Nintendo of Japan recently posted over twitter that Splatoon has sold over one million copies worldwide.

This is a pretty amazing feat for a new IP on a console with a small install-base compared to its competitors, and its only been out for a very short time.

Im of course glad this game has sold well, I am in love with the game, and I hope this means that Splatoon is here to stay for a long while.

It's nice to see it's selling so well. It's definitely one of the best games on the Wii U! Can't wait until Splatfest!
