"It was a long time ago... Back many, many millions of years before we had these fictitious little lamps and flying cars... back when it seemed Magic was real again, when Iron and Arrows were the peacemakers...  Back in the days where an elegant dancer could ebb away the horrors one could possibly see...That this story takes place, friend."

 

A leather-gloved hand reached and pulled the shade off of the lamp sat at your table. The smell and bright lights as well as hot fire and wooden ash decorated your senses in fine robes. A small motel, only themed to look like an old-timely inn, but despite it's cleanliness, you would only assume that this would seem like home for someone of that time.

 

A folk band plucked away at the strings and played their flutes, however you could tell from a glance it was only acting. The well-hidden speakers played the "folk song", as they acted it out. On the stage, standing with them, a female dancer and her male partner. Though they moved gracefully in time with the beat, they almost had no soul to them... The men and women, dressed in the garb of this time but made by machines in a factory, laughed and cheered and played. An act started with a "Bandit" team coming from no where and "kidnapping" a woman, but they were dressed in the garb and the bartender payed no mind to it, only listening to his orders, so it was hard to not understand the situation. 

 

The booth you sat in contained others, but none of which you had memory of ever meeting before this day. 

 

The cloaked man cleared his throat. With it, you wonder when you had ended up in this position. But it didn't matter now, you thought.

 

The man sitting at the table with you, cloaked in a large, brown shroud of leather and cloth. You couldn't dare go for a glance at his face. The hood hung over his face too low, he would instantly understand what you were doing. He put the lamp shade down, and with a nod, he began to tell the story.

 

" Back in the days of old, when Humanity was at it's seeming "Peak", it's pinnacle of performance... We were arrogant. Our technology at that time seemed to vastly superior to even what we have done today, but this is just legend, as far as we know. What we know for sure was, that we were, in fact... Arrogant. A virus, like none ever seen before, erupted in our advanced society. It started with one human. Then another, and another..."

 

"Millions died in the span of a week, some instantly, others spent the whole week suffering through a terrible agony, at least according to record..

 

...And these were the world's top minds.

 

With a majority of the best of our species in terms of mind power gone in what seemed a mere instant, the world panicked, naturally, of course. What few individual country areas that still existed began fighting over medicine stock, food, safe water supplies that were filtered and boiled and cleaned extensively for safety. Meanwhile, the non-government humans began to die out. It did not discriminate: the poor rotted with the rich, even the moat advanced medical care couldn't keep people alive....

 

..Children starved to death without families to feed them... If the virus hadn't already crippled them first..."

 

You face had contorted to a frown of disgust as the man talked. Such a sad story was not needed in such a time! Why bother? You figure you should leave, but yet, your strength has left your legs and arms. the seat you had taken felt too comfortable now. "I might as well stay..." You drowsily think, forgetting the notion of leaving the area. The speaker went on.

 

"But even in this dark, bloody time, we managed to cope. Until the different nations began to bomb one-another. No one can blame any specific person's actions. No country had enough to go around, let alone share. The people were desperate.No one could say that one party was wrong in the situation.

 

The bombs hit hard.

 

It was nearly the end of the Human Race.

 

They say, on the last day of bombing, a cure for the virus finally came. It was a miracle that came too late, except for a few lucky souls..."

 

A cold drip of water falling against your hand brought you back to reality for a moment. A server finally delivered your drink. A swig out of the cup of "Murky" water, and the man continued his story.

 

"Those lucky souls survived the bombings and virus began to rebuild society from here on in. This time period, a long with a great number of its sciences and records were destroyed, very little to go on as to what happened before, was named The Ending Age. The bombing was the last day of The Ending Age, and marked the beginning of what we are in now, the Endless age. From Year Zero of Endless Age until about 100 EA, the small amount of humans left rebuilt and recreated a small society of people.

 

Those people had nothing. None of the old tech, they didn't have guns, or bombs, or tanks. They had steel, feathers, string, wood... So they protected themselves with Swords, axes, and bows. Some fought to protect what little was made, some were greedy, and for this reason, a school was founded to make competent warriors to protect everyone else."

 

The dancers fell from the stage, but you pay them no mind.

 

"And dancers, one of few entertainments left to this world, followed suit with a school as well."

 

The "kidnappers" were dragged back in with their "victim" safe and sound, the Knights shoved the "wrongdoers" into the floor and began to make joke of them.

 

"It was decided to lump the schools together, eventually, as Dancers and Fighters seemed to work together well in this world. The fighters protected the dancers, the dancers kept the fighters fed and armed. It became almost symbiotic in nature, almost unnatural to see a fighter without their Dancer. So, the schools felt it best to work together in tandem to keep social order together."

 

The "Victim" joined in with the other dancers, seeing as she was dressed like one as well, and one of the Knights lied against the wall, keeping one eye on the trio of spinning people as the crowd cheered.

 

"And so this is where our story starts. But not tonight. Go home, we will continue tomorrow."

 

The cloaked man got up suddenly and walked off. You felt the odd enchantment of the story ware off on you, and you walk home, falling asleep soundly in your bed. As you dream, you begin to visualize someone...

RP BACKGROUND

 

This RP is a partial stat-based RP, much like my RP Kingdom Hearts: The Tirain Pieces. In this RP, your stats will only apply to Boss Battles or in PVP. Outside of that, stats don't pay much role in it. Your stats, however, will be randomly assigned via a RNG (Random Number Generator) and via what specific class you choose. This is mainly just for balancing and for fun, there will be shops with equipment, quests, ect,.

 

Follow the basic rules of the RP section, no Godmodding, and just in general be a good person.

 

There are NO limits to how many can be a class, but if you choose one class, and someone chooses the other, you may be paired up with that person.

 

On that note, I would like to Request But not make it a rule that you have only one character. If you choose to have another character, it may give you unfair advantages or disadvantages. But if you feel it won't be an issue, or really want another character, you can have another.

 

Other than that, everything is fine, I hope you enjoy and have tons of fun! Can't wait to see you all in game!

Armor is sort of just like their in-battle appearance. Abilities are free to create, but be reasonable with them. If I feel their OP, I'll have to say no to your character until it's fixed.

Description: He doesn't like to fight, but he knows that if he wants to save those close to him, then he has to be prepared not only to fight, but to kill. He is very protective of those around him, especially his Dancer. He can come off as a little... overbearing, but only because he wants to ensure the safety of his friends.

Abilities: 1. Rebound: A 20% chance that, upon taking damage which would be fatal, the damage is rebounded by half, hitting whoever hit him first. 

2. Raging Stream: When his health is at roughly 25%, this ability kicks in. His movements become far more graceful, although still not to Dancer levels, which increases his chance to dodge enemy attacks. 

3: Burning heart: When in combat, if he's attacking, his HP regenerates, but only a very little. 

Outfit(Dancers only for right now, only used when preforming, nothing too exposing): N/A

Partner(Must be the opposite class as you): Rin Tohsaka

Ability(Your character may have up to two ability's of their own at this time): 1: Barbed edge: Can activate this ability to cause his short swords to become barbed, causing his enemy to bleed more.

2: Shocking shocking: Causes lightening to arc between his two blades, shocking his opponent(s).

Description: He is very protective of his friends and whoever is allied to him, he is loyal to them as well. He is a serious,calm minded individual, but not above joking from time to time, he however hates sharing information about his family, as the traumatic events of his childhood still hold onto him to this day.

Skyfall: Alexander jumps high and bring his halberd's spear point downards at the enemy, delivering a piercing blow and heavy damage.

 

Perserverance (Upon taking a fatal hit, that would either kill him or incapacitate him, Alexander will withstand the blow, and recover 25% of his health in doing so, can only happen once in every battle and has a 25% chance of actually triggering)

 

Bio: Alexander was born off a wealthy family, however, soon orphanized at a young age of 8 after his father fell il and died, his mother went insane and commited suicide leaving him and his siblings to be orphanized and live for most of their life in an orphanage, separated from his little sister Mimi, and his younger brother Jack as they were adopted by another wealthy family, leaving him behind. Alexander wanted to be useful for once, so he enlisted in the fighter academy and has been training in it ever since.

 

Most of his orphan friends preferred swords, bows and other types of typical weapons, but Alexander to a liking to halberds, able to do great damage at a good range and not suffering on a crowd control perspective, although halberd fighters are rare, and not very respected, but he doesn't care about what others think of him.

 

He trained on them and soon became extremely proficient at wielding halberds, also training a bit on swords and knives in case he needed a side weapon, instead of many fighters, he prefers to wear medium armor as opposed to heavy and light, allowing him good protection but at the same time good mobility, but nowhere near the heavy and light counterparts, his fighting style a mix of defensive and aggressive types, he can adapt to a tough situation quickly, and act accordingly.

At the same time, others might notice that he looks a little lonely or empty, and that Syfe constantly tries to prove himself to peers and adults.

He's been trained in hand-to-hand, basic swordplay techniques, basic staff techniques, advanced bladed staff techniques, and is in extraordinary physical shape. Now, one might think he was forced to go through with this. But the reality is that he did this largely on his own. It was his determination, his focus to pushed him towards greatness. And he was aimed right towards continuing the family legacy when disaster struck. A large guild of criminal fighters took out his parents, and Syfe was left alone. But, his father's last will expressed very clearly that he should be sent to the academy should anything happen to him. And, just like that, Syfe was sent to the school.

Weapon: A dualblade, AKA two broadswords attached at the hilt, but can be detached easily with only the tap of a button, at which point he is wielding dual swords.

Armor: See above. Abilities include:

  Rush- An extremely quick charge at an enemy, following a long combo mixing dualblade and dual blade techniques.

  Swift- A large increase in his reflex ability and speed

  Determination- After a blow that puts him near-death or at death (at which point he stays at 1 HP), his stats increase greatly.

Outfit: N/A

Partner: I don't care, someone who's good for me. Not my other character.

Ability:

  Discharge: A large amount of lightning is suddenly discharged through his weapon and directed towards an opponent.

  Eagle-Eye: An incredible increase in precision, so that he almost never misses and more often deals criticals.

Its been at least 100 years since the end of the virus, as such, he would be at least 123+ years old. May want to rethink that. I will be nerf img your survival skill to a 25% activation rate, outside of thst, your good.

The passive skill on Syfe for increase hit and critical is too OP, critical hits do 4x standard damage and are, as such, suppose to be very, very, well, critical, cannot be willy-nilly in use.

 

Prediction will be set to a 15% activation rate and will be upp'd with your Intelligence and Speed skills being part of the growth standard.

Also edited my sheet, should be acceptable now Riki. I also increased the hp he recovers from it to 25%, to balance out with the relatively low chance of it happening, hope its alright.

 

Also, expect a lot of dragoon jumps on Alexander's part (Final fantasy dragoons)

In regards to my question, that is.Although that's a horrifying thought, for that too happen. (An edit not being saved.)

A question, although one I foresee the answer too. (Well, two, actually.) Would it be... possible (Let's say down the line in the RP in fact, make it easier.) for A. My character to dual wield... not quite daggers, but two short swords? And B. Not exactly summon swords, that could be OP, but have said daggers magically bound to him?  Just a bit of curiosity, to see if I can make GARcher.

If he accepted yours then I demand for dual wielding halberds!

My original response didn't post .-For right now, no soul-bound/magic blades, at least not right st THIS minute. Also, any weapon outside of an automatic, explosive/explosive powder based or powered weapon. Basically the only limits are A. No magic weapons. B. No modern weapons. So dual-wielding is completely OK, most midevil and non-gun or explosive-style are available for use.

Description: Anna tends to act a bit arrogant at times, due to her distinguished title of being the daughter of a famous warrior and dancer team. She can be very critical about the decisions and habits of others, though she does this with the honest intent of wanting to help them to improve.

Appearance:

Bio: Anna's mother was a dancer, just like her. As a child, she was captivated by her mother's talent. She had always wanted to follow in her footsteps, and help new warriors fight to their best ability. In fact, her father and mother were once partners. The three lived happily, and managed to do well despite the difficult world they had found themselves in. Her parents were able to make quite a bit of money due to their exploits, and as a result, she lived in a wealthy family, with just about anything she could want in life. However, this happiness quickly faded when she became a teenager. A criminal who had faced her father and barely managed to escape decided to take revenge, and assassinated Anna's father. The 13 year old Anna was left with only her mother, and she swore to become a great dancer to support a warrior in order to prevent another tragedy.
