Anyone interested in game development?

Posted

I noticed that there are quite a few members on the site that have some sort of knowledge  in game development, Since I've taken a year of game development and am currently in a business and entrepreneurship program i decided to start a team. so to whoever's interested just comment what you would be able to bring to the table(even if someone else has the same skill) and well see what kind of magic we can create.

My personal skills:

Game design

Sound Design (I own a home studio)

Voice over's  (I own a home studio)

understanding of C++(to a certain extent)

Business (Marketing, sales and innovation)

Anyone is welcome to comment and join in, this is mostly to see who would be interested in that sort of thing.

Peace!

I'd need more info if you wanted some sort of script or pre draft, unless you mean literally post ANY idea I have?

Well start with any idea and just keep narrowing it down depending on which  ideas/direction we want to go with. there aren't any rules we are the creators we can make whatever we want to. :D

The big issue is that without a set genre of game, the plot can be anything, and then we have to work the game around the stroy, and it's easier to work a story around a game when writting it. I mean, if we're going for a futuristic shooter game and the writers write a fantasy where you use sticks and fly's as weapons, it won't work.

true then i guess what i meant was pitch the story and the gameplay as a package and people can make suggestions if they feel the need to on ways to improve either aspect were a team so we have to be open with each other that being said if you dislike someones idea be respectful and come up with a constructive reason as to why another idea would work better at the end of the day were trying to create something we can all be passionate about and that were willing to work our assess off for because at the end of the day thats what it will take
