Nintendo attractions coming to Universal Studios Parks

Featured Replies

Awesome! Hope is not fake though! xD

this is really cool stuff! I've always dreamed of having Nintendo represented at some theme park, and Universal seems like the best choice for this seeing as how they've been trying to expand with the Harry Potter and Simpsons IPs, etc. Plus they have a good relationship with Japanese companies if the Evangelion and Attack on Titan attractions that are going up in Japan are any indication, so they seem like a good fit to tackle Ninty's library.

There are lots of neat stuff they can do with the licenses that I'm excited to see too whenever they get around to building them. I'm expecting a Mario Kart go-kart track, Donkey Kong mine cart rollercoaster-y thing, Kirby restaurant, Star Fox flight simulator, and something Pokemon-related (real life Pokemon Snap station or Safari Zone?) as they all seem like no-brainers.

And hopefully if this partnership is really successful than Disney will be coaxed to add KH attractions to their parks too. :3

Think we should get a Nintendo Direct of this?
