I found this letter I wrote myself over a year ago, and I completely forgot about it... I felt like I should share it, because who knows who it could help.
Do not disappoint yourself.Remember, do not forget, DO NOT let yourself sink back into what youwere before.You CAN change, you CAN fix yourself.You need to keep it up.No matter how impossible it may seem sometimes, you can still try.Trying is NOT pointless. You can only improve by trying.Even if you find out it's not what you wanted to do, you stilldid something to change yourself, and that's all that matters.You CAN change yourself, and you need to prove that to you and everyone.Do not let yourself go again.Find some motivation. The kind of Motivation you had only minutes beforewriting this. KNOW YOUR PASSION! Passion isn't something you seek.It's something you remember.The only person you should aim to impress is yourself.It doesn't matter what you think of yourself- you can change what you don'tlike.What matters is what you do with what you know.I care about you. You may forget that sometimes, but do you really hateyourself enough to not even try to let go of your hatred? You liked yourselfenough to keep going until this point. Let go of your hatred of yourself.Never give up. Please. It's kind of weird, what happiness I get from this letter. I might feel like other people might not care, but at some point, I did. I can't let younger me down.I want to share this with anyone battling depression. There was at least one high-point in my life, where I was able to write this without feeling sarcastic. I might continue to feel like crap every single day, but knowing that I can get to a high-point, I feel better a little.Write yourself a letter when you're at a highpoint. Save it. Do not delete it. You may find it again one day and be happy.
