Just the other day, I came across a Tokasatsu called "Garo", in which the main characters wore armour similar to the Keyblade Armour.

Now, I'm not saying that the idea came from that Tokusatsu directly, but I do remember seeing somewhere that Tetsuya Nomura loves movies.

Given that, would it be possible that Testsuya Nomura got the idea from Tokusatsu(s)?

Or do you think it was an original idea?

(TBH, the armour seemed like kind of a cliche and overdone idea to me, but what do I know? Plus, it was cool even if it was cliche, so it worked out, I guess.)

"Nomura likes movies... armour was in a movie... there must be a connection"

"An unbreakable connection!"

I definitely think it's possible that he could have gotten inspiration from there.

That's like saying the Guard Armor was inspired by the mecha in Super Sentai.
