The day was sunny and the temperature was high as a fresh new week dawned on the city of Reo. A young boy by the name of Roxas was currently skating around the sidewalks and streets toward a skating park he usually went to. Considering summer vacation had just started, Roxas should be very relaxed and excited to enjoy the vacation. This wasn't the case at all. Lately the teen has been very stressed... For the past week he has been arguing with his father to the point where Roxas even storms out of the house to only return hours or even a day later. Usually he would just ride around in his skateboard but even that was a problem as well... Lately, his tricks have been getting dangerous. So dangerous that he almost snapped his arm in half if it wasn't for the fact he managed to fall on his back and not his arm. All of this started right after he began to have those... Dreams. Roxas could vividly picture them. Running... Darkness... Creatures in black chasing him. Grabbing him and dragging him into an abyss. Each night he would wake up sweating unable to go back to sleep night after. Roxas grew restless. But now he had to try and calm himself down.

"Maybe I could play baseball later..." He muttered to himself. "Or go to one of those Mo0nFir3 concerts..."

Shooting up, eyes wide, she was out of bed, her clothes flashing to her Stalker-Hunter Garb. Blade already in sheath, she ran a hand through her hair, and rolled her shoulders.

"Once you feel better catch up, Faux. I'll go on ahead." She threw him some keys. "My motorcycle. Don't break it." she brushed past him, and sprinted.

Downstairs she ran past her motorcycle and over to where her company car was. A black sedan, she slid in and turned the key, the engine roaring to life. The woman gunned it, lights and sirens going. She had to get to Central Park, and soon. She bit her lip, and blew past a red light, not caring.

"I thought I had them at bay...damn, damn, damn!"

-Xion and Namine-

The two had arrived to find out...they had the day off. Sighing and changing to normal clothes, they were on their way to the store to get some groceries when they found the stage getting ready. Looking at each other, Namine slumped.

"Okay."

Xion wanted to do something different, and the look in her eye said this. So Namine relented, if only to make Xion smile...of course, it was Central Park.

(Sorry to see you go, Shard, but I'm sure we all understand.  Good luck!)

Zexion rolled up the sleeves on his shirt and closed his eyes for a moment.

"Ok here we go-" He opened his eyes to see that all the staff had vanished. He also noticed that the rumbling chatter of the crowd had silenced itself. Zexion's eyebrows furrowed and he walked over to where the band for that night was supposed to be setting up. Maybe they needed help and had called his guys over without Zexion noticing.

"Hey everything alright?" He called walking further into the backstage area.

(Aww I'm sorry to hear you go! I hope all is doing well and I hope to see you in another rp soon!)-Faux-Faux was going to immediately protest before he took a step forward. He couldn't help but kneel down for a moment to rest. This weakness worried him. To feel this weak... Meant that the Phantoms were strong. Very strong. "I'll be right behind you." Faux called as Lightning left. There was no way he could let her fight alone.-Roxas-Meanwhile Roxas really was unsure as to what was going on. Just a second ago he was about to watch Mo0nFir3 perform. The next second everyone's gone, and it was freezing. It was just so cold... Too cold. But it was summer. He looked to Xigbar."Yeah... I did pay for this either." He uttered before following Xigbar to head towards the exit. Suddenly, a dark phantom rose from the ground in front of the two. By looking at the dark void that was the phantom's face Roxas could hear... Whispers. Cries. Even screams. It shook Roxas to the core and he fell back over one of the seats as he tried to get the hell out of there."W-WHAT IS THAT!?" He yelled. The phantom reached out for the two.

-Xigbar-

The man's eyes widened in shock, his jaw parting slightly.  Before Roxas and Xigbar stood two dark Phantoms, ominous in appearance and ready to grasp the two the moment they could.  By then the room seemed to drop by at least ten degrees, causing Xigbar to shiver in his sleeveless leather jacket.  Emitted from the Phantoms were strange sounds, one that Xigbar had to strain his ears to hear.  At first he thought he was fully imagining things, and yet it all felt so real.

"Holy crap!" he shouted as one lunged toward him.  He sidestepped out of the way, though when he glanced over to check on Roxas he'd noticed that he'd fallen over a row of seats.  Poor kid, he looked worse than even Xigbar felt.  "This is sick!  Zexion's illusions have just gone a tad too far this time!  Hang on, Kiddo!"  Nearby was a desk and chair, and, being the only plausible weapon in Xigbar's reach, he grasped the chair and flung it in the direction of the Phantoms, hoping it would cause them to at least stagger so he and Roxas could make a break for it.  Again Xigbar rushed over to Roxas, this time pulling him up by the front of his shirt.  "C'mon, the emergency exit!"  He let go and began leaping over and dodging around rows of seats to reach the emergency exit near the stage.  He only hoped that they could beat it out of there before the Phantoms had a say in the matter.

-Light-

The Phantoms had nothing to say in the matter, as the Emergency Exit was kicked open, and a hail of gunfire slammed into one of the Phantoms. Lightning stepped through, gun twirling as she reloaded, and slid around the running people, firing and downing all she could. Her armor changed to the Paladin outfit, and she jumped, sword changing. She deftly cut a Phantom in half, landing behind Xigbar and Roxas.

"Keep running. These monsters are mine."

She switched back to normal and began advancing, summoning a second Blazefire Saber to add to her impressive gunfire.

-NamiXi-

The two were huddled in a corner. Namine had been slightly trampled by frantic people and Xion was trying to help her. Head bleeding, Xion used some of her own clothing to hold her head.

"Help! Someone help!" She cried futiley. The Phantoms advanced...and were swiftly dealt with. Lightning stood before them, sabers reloading.

"Where is your vehicle."

"We have none, we can't -"

"Black sedan, ten feet from the door." Keys dropped in her lap. "Get her into the back and wait for me. There's a gun in the glovebox if you need it." She raised her rifles. "I'll deal with them."

Xion watched as the woman sprinted, and began the most awe-inspiring acrobatic combat feat marathon she'd ever seen. But she didn't stay. Adrenaline and panic gripped her, causing Xion to pick up Namine and just run.

-Roxas-

Roxas looked over to Lightning, eyes wide. What the hell was going on?!

"But what ARE those things?!" He asked, before relalizing when more Phantoms showed up that maybe it was best to just act now and ask the questions later. He looked over to Xigbar and then over to the emergency exit.

"I really hope your stupid bike is here..." He uttered, before bolting to the exit. What shocked him however, was the sounds of... Growling. From the shadows in the emergency exit, came two large vicious hounds, thick ink dripping from their teeth as they looked at their prey. In two steps however, they turned instantly invisible.

"Not that way...!" Roxas turned around, and just started to volt over the rows of seats. He wasn't about to get his face chomped off.

(Hope it's okay that I made one of the invisible wolves attack him?)

-Xigbar-

"Hey, Roxas, come back!" Xigbar shouted, still standing several feet from the emergency exit.  "They're swarming in droves over there; we can't get out that way.  C'mon, this is our best bet."  Truth be told, Xigbar hadn't seen the wolves that Roxas had, and thus he thought Roxas was running away for no apparent reason.  It was in that moment that Xigbar had to decide whether to play hero or save himself.

Self-preservation won over.

Just as he made his way over to the door, however, a searing pain dug into his leg.  A howl emitted from the middle-aged man, and he felt something wet and hot rub against his hand.  Still, he couldn't see the wolves that attacked him, but he knew that *something* was there.  This is getting just darn creepy, he thought, panicked.  Finally he managed to tug his leg free, though it was apparent that blood soaked through his jeans.  Maybe the kid was right after all.

Desperate to get away and stumbling in pain, Xigbar awkwardly climbed over rows of seats and trailed behind Roxas, remaining several feet behind the fast-moving kid.  "What's your plan B?" he shouted over to Roxas, hoping and praying that his menace wasn't following him to stab him some more.  "I trust you've got one?"  It was then that he realized a pale-haired woman fought these creatures tooth and nail, executing her moves with finesse effortlessly.  He wanted to stop and talk, try to convince her that he'd seen her at the bar before, but now wasn't the time.  Right now he didn't know if she was a friend or foe, and he couldn't guarantee that he'd make it over to her alive.

-Lightning-

With the two girls now cut off, she leapt over and grabbed them both, before landing beside Xigbar and Roxas.

"Can anyone summon weapons? Anyone? Keyblades, arrowguns, staffs anything?" She demanded, still firing. "Because my backup is of course late and my only way to escape it outside that emergency exit."

(Sorry for the delay, gang)

"How about something more practical?" Saix asked as he fired on the Phantoms with a Glock G26 Subcompact.

He took up a position next to Lightning, taking a knee. He was rather surprised how calm he was feeling now. Though he had never been in a situation like this and had only practiced with his pistol at a gun range, he felt at ease with the situation.

"Something to think about later." He thought.

Axel appeared by Roxas, hefting a guitar like a battle axe.

"You alright, Roxas?" He asked, looking around for something freaky trying to attack him.

-Xigbar-

A frown creased Xigbar's brow as as Lightning went down her list of plausible weapons.  "Oh, I don't know, Buttercup.  If I start listing things that I don't have am I supposed to assume that they'd magically appear?"  At that moment one of the dark creatures swooped down at him, causing him to bring up a broken metal bar in defense.  He'd found it on the ground and assumed it had once been a part of the seating.  Either way, it was his weapon now.  He brandished it threateningly, shooting a wry grin over at Lightning.  "Got this.  That good?"

Soon Xigbar saw the two lead singers of Mo0nFir3 appear at their side.  Saix grasped a pistol and began shooting at the phantoms, while Axel looked as though he were ready to put his guitar to good use.  They approached Roxas concernedly, and Xigbar had to admit he felt a bit defensive for the kid, too.

Finally, Xigbar's gaze strayed to Lightning once more.  "You said that emergency exit's our only way out, right?  Well, let's get a plan.  We need to set a decoy, get them away from the door long enough so one of us can get to the other side.  Maybe we can lure them out; I don't know."

-Roxas-

Everything was a blur. What the hell was going on? Just a few minutes ago he was enjoying the warm summer evening. Now it was freezing and there was monsters everywhere trying to kill him. For a few seconds Xigbar left him, but rejoined him in bolting over the chairs after the emergency exit plan failed.

"Oh, now you want to come follow me after you decided to ditch me just now?!" The comment distracted him, and Roxas tripped over one of the rows before falling right on to the cold hard concrete.

"Ugh..." He rubbed his head, looking over to Lightning, who was asking for weapons.

"Keyblade??" Roxas asked, sitting up. "What do I look like? A weapon expert? I don't even know what that is!" Suddenly, Axel and Saïx showed up. And... They were fighting. Not gonna lie, that made Mo0nFir3 ten times more cooler.

"Uhuh..." Roxas said, nodding in response to Axel's question. "I'm okay..." Roxas paused. He heard... More growling. And it sounded dangerously close. Roxas was good to look around to figure out where it was coming from that is, until he felt wet warm breathing right on his face.

"N-No..." Roxas breathed, frozen in fear. Suddenly however, the hound in front of him was cut into and thrown all the way across the rows of seats from a dark bat-wing shaped sword. The hound made a loud whimper. There stood a cloaked figure. It was Faux.

"I'll handle it from here!" He shouted, shooting a ball of blue fire at another hound. "Just take them to safety light!"

"I'm trying!" She shouted back. With NaXi at her heels, she summoned her extra weapons. Throwing Xigbar her service Glocks 19 and then summoning a few blades.

To Roxas, she threw the Ul'dahn Blade. To Xion, Kikuichimonji. And finally, she let the katana Thirteen Nights stab into the floor before Axel.

"Take your weapons!" She bellowed. "They are as close to your originals as I can get..." she paused, then summoned and tossed the Ul'dahn Shield to Axel. "Close enough! Faux, cover the Organization members! I'll get the girls and Roxas!" She tugged the boy over, still firing.

"We head from my car Faux! It'll be a tight fit but most of them are skinny. On my go we run, and kill everything in our pth."

((Let me know if I missed anyone.))

-Xigbar-

He ignored Roxas's snide remark for the most part, mostly because things were too crazy around them to get into such a petty argument.  Shadowy phantom creatures lurked around every corner, and those wolves were really starting to give him the chills, almost literally.  Finally Lightning, seeming unfazed by Xigbar's words, threw a gun in his direction, doing the same for everyone.  He picked it up and brandished it.  It was cold in his hands, yet somehow it felt like he truly knew how to use one of these.  He couldn't fathom why, however, since he'd never wielded a gun in his life.  "Uh, 'scuse me, Buttercup, but I think handing me a gun was a bad idea.  My target practice is a bit off and I might just slip up and shoot the wrong target; know what I mean?"  Suddenly a Phantom swooped up from behind him, its shadowy cloak brushing against Xigbar's shoulder and sending a chill down his spine.  For a moment it stared at him, before making a sudden charge and causing Xigbar to do the only thing that seemed reasonable: shoot it.

For a moment Xigbar hesitated, glancing at the gun momentarily before nodding in assent to Lightning's command.  "I think that's the best plan we've got so far.  Okay, we do what you do, but don't blame me if someone gets shot."  In the back of his mind, however, her words were eating at his insides.  Why did she refer to him as an Organization member?  He'd have to ask her later, but not until they were on safer ground.

Axel nearly jumped as the katana Lightning summoned for him appeared before him. He looked at it, looked at the guitar he was holding, then back at the katana. Shrugging, he slung the guitar on his back and pulled the sword out of the ground. This could fun after all. He admired the blade for a few seconds, and was hit by the shield.

"Hey!" He cried as he picked up the shield.

He wasn't sure he liked the shield, but they had their uses, he supposed.

"What do you mean 'organization members'?" Saix asked Lightning, double tapping a Wraith.

He was back on his feet, prepared to move with the others as necessary.

"And what they hell are these things?" Axel joined in.

Another hound jumped at Axel, but he managed to move the shield in the way, blocking the snarling teeth. Okay, the shield was awesome. He then spun around, using the sword to cut through the hound.

-Roxas-

Roxas was getting VERY aggravated. He had no idea what was going on, and he was getting no answers. Suddenly, Lightning tossed him a sword... Thing. The young boy eyed it curiously. He took it in his hand and it just felt... Right. It was strange, especially since the closest thing Roxas had to a sword was just an inflatable bat he bought at the park years ago.

"Organization member?" Roxas asked, to which he sighed. There was no way he was going to figure out what the hell was going on now. He held the sword defensively in front of him.

-Faux-

Faux meanwhile looked around and hissed. He knew the Phantoms and Hounds weren't going to stop anytime soon. There were just too many.

"Alright..." Faux muttered with gritted teeth. "But they're not going to stop coming... I'll have to distract them. Just give me the go and I'll take them all on. I'll meet you back at your place okay?"
