So i was thinking the other day about who will fill the 13 pieces of darkness and the 7 pieces of light. More specifically, who will be the 7 pieces of light? I believe the ending of Kingdom Hearts III lies within this question. To answer it, we must accept a few things.20 individuals are needed to form the Xblade (13+7=20)Master Xehanort believes that the balance between light and darkness is out of order. There are currently 10 Keyblade wielders that protect light. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Lea, Xion, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, and Mickey. We will not be considering Eriquis for purposes of this argument.I'd been racking my brain on who/how they will decide who to take the 7 spots; rather, who will they exclude? They have all proven, in some way, that they hold the light and have committed themselves to protecting it. Then it hit me... it's not 13 pieces of darkness and 7 pieces of light; its 10 pieces of darkness and 10 pieces of light! Ok, at this point, your probably saying, "Joey, 2 things. First, you used the wrong 'your/you're' in this sentence. Also, we've seen that Master Xehanort has already gathered 12 of the 13 pieces of darkness." Yes he has, but 3 of them are problematic. First, there's Si'ax. Obviously, Lea is not ok with his best friend being a pawn of darkness, so he'll be fighting to save him. I think he will succeed. That's 1 down. Next, it has been long established that Ansem, Seeker of Darkness has been Sora's thorn. His memory haunts him. We saw this is Dream, Drop, Distance. Xemnes has been Riku's reminder of his past. So, what if Sora and Riku banish their haunting memories? That's 3 down!Master Xehanort was right when he said that Light and Darkness were unbalanced and needed to be corrected. He just wasn't right about which way the scales needed to shift. The scales will shift to bring the number of light pieces to equal the number of darkness. 10 and 10. BOOM! That'll be the big twist near the end of Kingdom Hearts III.
What was this guy thinking when they made this theory? I honestly don't get it. I mean, 10 lights and 10 darknesses?
