30 years ago, a man somehow obtained the legendary Mask of Loki, an item of amazing powers (and crazy expressions and gags) and that man would become a completely different figure known as The Mask. The Mask of Loki was very dangerous to control and was thrown into the ocean by the main user. But 30 years later (Not counting the events in Son of The Mask!) A new holder of The Mask was found. And this one....Was a girl. Now she possess the Mask and every night she wears it, being tempted by it. But using the powers, she is a super hero, but her identity is unknown. And on top of that, viscous danger rises in the location of New York. A Mad Scientist group known as "Chaos" plan to use their technology to brainwash people, make the human race more superior, and change the entire world completely....With them as leaders, but The Mask stands in their way, and Chaos pledges that whoever stands in their way will be destroyed. Now others strive to see The Mask and want to know who it really is....Also....To wear it.....

~New York Time Square~

 

"EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it! The Green Masked Menace strikes again!" A newspaper said at a stand on the sidewalk. People surrounded it to just get an update on the infamous nocturnal hero. Young 16 year old, Mary Louie was on the other side of the sidewalk watching. She sighed and smiled.

 

"The public....They always want more."

"I'm not sleeping in bed with him! He was only helping me!" She exclaimed. "Also you know how I am. When someone does something nice to me I wanna hug them. I don't get treated nicely by other people that often..." She coughed and sits on the bed. "I don't feel well"

"Wait. Mary!" He remembers the girl from earlier that day. "Are you sure!"

"Ooh!" Masked Mary exclaimed. With one spin, she was dressed as a doctor. "The doctor will see you now, Ms. Serenity!" In a blink of an eye, she was right beside Serenity. She had suitcase full of different tools. She spoke while she looked through it. "What should we start with first? Temperature? Eyes? Blood Pressure? Heart beat? Breathing? Oooh!" She pulled a big hammer and smiled really big. "Reflex?"

"Mary no! Bad Mary! Bad!" She coughed again and looks at her. "I rather have a real doctor check me than you because I'm afraid that you'll hurt me like the last couple of times you did before. I'm sorry Mary but unless you have something to make me feel better?"

"Girl, you jivin'! I'm not ALL bad! Besides, I was just kidding. Can't ya take a joke?" She put the hammer back in the suitcase and brings out the the bag of sweets and puts it on the bed. She span around back into her original attire. She pulled out a pocket watch and looked at it. "Oh! Will you look at that? It's about 5 seconds before I do something else!" She already spent 3 seconds saying that. So after 2, she threw it away and put her hands on her face. She was pulling very hard. Her clothes started to revert back to Mary Louie's original yellow clothing. And finally she took off the Mask, back to her original, ponytail haired, appearance, holding the Mask in her hand. "Whew! Okay, I'm back." She looked at Arbor. "Um, sorry to barge in on this, but you got a phone I could borrow?"

Arbor seems baffled and nods slowly without saying anything. He then slowly points to the one on the receiver in the next room. "Um. I. UH...."

"For real? I was already doing it..." thought Cyrus.

 

Cyrus rushed again in front of C, and landed an upward punch at his belly.

Mary Louie put her hand on Arbor's shoulder. "I'll explain everything later. Right now, I need to call a doctor." She said before she ran to the phone, making a phone call.

"Ugh my head, it hurts. Ahh..." She lay back down on the bed and cover herself with the blanket. Then she looked at Arbor and smiled. "Does this happens a lot to you? Hehe... Well I'm gonna get some rest." Then she turned to Mary "I think that should be enough for tonight."

"Are you sure about this Serenity? You need a doctor right now." She said, holding the phone. Even if her friend said she was fine when she really wasn't, Mary Louie was determined to help her.

Arbor just watched the two, shaking his head no to Serenity's question. "I agree with Mary. We should call a doctor."

Serenity whined and covered her face with a pillow. "Fine! But I'm surprised that Arbor didn't freak out as much when Mask Mary came in here. Also Mary you ok with him knowing?"

Mary Louie sighed. She already knew what she had done. "Might as well be. You mind explaining this to him while I make the call?" She asked while she dialed the phone number in.

Arbor looks at Serenity. "So she is......" He pauses to process again, seeming seeming the answer. His air of ingnorance seemed to be lifted for the time being and he seems to ponder the possibilities.

"Uh I doubt you'll be able to get a doctor to come here. Its really late. I know that both of you must be worried about me. But I'm not sick where I'm gonna die. Please let me sleep. Then we can go to doctor in the morning alright? Please?" Serenity soon closed her eyes as she held onto the pillow. "Mary I think you should tell him who you are..." Her words trailed off as she slowly fell asleep

Mary sighed. And maybe Serenity was right. What kind of doctor would be up at this hour? She nodded in response to Serenity. Mary Louie walked towards Arbor, holding The Mask in her hand. "I know this seems all of the sudden, but you really have to listen to this....I'm the Green Masked Menace. And it's all thanks to this thing right here." She looked down at The Mask. "To be honest, I don't know much about this Mask. All I know is that it transforms me completely and only works at night."

"Uh huh....." Arbor directs Mary out of the bedroom so Serenity can sleep. "That seems a bit too far fetched to be truth" he replies

Mary Louie put her hands on her hips. "Says the guy that just saw me take The Mask off in person!" She said. "Look, it's a secret that I need to keep away from the media because if they find out I'm The Mask, bad guys will know who I am, find me, and potentially get revenge! But..." She looked at the Mask in her hand. "It's always so tempting to wear it for some reason. It's like.....An addiction to be honest."

"You make a good point but it all seems like it was pulled from a comic book." Says Arbor as he enters his kitchen and pulls out pans and spoons. Preparing to cook something at this late hour

"Even I didn't believe myself when I first tried it on! But.....If you still don't believe me, maybe I need more proof. Excuse me for moment..." She said. She looked back at The Mask and put it back on, with flashes going off and her spinning round and around until finally stopping next to Arbor, with the green face, green long hair, black zoot suit, and of course, that smile. "Purrrr...." She said, rolling the r. " 'Scuse me, honey. Gotta go make a quick stop." She said before dashing off somewhere out the window. And in seconds, was right behind Arbor. "BACK!" She said holding a megaphone.

Serenity runs and tackled Mask Mary by surprised. "Listen, when you put on that mask. You aren't very quiet. You are very loud." Her voice became caustic as she sneered back at her best friend. Serenity, was choleric about sleeping. "I love you ok? You already know how I am. But when I don't get sleep, I become a BEAST. Its simple as that. Now do me a favor and go somewhere else to do your crazy things." She then turned to Arbor and sighed. "Please turn everything off, and go to bed. We're going to sleep now. I MEAN IT." Serenity let go of her best friend and walked back to bed. "Good night!"

"Well..." Masked Mary exclaimed, brushing herself off. "Guess I'd better head off. Oh, uh..." She got very close to Arvor and whispers to him. "Keep this little a hush-hush, you hear? Good!" She smiled and pat him on the head before running off out into the night.

 

-Next Day: June 7th, Sunday-

 

A knock on the door was made at 7:30 in the morning at Arbor's apartment. It was Mary Louie. She wanted to see how Serenity was doing and to apologize about last night.

*Serenity is still sleeping*

Arbor opened the door "oh your back.... And not green. Good. I think I made too much food so please help yourself, Serenity is still asleep" he told her while wearing a black apron with the phrase "Best Son Ever"

"Yeah. By the way, sorry about last night." She looked to make sure no one else was listening and whispered. "Whenever I put that thing on, I'm just not myself." She then walked inside.
