Tomb Raider sells over 8.5 million copies worldwide, highest selling entry in franchise history

Tomb Raider has sold over 8.5 million copies worldwide on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC & Mac. This is easily the highest selling entry in the Tomb Raider franchise. This is also the third highest selling title in Square/Square Enix history behind Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X, it is however likely to fall to fifth if Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy XIII do get ported to PlayStation 4.

    As it should. I just hope that Rise surpasses it because, while it was good, TR 2013 left a lot to be desired.
