Tatsu / Aize / Trunks

 

-- Age 850: Toki Toki City --

 

A bright flash of light filled the area in front of the central plaza with a group of warriors, of all shapes, sizes, and races.

One of them: a Namekian, well built and tall enough to tower over everybody else in the group looked around with tight, serious eyes, while another one, a small, blue and green member of the race that Frieza belonged to, observed casually the area to which he and the others now found themselves.

 

It was a futuristic like city, built with gray and purple metal walls and floors, a patches of green grass surrounding the edges of some entrances and walkways, and behind them, a small river running under a few bridges, and a nearby pedestal on the other side, carrying seven orange orbs with stars on them. But most notably: above the group was a giant green dragon, floating high in the air with a mystical aura.

 

"Farewell!" he cried to the others, suddenly dispersing from the air as seven orbs lifted up from the pedestal and spread throughout the air.

 

Not a moment later did a man in a green and brown coat and carrying a sword on his back come walking towards everybody, a small smile on his face.

 

"You're all surprised, I'm sure. Don't worry, I'll explain everything to you.... my name is Trunks," he said.

 

"Trunks, huh? You don't seem like much... I'm Tatsu, by the way," the Namekian said.

 

"Hmm... my name is Aize," the member of Frieza's race said after.

Bluu stayed a silent observer, going over the battle in her head and factoring in what she would've done differently.  She also was thinking about who would be the next to battle, and what point in time it would be.  She stood there with her hand on her chin, deep in thought, her hair tentacles curling and uncurling.

(And again, sorry for the late response. At least now I'll be caught up with these RPs.)

 

Kondai bowed. "Thank you, Renco. It was an honor fighting alongside you, as well." She then turned towards Tatsu. "I am sure that you are powerful as well, but I would not suggest underestimating myself and our other teammates. We will all need to trust each other if we wish to succeed in our mission." She spoke respectfully, but there was still a slightly forceful tone in her voice.

 

"Kondai's right. We were all chosen to come here for a reason. We've all got our own strengths, and I'm sure that Mister Trunks took those into consideration when he brought us all to TokiToki City. Let's all try to get along and work together, okay?" Aspar grinned, hoping to convince the others of their argument. 

Tatsu / Trunks

 

"Hmm. We'll see. Just don't get in my way," Tatsu replied, still sticking to his guns about getting his spotlight.

 

"Everyone!" a voice called. It was Trunks, running up towards the group of warriors.

 

"Please come with me. Another event in history has been corrupted!" He said, leading everyone back to the Time Nest.

 

-- Time Nest --

 

"This is bad... this is very very bad..." Trunks said as he viewed the contents of the scroll in his hands. He held it up towards the group so they could see.

 

After Raditz's defeat at the hands of Goku and Piccolo, Raditz told Piccolo that two more Saiyans, his partners, would come to Earth and take their revenge. With this news, Piccolo, Gohan, and the deceased Goku in the Other World began a rigorous training session to prepare for their arrival. They were joined by Goku's closest allies: Yamcha, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu.

 

The heroes trained their hardest, and exactly one year later, the Saiyans would come just as Raditz as said... The scene that the warriors were shown was the ramifications of the timeline corruption causing the two Saiyans having their power increased:

 

In the Gizard Wasteland, the bodies of Goku's friends and allies were all scattered on the cold, orange ground. Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien lay, seemingly lifeless. Chiaotzu was nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, a pack of green alien-like creatures called the Saibamen surrounded their bodies, emitting a purplish aura and turning their already red eyes a deeper and more villainous shade of red. The two Saiyans, Nappa and Vegeta, were nowhere to be seen, but suddenly, Goku appeared in the sky. He looked to be battled damaged and running low on stamina. Then, two giant apes appeared in front of Goku. The Saiyan from Earth charged these two giants, but swatted him back with ease, like a simply fly. The apes closed in on the cornered Goku--

 

The scroll then ended its transmission.

 

"Oh no. This is even worse than the last corruption..." Trunks said, clearly distressed with how much had changed.

"So, uh... who's going to go in and help Goku out?" Aspar asked, sounding kind of nervous. This battle looked like it would be much tougher than the last one.

 

Kondai's usually blank stare showed slight signs of concern. This could end badly... We need to act quickly.

"So it's true." Bluu said.  "Sayians do turn into giant monkeys.  They seem like they'd be stronger than that other guy."

"W-what?!" was all Renco could muster after what he just saw.  Taking a moment to think of something, he finally says:  "Were those really the saiyans Vegeta and Nappa?"

 

"That seems to be the case."  Pyrus replies, "This does look quite troubling.  I've read that the 'prince of all Saiyans' transformed into a creature like that, but not the other fellow.  And then there's the Saibamen.  Guess there's no need to say that a change with them is very prominent."

Trunks / Tatsu

 

"Correct. If this is allowed to happen, who knows what Nappa and Veg-I mean... my father... will do next. We've got to set this right!" Trunks then closed the scroll and handed it to Tatsu.

 

"Tatsu, I know that you've wanted to have a chance to fight, so I'll grant it to you right now. We'll need a heavy hitter for this mission," Trunks said.

 

"Thanks. But who's going with me?" Tatsu asked.

 

"Hmm... let me see... ah, I know. Aspar, you'll be Tatsu's partner," Trunks told the Saiyan in question.

"Got it." Aspar gave Trunks a thumbs-up. "I can handle this. It's just a big monkey and his sidekicks, after all... Tatsu and I will take care of this." He told the others, trying to sound reassuring. He was actually interested in battling Vegeta, even if it wasn't at his strongest...

Tatsu / Trunks

 

"Hmph. If you say so. Just don't get in my way," Tatsu said, his warrior tendencies starting to take hold.

 

"Good luck. We'll all be watching out for you from here," Trunks assured as Tatsu and Aspar were transported to their objective.

 

-- Age 762, Gizard Wastelands --

 

Vegeta and Nappa had just touched down to meet with the group of five heroes that stood before them, having already commented from above how insignificant they seemed compared to themselves. All them seem fairly intimidated by their presence, especially Gohan, but they were confident that their training would be put to good to use. Piccolo, the de facto leader of the bunch, seemed the most ready to take on the Saiyan invaders.

 

Vegeta / Piccolo / Nappa

 

"Well well... seems like you've been expecting us," Vegeta said, as Nappa chuckled darkly to himself.

 

"I'll say this once: forget whatever business you have on this planet and get lost. Or you'll have all of us to answer to," Piccolo said.

 

"Hmm... I recognize your voice from Raditz's scouter feed," Vegeta said. "You must be the Namekian who took him out. And you're also the one who must have created the Dragon Balls."

 

"Wait... Namekian? What's that? And what does it have to do with the Dragon Balls?" Piccolo questioned.

 

"Ha! You're asking us what a Namekian is? You must be dense," Nappa scoffed. "Here's the short version: they're a bunch of aliens from a planet called Namek. They know how to do magic tricks, and one of those tricks is creating the Dragon Balls, which is the reason why we're here. Now... hand them over."

 

"Heh... well I appreciate the history lesson on my ancestry, but there are two things you need to know," Piccolo said in a eerie but confident voice.

 

"One, I'm not the one who created the Dragon Balls. And second, as you can see from my appearance... I'm more of the warrior type rather than a simple magician," Piccolo boasted as he settled into a fighting stance. "And believe me: your Saiyan power won't save you from what I'm capable of."

 

Piccolo's bravado inspired the rest of the group to prepare themselves for action, as Nappa and Vegeta simply mused to themselves in response.

 

"Well since you seem so confident, let's just give your power a test," Vegeta said. "Oh, and Nappa?"

 

"Yeah?" Nappa asked as Vegeta took off the red scouter attached to his face.

 

"Our scouters won't be needed at the moment. It seems these Earth fighters are capable of hiding their true power levels," Vegeta said, dropping his scouter to the ground next to his boots.

 

Nappa did as Vegeta instructed and disposed of his own scouter. "No wonder Raditz got himself killed. That weak fool must have underestimated these guys."

 

"Indeed. But let's have our own evaluation of their strength, shall we? And I know the perfect way to do it... Nappa, plant the Saibamen," Vegeta instructed.

 

"Saibamen, huh? Ha-ha. I gotta admit, Vegeta, I love your sick sense of humor," Nappa said as he took a moment to retrieve something from inside his armor...

 

Meanwhile, Tatsu and Aspar had transported to a nearby mountain overlooking the battlefield. Tatsu looked out at the events transpiring below him.

 

"Looks like we're just on time. Come on, let's get closer," Tatsu said.

 

"Remember you two: you have to keep your presence limited in the timeline. Don't jump in until you know that it is necessary," Trunks said to the two through his communcation device.

 

"Tch. Understood," Tatsu begrudgingly said, well past tired of waiting, but kept himself scarce as he moved towards the point of interest.

"Got it, Trunks." Aspar responded to the voice of his master, then followed Tatsu as they edged closer to the battlefield. He barely managed to keep quiet, but he was excited to battle alongside the likes of Piccolo and Gohan, as well as see Vegeta in action. However, he still understood that he couldn't let Vegeta and Nappa win this time.

Tatsu

 

"Pipe down!" Tatsu angrily whispered, masking his own anger at not being able to jump into the fray as quickly as he could.

 

The two were much closer than they were before, positioned behind a rock formation at least a few feet from where the heroes and villains were standing.

 

Vegeta / Nappa / Piccolo / Gohan / Krillin / Yamcha / Tien

 

Nappa retrieved the item from his armor: a little vial with what looked like to be green seedlings as well as a liquid inside it. He then bent down on one knee, and planted the seeds beneath the ground, also draining the liquid inside the same spot. Slowly but surely, after Nappa stepped away, the ground began shaking as something began unearthing. Green heads that resembled cabbages started peaking out from the ground, and with a flurry of shrieks and squeals, the alien-like creatures known as the Saibamen emerged!

 

They stared down the warriors with their red piercing eyes. They were not like anything that they had ever faced before in their entire lives.

 

"What the hell are these things even supposed to be?" Krillin blurted.

 

"These are Saibamen. They are scientifically engineered creatures used for combat training," Vegeta explained. "They also have the same average power level as our former comrade Raditz."

 

"So wait, these things are as strong as the guy my dad and Mr. Piccolo fought?" Gohan asked.

 

"Aw man. We're in for it now..." Krillin feverishly said.

 

"Come on guys, don't wuss out just yet! Heck, I bet I can take on all of these guys myself!" Yamcha boasted.

 

"Let's not get hasty. Gohan and Krillin are right: if these things are as strong as the person Goku and Piccolo fought, then they won't be an easy opponent for fighters of our power..." Tien said.

 

"Even so... we're not backing down. We'll take on your little puppets and then you'll be next," Piccolo said, something that everyone could agree on.

 

"So then, which one of you is going first? I figure we should make a little game out of this, eh Vegeta?" Nappa said.

 

"I agree. It'll be fun to see them picked off one by one. Like lambs to the slaughter..." Vegeta said.

 

But before a further decision could be made, the corruption of the timeline kicked in. The Saibamen's eyes and aura were affected, and Instead of waiting for Vegeta or Nappa to command them to fight, they all sprung out on the fighters at once.

 

Trunks

 

"The Saibamen have become more feral than they were in the original timeline. They're completely focused on wiping out Piccolo and the others!" Trunks told Tatsu and Aspar.

 

"Wait, but didn't everyone except Gohan and Krillin actually die this fight in the original timeline?" Tatsu asked.

 

"That's true, but like I said, the Saibamen are more feral. If they are allowed to win, then they might cause further damage to the timeline, not to mention that it will allow Goku to be defeated by Vegeta and Nappa according to the transmission we saw in the scroll."

 

"Oh yeah, that's right... so can we jump in now?"

 

"Yes, of course!"

 

"Alright. Come on Aspar!"

 

The two then jumped into the fray, and immediately caught the attention of Vegeta and Nappa.

 

"Hey Vegeta, who are those guys?" Nappa asked.

 

"I don't know. They seem to be with the other Earth fighters..." Vegeta said.

 

"Do you think I should make some more Saibamen then?" 

 

"I don't see why not," Vegeta said, allowing Nappa to create even more Saibamen, and this time, he added an extra dose so that now twice the number of Saibamen had spawned, easily outnumbering the combined total of fighters.

 

"Well, looks like things just go more interesting. Finally, a chance to unleash my power!" Tatsu said, already trading blows with the hordes of Saibamen in the area.

Aspar was excited to finally have a chance to jump into the battle. "Heh, just a few Saibamen? Well, I guess they'll work as a good warm-up." He smirked, and began battling them. He decided to avoid using any energy attacks yet, and instead showed off his martial arts skills. A group of Saibamen approached him, although a flurry of kicks managed to keep most of them away. He took a few hits from behind, but managed to successfully fend off the enemies.

Earth's Warriors / Tatsu / Trunks

 

The Earth Fighters took notice of their new sporadic allies.

 

"Hey, who are these guys? I've never seen them before. Have you?" Yamcha asked Tien as the two stood back to back and fought off the oncoming green creatures.

 

"Not that I'm aware of," Tien answered as he used his Crane style martial arts and as Yamcha fired a Kamehameha. "Still, with these numbers, it's hard to complain. And they seem to be with good intentions."

 

"I guess you're right. Ah well," Yamcha replied as the two separated and fought by themselves.

 

Tatsu payed no heed to any of the Saibamen, showing off an aggressive form of offense that only he could pull off. Within several minutes, the warriors and the Time Patrollers had finished off all of the Saibamen.

 

Piccolo then stopped to take notice of his fellow Namekian and the goofy looking Saiyan. "Whoever you two are, you at least seem to be strong," he commented.

 

"Piccolo's right, but uh, it still seems kind of weird that you would randomly pop up at this time..." Krillin said, rubbing his bald head.

 

Tatsu showed no signs of unrest in order not to raise anymore suspicion. "There's no need to be wary. We're simply friends of Goku, and we wanted to defend our home," Tatsu said simply.

 

Good answer. Make sure to keep your words minimal, though. Trunks reminded the two.
