This past week or so, I made a thread freaking out about whether we will actually get to see the KH3 footage that will be shown at the Expo. While no recording of MOVIE footage is allowed, the same restriction does not seem to apply for video games. Below is a video of Disney Interactive's first show at D23 (in 2013) that was recorded by someone. None of the footage was officially released, but recording was allowed of the whole presentation!I'm sure I was the only one freaking out about this, but it is reassuring. Don't watch the whole thing (it is terribly long), but watch the first 7 minutes if you have the time to get the gist of the presentation structure. Hopefully, whatever's planned concerning Kingdom Hearts III in D23 will be something everyone will be able to see!  Because November is still a ways off, and I can't wait that long for juicy news regarding this godly game!!!  Gahhhh, what will D23 hold for us!!!??? X_X

True, but again, referring to Nomura's comment about the abundance of unseen KHIII footage they recorded and didn't end up using, I am pretty sure we'll get some kind of trailer or something like that. Especially with the EN voice-acting known to be underway. My only question is if we'll see the release date, they could save that for Japan.

I hope so, it would be completely unfair to build it up and then only show it privately. As for a release date, I'm hoping sometime next fall. FFXV is slated for next year, and Final Fantasy games are often released in February or March and they're supposedly shootine for a simultaneus global release. They said KH3 wouldn't release until after FFXV and the last several games have come out, in America at least, between November and December. Since they've obviously already started dubbing, hopefully that will see international releases at the same time as well. Personally, my (extremely optimistic) hope is for FFXV in March and KH3 in November.

I'd rather have a December 2016 release: it'd be the most profitable month to release the game and it provides time to fix unwarranted bugs.

 

Usually, D23 footage gets shown eventually so I'm not too fazed as to weather we all see it by the time it debuts!
