  • Well you'll definitely get objected-oriented programing down.  Be prepared to spend a while in front of the computer.  I once missed my cousin's birthday party because I spent all day trying to get C+

Currently building a game for my data structures class. Incredibly infuriating and incredibly fun at the same time. It's a team project and my team consists of me and one other guy. We've developed a random map generator, an item list holder, a backpack for the player's inventory, and a player and monster record. We've just started putting the pieces together and we're planning on downloading an extra code library to add more control over the game's window, so we can add color, screen clearing, (possibly sprites), etc.

Haven't posted in a while cuz I've been busy with work, school, and life lol I'm on my last semester of undergrad taking:

Artificial Intelligence
Computer Networking
Philosophy of Language
Digital Humanities
Copyediting

I already got hired on as a Software Developer at the place I've been interning at. I do part-time back-end Java and database work for the company's products website. Then when I finish school in December I'll be on full time. I also got accepted into Georgia Tech for my Masters so I'm definitely looking forward to that! How's everyone's college going?

Been a while. Since my last post 8 years ago, I did finish my Bachelors in Computer Science. I then went on to my Masters in Computer Science at Georgia Tech. Had to take a break for a while due to personal life stuff like buying a house, having baby #2, and the pandemic (that was no joke), but ended up going back and graduating about a year and a half ago. It was brutal. Had to repeat the last class, but I made it. Not sure there'll be any more college in my future, but I have mulled over the possibility of a PhD or MBA one day. I'm kinda interested in finance as well, so an MBA could be nice to give myself more career options.

In other news, I'm very proud of my beautiful wife @King Riku who has started back to college this semester, working toward an Associates in Web Development. She had to also take a break after baby #2 and I'm happy to see her get back into it and accomplish things for herself. Love you babe <3

Awwww, I love you too!! 🥹 I’m so proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished! I know you worked so hard to get there and now you’re kicking butt! You should totally go back for finance, I want you to do what you enjoy and will make you happy. I will be here with you every step of the way ❤️
