(Spoilers for Big Hero 6)

So it's confirmed as we all know that Darkness has taken over the old Baymax in the portal. What's interesting though, the Microbots are also in the portal. At the ending of the movie, Hiro and everyone knocked all the Microbots into the portal. If the Heartless can control Baymax after gaining access to him from the portal, they could easily just as well access the scattered Microbots in the portal. In the picture we saw of Sora riding on Baymax, we saw what looked to be like a claw made out of Microbots. Because of this, it's safe to think that the Microbots are either not only going to be an additional danger along with the old Baymax, but the Microbots could also be an entire separate enemy on its own.

 

And another thing; if the Heartless can control Baymax, they could control other robots in general. There's a possibility that the heartless in that world could be just robots made by Hiro and the gang controlled by the Darkness. That would be very interesting. (Cue Hiro's fighter robot as a mini boss?)

 

What are your thoughts on it? I really love where they're going with this.

Hmmm.......Dark Baymax + Nanobots of Death = DOOOOM

OMG so glad I wasn't the only one that noticed the huge claw seemed to be made of nanobots! I so agree with you.

Well I believe in KH2 there was a heartless that were known as Possessors, so its not suprising a vessel like Baymax could be taken over given the right conditions, however, Im not sure how that would apply towards microbots though, the way they work is that they are controlled by one guy as they perform a hivemind effect.

While  nanabots can be controlled by heartless, I believe it be more along the lines of one main boss type of heartless controlling all of them, that or a new corrupt villian, and youd have to stop them to stop the bots, like the movie.

That's true. There could be also a heartless boss itself controlling the Microbots, but I don't think the heartless will need the control headband to use them. After all, I'd imagine there could be a way for the Heartless to manipulate the Microbots especially since they're a supernatural entity and not human entity. The Heartless were able to possess stone statutes with the Possessors too in KH2.

I think old Baymax will be using the Microbots since how it it looked on the concept art that looked like it was covered with the Microbots so may that's what it will be

This may be slightly off topic, but in Disney Infinity, Hiro's power is controlling the Microbots as he was the original inventor of them before they were taken away by Robert Callaghan. Now, I believe that Hiro may have control of some microbots of his own by recreating and recalibrating them for himself. 

 

As far as the Microbots go, they can't be entities of their own. They're controlled neurotelepathically (as stated by Hiro in his demonstration). So, either the darkness in dark Baymax is controlling the microbots, or, Xehanort or another antagonistic has control of the microbots and is using the original Baymax to do their bidding.
