I really wish for Destiny Islands to be explorable in KH3. I want to see more of the place! I want to see what else is on the main island! I want to see what Sora's mom made for dinner!

Well, once they get Aqua back, they could just hide the Princesses of Heart in the Chamber of Waking, since apparently no version of Xehanort can ever figure out where that is. Problem solved.

They could do a lot of things, but you know they'll come up with some way to make it so that its' "inevitable"

But he hasn't sealed it yet. It's heart is still vulnerable.

 

The end of KH1 reset the worlds's barriers. Destiny Island and its Keyhole were restored and reset so that its Keyhole remains locked.

Yeah, just like I know that they could form the X-blade somewhere else because they feel like it, or just have the final fight be somewhere else, like, say, Destiny Islands.

I'd like to see Sora confronting his parents and Donald and Goofy would be there and Sora would be feeling all awkward and stuff.

I love it. The could really make it a hilarious/emotional scene.

 

 

Also, I find NPCs very important. They might not have any story-related significance but they fill the world and make it feel less empty.

I don't about you, but every World in the previous KH titles always felt pretty vacant to me. NPCs could easily change that.

Walking in the streets and talking about their shenanigans...

I'll repeat: I've made an entire thread about how Kingdom Hearts would benefit from having more NPCs. Interactive NPCs, too. (Which reminds me, I haven't done a thread like that in a while.)

 

Buuuuuuuuuut, the concept of the parents being NPCs is just underwhelming. I know that we pick on the idea of parents in general and the whole "Sora's Mom in KH1" voice clip, but seriously, after more than a decade of them being absent, them showing up in Destiny Islands in KH3 and doing nothing but being props that we can talk to and activate a text bubble with... that would just be abysmal. 

 

Why is it abysmal? Because they're our protagonist's parents. In that scenario, they're not going to be faceless entities who only exist to prove that "insert-Keyblade/Keyhole sex joke here", they're going to be living constructs that we can see and perceive as characters. Actual characters. I'm not saying they have to be fleshed out and interesting, necessarily, but they can at least lend a hand into the narrative if they're going to be cared about enough to actually exist. Otherwise, we might as well not even go to the town past the play island.

I would very much love to see more NPCs. It would be amazing for Sora's mom to freak about that her son has a GIANT FREAKING KEY.

I personally want to see Xehanorts life in Destiny Islands. Oh, and see Ursula again.
