oblivion MIGHT be reverted back to Land of Departure and maybe it might look improved on structure. It's said that the "new world, Cable Town", shares similarities with Twilight Town and the Land of Departure. For all we know, if it turns back, it could be heart-breaking to see the world again because of the disappearance of Master Eraqus. Who knows? Master Eraqus might come back as a person again!
7. Daybreak Town

This world was important in Kingdom Hearts X. It is the home of the legendary Foretellers. I don't know if it's true, but we may possibly visit this world. But then again, now that we know more about Chirithy, this world might possibly be stuck in the Realm of Sleep, waiting to be awakened. If we do visit, we know that the "Book of Prophecy" is there where it tells events of the future. Also there is much to learn about the mysterious young boy, Ephemera, who just might have secrets that he's hiding.
8. Cable Town

This "new area" has been discussed by many staff members who've attended the Inside The Kingdom, With Heart event. It's been said to have many similarities with the Land of Departure and Twilight Town. We don't actually know what it is but we do know that the footage from the event showed Sora in a library-like room. There was white buildings stacked on each other and I think people said there were windmills too. As of now, we still don't know exactly how this would be included story-wise. We'll just have to wait and find out.
9. Keyblade Graveyard

I guess it's obvious that we'll see this devastated place again...The 13 Darknesses and the 7 Guardians of Light are fated to meet here. We don't know for sure, but what if there's another place where they will all fight in?
DISNEY WORLDS THAT MIGHT APPEAR/WILL APPEAR
1. Disney Castle

This might be important in Kingdom Hearts III. Why? Queen Minnie, Daisy and the others are still there. I don't know what will happen but they might have to seal and guard the castle, especially the Cornerstone of Light. If we don't visit the 7 Pure Heart's corresponding worlds, the princesses might stay at Disney Castle to be safe. Unless, the old hag, Maleficent, and Pete barge into their business and start their schemes again. Hey I mean some worlds might have to be in lockdown to avoid the darkness, Heartless, and possibly Nobodies, Unversed, or Dream Eater Nightmares!
2. The Symphony of Sorcery { Fantasia 2000 }

We've already explored the world of Fantasia 1940 and we might see the beautiful world of Fantasia 2000 in Kingdom Hearts III! Who knows what wonders will be there!
3. Olympus Coliseum/Mount Olympus { Hercules }

As shown in the D23 trailer, we saw Sora, Donald, and Goofy riding the "Big Magic Mountain" train, while fighting the Rock Titan from Hercules. Don't know if it was just for show but the world looked different than in the other games. We might possibly go to Mount Olympus where Zeus and the other gods are.
4. Pride Lands { The Lion King II: Simba's Pride }

Sora, Donald, and Goofy already visited the Pride Lands in Kingdom Hearts II and during the credits, we did see a cute little lion. Now that was Kiara from the second film. We might come back to visit and see Simba and Kiara. It would be cool to follow the events of Simba's Pride.
5. Agrabah { Aladdin: The King of Thieves }

In Kingdom Hearts, the game followed the first movie. In Kingdom Hearts II, the game followed Aladdin: Jafar's Return. So what about the third movie? They couldn't leave that movie out right?
6. Port Royal { Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest/At World's End }

Wow. There are still 3 movies left from the Pirates of the Caribbean that could be added to Kingdom Hearts II. If Square decides to add in the "2nd visit" thing again, the world could follow both movies. It's time to see Davy Jones out in the flesh.
7. The Jungle Book

Ok, the world for the Jungle Book was ALMOST going to appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, but was cut for unknown reason. Possibly because of copyright. Maybe it might finally appear in Kingdom Hearts III.
8. Kauai Island/Hawaii { Lilo and Stitch }

I don't know about this one because we did see Stitch at Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden. Maybe he ended up traveling and he ended up near Lilo's home. It would be cool to see Stitch again!
9. Frozen

Yeah...Arendale might appear in Kingdom Hearts III due to it's popularity. I do like the movie and the story might work with the plot of Kingdom Hearts III. The movie does have the strong theme of heart or in their case, the frozen heart.
AND NOW MY SMALL LITTLE THEORY OF MULTIPLE PLAYABLE CHARACTERS
So it's been said that Sora will be the main guy of the game but what about the others? This fight is about everyone! Everyone has a reason to fight! Mickey, Donald, and Goofy want to fight because their friends have been in danger for a long time and the villains gave them so much hardships. Riku fights because he wants to "protect the things that matter" and finally conquer and forget his past that Ansem SoD corrupted. Kairi is fighting because she doesn't want her friends to fight alone. Lea wants to fight because of what the 13 Darknesses did to his "best friend", Isa, and his bestest friends, Roxas and Xion. Aqua and Ventus fight because of the things that Xehanort did to them, their master, and Terra. Terra and Sora will fight because they want to save everyone and have the worlds come back in peace!
Now I don't think we'll play as just Sora! I think we will switch between characters in different parts of each world. Kinda like Dream Drop Distance { Minus the drop thingy }
Here are some examples.

1. Imagine if we play as Kairi in a prologue since she's still training, we might undergo a tutorial for basic battling.
Then, we might switch over to Lea at some point.
2. Imagine while Sora, Donald, and Goofy are in a world, Sora's says" I wonder how the King and Riku are doing," then the scene stops there and switches to another cutscene with Riku and King Mickey. After that King/ Riku scene, we will play as Riku in wherever he and Mickey are.

Heeeeey! Maybe we'll actually play as either Young Xehanort or Young Eraqus IF we go back into time when they were both still in training. You guys gotta remember that teaser trailer of Young Xehanort talking about the "lost masters". I think Square said that teaser was confirmed to be the Introduction but I dunno...
