30 years ago, a man somehow obtained the legendary Mask of Loki, an item of amazing powers (and crazy expressions and gags) and that man would become a completely different figure known as The Mask. The Mask of Loki was very dangerous to control and was thrown into the ocean by the main user. But 30 years later (Not counting the events in Son of The Mask!) A new holder of The Mask was found. And this one....Was a girl. Now she possess the Mask and every night she wears it, being tempted by it. But using the powers, she is a super hero, but her identity is unknown. And on top of that, viscous danger rises in the location of New York. A Mad Scientist group known as "Chaos" plan to use their technology to brainwash people, make the human race more superior, and change the entire world completely....With them as leaders, but The Mask stands in their way, and Chaos pledges that whoever stands in their way will be destroyed. Now others strive to see The Mask and want to know who it really is....Also....To wear it.....

~New York Time Square~

 

"EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it! The Green Masked Menace strikes again!" A newspaper said at a stand on the sidewalk. People surrounded it to just get an update on the infamous nocturnal hero. Young 16 year old, Mary Louie was on the other side of the sidewalk watching. She sighed and smiled.

 

"The public....They always want more."

He closes the door "I figured as much." He replies as he returns to the kitchen where he puts scrambled eggs, bacon, and bowls of fruit out on a small table.

Serenity was sleeping peacefully in Arbor's bed. "I'm sorry...sorry...I didn't mean to..." She mumbled in her sleep. Then she sniffed the air. "Food?" Serenity started to move abit. Then she slowly fell off from bed, her face hitting the floor. "Owww...I smell food!"

"I think I heard Serenity. The only person I know who would wake immediately and fall off the bed is her." Mary Louie said. "Oh um, by the way, I did schedule an appointment with a doctor for Serenity. About 9:30 she said."

"Ok........." Arbor seems confused, unsure why this information was conveyed unto him.

Cyrus woke in a flash. He was on a cozy bed in a dark room.

 

"Where am I? Wasn't I sparring with C? What happened..." thought Cyrus without remembering much.

~In Chaos Lab~

 

E opened the door to Cyrus's room and switched on the light. "Ah, I see that you're awake now."

"What happened? Wasn't I fightning C?" asked Cyrus to E.

"Yes. But let's just say that you fought for so long that fell asleep. Come on. We have breakfast waiting for you at the table." E said, in that same generous tone.

Serenity got up and stretched. She walked up to Arbor and Mary to face them. "I-I umm I'm sorry." Her voice was shaking then she blushed as she hugged them both. "I'm sorry you guys! I didn't mean to snap at you both! I was really tired. I'm sorry. Please forgive me!"

"Awww, it's okay Serenity." Mary said with a smile. "Besides, you weren't yourself at the time and I'm glad you're feeling better."

Cyrus doubted that was the case, but he went with E anyways.

She smiled back at Mary then plays with Arbor's hair. "You and I are friends now. But remember to keep this "Mask" thing a secret got it? Or I will break you" she giggled.

Mary nervously laughed for Serenity's comment to Arbor. But then she remembered. The appointment. Now she was starting to take it back now seeing Serenity. But Mary had to tell her. "Umm....So at 9:30, I scheduled an appointment for you and uh...It's at that time...Heh heh..." She said, nervously chuckling again.

Arbor nods as he looks at the two girls "This has been an interesting two days. The most intriguing two days in my life to be honest." He says as he appears unaware of his words. His air of ignorance seems heavier than it was at night, possible due to it being morning.

Serenity snickered at the words Mary said. She held on to Arbor's arm. "Haha that must be a joke. I'm completely fine. You can cancelled that appointment please. Also I got a new friend now! Its Arbor!" Serenity smiled at him then looked at the clock. "Hmm well I should get going"

Mary Louie giggled at Serenity's happy mood. "Okay, okay. I'll call them then." Mary looked at the clock as well. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Mary looked at Arbor, smiling. "Thanks again for letting her stay here last night Arbor."

"..........huh? Oh yeah sure, no problem." Arbor is obviously not paying much attention. "Any time..." He smiles

Mary Louie began to walk to the door. "Come on, Serenity. We're leaving now."

"Yeah yeah" She ran out the door and hugged her friend "You owe me big time"

"Yeah....Pretty much." Mary responded. She waved good-bye to Arbor walked out with Serenity. "Have you ever thought of wearing The Mask?" She suddenly asked while walking.

"The Mask eh? Well sometimes yeah but I'm not sure what I become if I'll wear it. In fact can anybody handle it. Besides you?" She asked as she continued walking with her. "Also I like to continue exploring the city if ya don't mind?"

"I'm the only one so far." Mary answered. She then smiled.  "Sure, no problem! Let's take a little stroll." 

"No no no no." She put her finger on Mary's lip. "By myself please. You can go to a movie theater or something to spend your day" She smiled

"Um...Okay." She said slowly walking away. "Have fun!" She yelled back at her friend while walking away.

 

Chaos Lab: After Breakfast

 

"The transporter is ready, Cyrus. Whenever you would like to use it." A male member of Chaos said.
