But later....Things would start to get serious as a villain by the name of Darkor plans to take over the island for it's mystical secrets. The island holds a number of Stars, Stars that are scattered across the island. In addition, special objects called Star Shards are scattered as well. Small little crystals that are very important as well. If one has all the stars, the being will have the ability to make 2 wishes come true! Plus, if all the Star Shards are gathered as well, the amount of wishes are doubled! And Darkor will stop at nothing to do that.....But little does he know that these kids won't give up easily either....Prepare yourselves! Protect Young Island and Be the Defenders of Stars!

 

 

One Month After Kids' Arrivals: Tatl's first visit:

 

"....That must be it.....Finally I made it!" Tatl exclaimed, after hours of flying with her fairy wings, she finally made it to Young Island. It was a pretty sight to see. Young Island was very big, with lots of sand and plenty of trees. A tall, rocky mountain with a giant star shaped marking on the top was in the middle of the island. It could even be seen from afar! As Tatl flew closer and closer, she flew around the mountain to see some houses were resting on the island. It was like a circle where each house laid. The one straight ahead was a treehouse. Another was on the left, looking like a normal house, but with dark color. On the right was a normal looking house, with some colors to add. (Satchel's House) There was one next to the colored house that seemed like a fenced house. (Ness's house) Tatl couldn't help but look in the window of the treehouse and see a Young Link and his roommate, Rief, sleeping in separate beds. She simply invited herself inside and flew through the window, beside Link's bed.

"Aww....He's cute when he's asleep...." She snickered. She took a deep breath and yelled out....

"WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD!!!"

Link jumped out of his bed and landed on the ground on his stomach. He lifted his head to see a teenage like fairy laughing. It couldn't be....But it was. "Hah! I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I couldn't help myself! It's me, Tatl! Don't you remember?"

~*~Rief~*~

Even though he probably hadn't spent more than two hours in Tatl's company, Rief was already finding himself rather exhausted watching the energetic fairy.  He noticed James's disappointment that Satchel did the majority of the cooking and turned to the young electric mouse.  "I'm sure it would be fine if you went ahead and made something in turn," Rief said, unaware of his plans to open a restaurant.  "Satchel does all of the cooking, yes, but that doesn't mean that the guy doesn't need a break once in a while.  I'm sure he'd more than appreciate it if you volunteered to help out.  I was thinking about doing the same, just because he's so busy."  The blue-haired mage slid his glasses up the bridge of his nose and smiled.  "Come on, let's head on over to Satchel's place now, and you can ask him what he thinks."

 

With Tatl taking the far lead, Rief began to follow slowly, waiting behind Tatl as she knocked on Satchel's door.

 

~*~Adeleine~*~

"Oh, Satchel!  Thank you, thank you!" the young artist cried, nearly dropping some glass plates in excitement.  Just imagine how lively she could get the place to look!  She was ecstatic.  She knew exactly what the kitchen needed, too: yellow walls with bright-colored cabinets, along with a vase of flowers in the center of the table and more flowers by the window.  Then she would paint a small design around the wall bordering the ceiling, though she wasn't convinced that flowers would appeal too greatly to Satchel.

 

It was then that a knock sounded on Satchel's door.  "I'll get it!" she told Satchel, shoving a stack of plates in his arms.  "You're busy getting things situated anyway.  It looks like your breakfast call reached a number of ears!"  Adeleine then bounced her way to the front door, humming cheerfully to herself as she usually did when in motion.  She opened it to find a very enthusiastic fairy, amongst other islanders.  Her eyes widened in surprise at Tatl's appearance and nearly fell backward.  "Uh, h--hello?  I haven't seen you before!"

Tatl simply giggled. "Probably not. Name's Tatl, friend of Link's!" She fluttered her wings and flew up "Guess I'm the center of attention for once! Hee Hee Hee!" She said. Link walked in after her, trying to make sure she doesn't get into any trouble.

James looked at Rief before going into Satchel's house with Kirby. "We could smell the breakfast, and there is no way we can do things when Kirby is hungry. Hope you have something to please him." James said with a smile and a laugh entering the house. James then looked at Satchel, 'There has to be a way to tell him. But what words do I use?' James thought to himself in his mind.

~Satchel/Paynt~ "Alright, guys! It's pancake day!" Satchel cheered as he readied the table. He had heard the knock at the door, and was very gracious of his roommate for her to answer it for him.

 

"Hello, Tatl! Do you want to eat with us?"  He asked nicely, smiling at the fairy.

 

"Ugh." Paynt remarked. His cheerful disposition was one that had annoyed her. Sure, there was nothing wrong with being cheerful, but with him, it was just constant.

 

"Whatever, man. You got butter?" She asked rudely, pointing towards the boy. He nodded, and handed over a bucket of the butter. She hadn't even taken a second glance before shoving most of the content onto her plate, and forking away.

"YES! Please." Tatl said, before flying to the table. She looked at Paynt's plate and tilted her head. "Wow. You must love butter for a....Squid girl."

"You have no idea." Ashley said, walking in with Popo.

Kirby just couldn't help himself when he saw the pancakes, as he started to open his mouth and suck in half of the pancakes that were made. James saw what Kirby was doing and used a small Disarming Voice attack on Kirby to get him to stop. "Excuse him, he just eats way too much." James said as he glanced at Kirby and started to laugh a little.

Ness went on to join them in breakfast, once he noticed the pancakes, he blurted out:

"Oh geez, diabetes on a plate. Oh well, rather eat it than something else."

After that, Ness went on to quickly eat his pancakes. Once finished, He zipped outside.

~Rief and Adeleine~

Everyone seemed to settle themselves inside quickly, each taking on a varying amount of pancakes.  Adeleine watched as Kirby inhaled them, while Ness gobbled some down and fled out the door.  It was a shame he couldn't even stop to chat, really; at least to thank Satchel for his hard work and dedication.  The artist sat herself between James and Satchel, dishing out a couple of pancakes to place on her own plate.  Rief did similarly across from her.

 

As the breakfast continued and everyone ate, Rief swallowed a bite of pancake and offered Satchel a thumbs up.  "These are really great, thanks for making them!"  And, without giving a second thought to James wanting to break the news himself, he added nonchalantly, "By the way, James and Kirby here were hoping to get a bit of the cooking duties to themselves.  I'm sure you won't mind the break, but just wanted to let you know they were interested."

 

It was around then that Adeleine overheard Paynt snapping at Satchel, to which she didn't take kindly at all.  Friends were friends, especially when friends were roommates, and she couldn't stand anyone being rude to her friends.  She rose and placed her hands on her hips.  "Well, excuse me!  Who ever invited you, anyway?  He made breakfast!  The least you could do is say 'thank you'!"

-Before Everyone eats-

 

Popo sat next to Reif on his left side with Tatl sitting across from him. Unfortunately, for Ashley, she had to sit next to the teenaged fairy on the right and Link sat next to Tatl on the left. "Before we eat, let's do our chant!" Popo suggested. "Uh, Chant? What kind of chant?" Tatl tilted her head in confusion and said. "Should we show her Link?" Popo asked and Link replied with a nod. He got up, followed by the other kids and they all said:

 

"We say this chant with heart by heart!"

"We're the kids of Young Island, brave and smart!"

"We may be small, but we're really tough too!"

"So bad guys beware, we'll be after you!"

 

"Wow....That's a pretty cool chant!" Tatl said, reaction to the chant said. Everyone seemed to say it cheerfully, except for Ashley who said in her normal monotone voice. "Alright! Let's eat!" She also said out loud.

 

-During them eating-

 

"Wow...This is best dish I've ever had!" Tatl exclaimed, finishing her plate while everyone else was still eating. "Huh!? You're already done?" Popo asked, who was still eating. "Flying here was pretty exhausting if you ask me, so uh, I was starving. But really, this is great!" Tatl said.

-Before Everyone eats-Popo sat next to Reif on his left side with Tatl sitting across from him. (Question, how do the silent characters say the chant? Cause Kirby isn't much of a talker.)

(Hmm......Well, I guess he could try some way to at least sound like he's saying the chant. Like saying he's "poyo" Language.

But in Link's case, he actually does say the chant!)

(I think I am going to go with that Kirby smiles and looks at James as he says the chant for the both of them, if that is okay.)

(Perfectly fine!)

~Satchel/Paynt~ "Oh, thank goodness!" Satchel cheered. "I was getting tired of cooking every single day since we got here. You guys can take over if you want!" Satchel looked at Paynt, not caring too much for her bluntness. "I have more butter, if you want more?" He offered her, kindly ignoring anything she might have been rude about. "Nah, I'm good." She turned to the woman who had bluntly attacked her. "Well, excuuuusse me, Princess! I'm sorry if I don't want to eat the same dang thing every single day of my life. I don't even know why I stay here! I could easily go back to my home any time I wanted to."

"Oh boy....Here we go. Round 1 of the day." Ashley said in monotone, watching the argument place. "Oh, I don't like it when this happens..." Said Popo.

~Rief and Adeleine~

The young artist's brows furrowed into a tight frown, her fists clenched at her sides.  She shot a glare at Paynt. Rudeness was something that Adeleine could hardly tolerate . . . like at all.  "Alright, that's it."  She leapt up from her seat, stood on the chair, and grasped a tube of green paint from her smock.  She then squeezed it, and boy did it squirt out!  A jet of green paint leapt from the tube and flew onto Paynt, splattering her mercilessly.  Unfortunately those around got a bit of the paint, too.

 

Rief watched the scene in horror, nearly allowing the pancake to fall from his mouth.  He groaned and slid back in his chair, sinking slowly underneath the table.  "This is going to transform into an all-out war, isn't it?" he asked no one in particular.

"It seems obvious." Tatl answered back. Link gulped. This was bad. If this went any farther, the entire house would be covered in paint and ink! But he knew one person hat could handle it better than him. He faced Ashley.

"What?.......Oh fine." Ashley could tell right away by the way Link looked at her. "But I'll only do it cause I hate that squid-kid." She said before stepping out of her seat and teleporting next to Paynt. "Will you two just quit it and let it go before someone gets hurt?" She said demandingly, then shoots a glare at Paynt. "And don't even say that she started it or else...." She put her hand on one of Paynt's tentacle hair. "I'll personally cut off one of these with delight and use it in one of my potions. There is an ingredient that requires one colored squid tentacle." Ashley smirked devilishly.

Link thought, not the best way to handle it, but if anyone could handle Paynt right.....It was Ashley. Popo whispered to Tatl, walking over to her. "I forgot to mention. Ashley's a witch.....Witch-In-Training."

 

"A witch? Her?......That explains a lot." Tatl responded, whispering back.

But before anyone else could do anything else, the ground started to rumble like in an earthquake as something fell from the sky near the back of where everyone's houses were. The objected turned out to be Bowser Jr.'s Castle, meaning Bowser Jr. was just moving in to the island.

 

James and Kirby wondered what was happening outside. "What was that?" James asked aloud when the rumbling stopped.

Ness ran back inside from practicing swinging his bat, once it subsided.

"Is everyone alright?" He shouted, while also going around the house.

~Satchel/Paynt~ "Guys... please don't do this in my house..." Satchel spoke, trying to keep everyone calm. Meanwhile, Paynt was ready to give that girl a lesson she wouldn't soon forget... but Ashley threatened her, so she stopped immediately.

"Umm......Guys? Come look at this. Looks like we have a new neighbor." Tatl said, looking out the window, along with Popo and Link. It was a castle. A big castle. Landing right on the island. "Woah....A castle! I wonder who lives there." Popo asked. "Probably someone with bad manners if that person caused all that rumbling." Ashley responded. "What do you say we go and meet this new islander?" Tatl asked and turned to face Link. "Link? You in?" Link responded with a nod and walked outside. This was a crazy day already. First, Tatl's unexpected visit and behavior, a castle landing on the island what else could the rest expect?

Link, followed by Popo, Ashley, Tatl, and possibly the rest of the kids, stood 5 feet away from the colored castle. It was a HUGE one indeed.

"I'm guessing by the stoned face, that's the guy that moved in." Ashley said, pointing at the Bowser Jr. stoned face.

"I hope he's nice!" Popo said.

Suddenly, appearing on top of the castle on a stone pillar was Bowser Jr. "So you guys are the islanders I have heard many things about. Papa would have loved this place." Bowser Jr said thinking a wicked thought of how the island could have been taken down easy by Bowser. Bowser Jr then jumped down to the ground where he landed perfectly and looked at the group. "The name is Bowser Jr. I am the Koopa Prince, destined to take my father's place in line one day! But you guys have nothing to fear with me, I am not the bad guy, in fact I came to this island to make some friends. And also, sorry about the small earthquake, my castle was built back home and I had to bring it here myself, and there really was no choice in the matter." Bowser Jr. said with a nice sorry look on his face. For some reason, he didn't seem to be his usually self to the islanders. He was playing nice and trying to be good. This was all part of his plan.

Link, Tatl, and Popo looked at Bowser Jr. with all attention. But Ashley was the only one that looked at him suspiciously. She didn't seem to trust him yet. Not one bit...

Tatl petted the little prince's head. "It's okay little guy. My name's Tatl The Fairy and this is Link." She greeted Bowser Jr., then whispered. "He doesn't talk much." Popo walked over, skipping along to meet this new face and shaking the new kid's hand. "You can call me Popo!" Then Ashley walked over. "And my name's Ashley. Got it memorized? You better."

Bowser Jr looked at Tatl and Link and smiled. "Nice to meet you, and don't worry about the talking thing, many of papa's friends don't talk a lot." Bowser Jr said with a smile. He then looked over at Popo. "Wait, you are Popo, I have heard many things about you. It's am honor to finally meet you." Bowser Jr said with a smile (this part was for Smash Bros purposes!). Bowser Jr then listened to Ashley. "Is this girl supposed to be scary, cause it is kind of effective." Bowser Jr said being a bit afraid of Ashley.

 

James looked at Bowser Jr. "My name is James, and that over there is Kirby. Kirby isn't much of a talker either, but he does speak in his own special way, so I can understand him. Also, I am what is known as a Pichu, a Pokemon that is an electric mouse, but I used to be human, but became a Pichu in a way I don't even know." James said with a smile.

 

Bowser Jr smiled. "That is interesting, but I have seen weirder so it doesn't surprise me as much." Bowser Jr said with a smile.

~Rief and Adeleine~

The blue-haired youth let out a sigh of relief, glad that Ashley broke up the fight between the two.  He knew both Paynt and Adeleine, and while both could be civil there were times where they seriously *couldn't* be.  Rief withdrew from his seat and made his way over to Ashley, where she stood greeting a newcomer.  She didn't like him, that much was obvious, but there was still something about the witch that made Rief respect her--no, want to befriend her.  The youth pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose and nodded.  "H--hey, Ashley . . . .  I just wanted to say thank you.  For breaking that up, I mean."  He then extended a hand toward Bowser Jr.  "Welcome to the Island!  I hope you enjoy your stay here, uh, Bowser Jr., you say?  Who's Bowser senior?"

 

Meanwhile, Adeleine looked dismally at the table, floor, chairs, and surrounding people, all splattered with paint.  She didn't mean to cause such a mess; she just wanted to get back at Paynt for her rudeness.  She turned a shameful glance toward Satchel.  "S--sorry, Satchel.  I just didn't want her to talk to you like that."
